This paper deals with the dynamic output feedback stabilization problem of deterministic finite automata (DFA). The static form of this problem is defined and solved in previous studies via a set of equivalent conditions. In this paper, the dynamic output feedback (DOF) stabilization of DFAs is defined in which the controller is supposed to be another DFA. The DFA controller will be designed to stabilize the equilibrium point of the