The problem of output feedback stabilization of nonlinear sampled-data control systems is considered under the low measurement rate constraint. A dual-rate control scheme is proposed that utilizes a numerical integration scheme to approximately predict the missing output values between measured output samples. It is shown that if an observer-based output feedback controller that semiglobally practically asymptotically (SPA) stabilizes the single-rate sampled-data plant model is given, then the SPA stability property will be preserved for the closed-loop dual-rate sampled-data system, on the basis of the proposed dual-rate control scheme under standard assumptions. A numerical example is given to illustrate the design method.  相似文献

The stabilization problem of sampled-data non-linear systems is considered under the low measurement rate constraint. A multi-rate control scheme is proposed that utilizes a numerical integration scheme to approximately predict the current state. We show that if we design a continuous-time controller for a continuous-time plant so that the closed-loop continuous-time system is input-to-state stable and then discretize the controller and implement it using sample and zero order hold devices, then input-to-state stability property will be preserved for the sampled-data multi-rate closed loop system in a practical sense.  相似文献

In practice, the system is often modeled as a continuous-time fuzzy system, while the control input is applied only at discrete instants. This system is called a sampled-data control system. In this paper, robust guaranteed cost control for uncertain sampled-data fuzzy systems is discussed. A guaranteed cost control where a quadratic cost function is bounded by a certain scalar, not only stabilizes a system but also considers a control performance. A typical sampled-data control is the zero-order input, which can be represented as a piecewise-continuous delay. Here we take a delay system approach to the sampled-data guaranteed cost control problem. The closed-loop system with a sampled-data state feedback controller becomes a system with time-varying delay. First, guaranteed cost control performance conditions for the closed-loop system are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Such conditions are derived by using Leibniz–Newton formula and free weighting matrix method for fuzzy systems under the assumption that sampling time is not greater than some prescribed scalar. Then, a design method of robust guaranteed cost state feedback controller for uncertain sampled-data fuzzy systems is proposed. Examples are given to illustrate our robust sampled-data guaranteed cost control design.  相似文献

The problem of state feedback sampled-data stabilization of nonlinear systems is considered under the “low measurement rate” constraint and in the presence of (not necessarily small) time delay in the measurement channel. A multirate control scheme is proposed that utilizes a numerical integration scheme to approximately predict the current state from the delayed measurements. For both the controller emulation approach and the approach based on approximate discrete-time model of the system, we show that under standard assumptions the closed-loop multirate sampled data system is asymptotically stable in the semiglobal practical sense. In this paper, we studied the approximate sampleddata observer design for a class of stochastic nonlinear systems. Euler-Maruyama approximation was investigated in this paper because it is the basis of other higher precision numerical methods, and it preserves important structures of the nonlinear systems. Also, the form of Euler-Maruyama model is simple and easy to be calculated. The results provide a reference for sampled-data observer design method for such stochastic nonlinear systems, and may be useful to many practical control applications, such as tracking control in mechanical systems. And the effectiveness of the approach is demonstrated by a simulation example.   相似文献

This paper investigates sampled-data consensus problems of general linear multi-agent systems under switching topologies. To perform the consensus analysis by the averaging method, the multi-agent system in the sampled-data setting is first converted into the continuous-time system with the input delay. Then, the approximate relationship between the states of this input delay system and the states of its averaged system is established by using the tool from non-standard analysis. Subsequently, a sufficient condition ensuring the sampled-data consensus is obtained by linear matrix inequalities. It is shown that the sampled-data consensus of general linear multi-agent systems, including exponential unstable agents, can be achieved, if the speed of topology switching is fast enough and the sampled-data consensus under the averaging topology can be achieved. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of theoretical analyses.  相似文献

Actuator saturation constraint is inevitable in industrial process. In this note, we consider a discrete receding horizon control, a piecewise constant robust model predictive control, for a continuous-time plant with actuator saturation constraint through a sampled-data control approach. The solution is formulated as an optimization problem subject to linear matrix inequalities. A numerical example is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design procedure.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of the sampled-data extended dissipative control for uncertain Markov jump systems. The systems considered are transformed into Markov jump systems with polytopic uncertainties and sawtooth delays by using an input delay approach. The focus is on the design of a mode-independent sampled-data controller such that the resulting closed-loop system is mean-square exponentially stable with a given decay rate and extended dissipative. A novel exponential stability criterion and an extended dissipativty condition are established by proposing a new integral inequality. The reduced conservatism of the criteria is demonstrated by two numerical examples. Furthermore, a sufficient condition for the existence of a desired mode-independent sampled-data controller is obtained by solving a convex optimisation problem. Finally, a resistance, inductance and capacitance (RLC) series circuit is employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a design method of the optimal and robust controller subject to the constraint on control inputs for continuous-time Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy systems. In order to establish this design method, we consider an optimal and robust control problem for nonlinear dynamic systems. For this problem, we present an analytic way which can provide the optimal controller for nonlinear dynamic systems by the dynamic programming approach and the inverse optimal approach. Moreover, we analyze the robustness property of the proposed optimal controller with respect to a class of input uncertainties by the passivity approach. Then, based on the theoretical results presented in this paper, we formulate the design problem of the optimal and robust controller with input constraint for continuous-time TS fuzzy systems as the semidefinite programming problem, and find the controller by solving it. The usefulness of the proposed approach is illustrated by considering the three-axis attitude stabilization problem of rigid spacecraft.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this study, a sampled-data nonlinear model predictive control scheme is developed. The control algorithm uses a prediction horizon with variable length, a terminal constraint set, and a feedback controller defined on this set. Following a suboptimal solution strategy, a defined number of steps of an iterative optimisation routine improve the current input trajectory at each sampling point. The value of the objective function monotonically decreases and the state converges to a target set. A discrete-time formulation of the algorithm and a discrete-time design model ensure high computational efficiency and avoid an ad hoc quasi-continuous implementation. This design technique for a fast sampled-data nonlinear model predictive control algorithm is the main contribution of the paper. Based on a benchmark control problem, the performance of the developed control algorithm is assessed against state-of-the-art nonlinear model predictive control methods available in the literature. This assessment demonstrates that the developed control algorithm stabilises the system with very low computational effort. Hence, the algorithm is suitable for real-time control of fast dynamical systems.  相似文献

In this paper, we study digital control systems with non-uniform updating and sampling patterns, which include multirate sampled-data systems as special cases. We derive lifted models in the state-space domain. The main obstacle for generalized predictive control (GPC) design using the lifted models is the so-called causality constraint. Taking into account this design constraint, we propose a new GPC algorithm, which results in optimal causal control laws for the non-uniformly sampled systems. The solution applies immediately to multirate sampled-data systems where rates are integer multiples of some base period.  相似文献

This paper presents a general framework based on lifting technique for sampled-data systems with input time delays. By analyzing the properties of operator-valued matrices of lifted systems with input time delays, an extended lifting technique is obtained. It is then shown that, with the proposed lifting technique, the complex behavior of the system can be illustrated by two simple lifted systems, which construct the extended lifted system. The extended lifted system has the same induced norm as that of the original system with an input time delay, since the proposed lifting technique is an isometric isomorphism. Through applying the proposed lifting technique to sampled-data systems with input time delays, the time-invariant discrete-time system with infinite-dimensional input and output spaces is obtained. The equivalent discrete-time system, which is derived from the extended lifted system, can satisfy the problem of H 2 sampled-data control systems with input time delays. Simulation results are given to show that the proposed method can guarantee a more stable system response than the conventional H 2 sampled-data controller for the sampled-data systems with the various input time delays.  相似文献

The problem of robust sampled-data control for uncertain dynamic systems in the presence of missing data has been investigated. By using stochastic variables with a Bernoulli distributed white sequence to model missing data, along with time-varying norm-bounded uncertainties, and the input delay approach for sampled-data systems, two models for the considered sampled-data control system are proposed as the consecutive missing data scenario. Moreover, when data are missing, the control signals are held as the last received data. Sufficient conditions for the existence of desired robust sampled-data controllers are presented in the form of a linear matrix inequality. A numerical example is given to illustrate the validity of the proposed methods and to compare the results between the two proposed models of the sampled-data control system.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the problem of optimal design of an uncertain discrete time nonlinear dynamical system. The problem is formulated using an a-posterori design criterion, which can account for uncertainties generated by the dynamics of the system itself as well as parametric uncertainties. In general, for most uncertain complex dynamical systems, this type of method is difficult to solve analytically. A numerical scheme is developed for the optimal design that involves two steps. First, in order to obtain a numerical algorithm for the optimal solution, we apply randomized algorithms for average performance synthesis to approximate the optimal solution. Second, using the properties of the Perron–Frobenius operator we develop an efficient computation approach to calculate the stationary distribution for the uncertain dynamical systems and the average performance criteria.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the H/sub 2/ sampled-data control for uncertain linear systems by the impulse response interpretation of the H/sub 2/ norm. Two H/sub 2/ measures for sampled-data systems are considered. The robust optimal control procedures subject to these two H/sub 2/ criteria are proposed. The development is primarily concerned with a multirate treatment in which a periodic time-varying robust optimal control for uncertain linear systems is presented. To facilitate multirate control design, a new result of stability of hybrid system is established. Moreover, the single-rate case is also obtained as a special case. The sampling period is explicitly involved in the result which is superior to traditional methods. The solution procedures proposed in this paper are formulated as an optimization problem subject to linear matrix inequalities. Finally, we present a numerical example to demonstrate the proposed techniques.  相似文献
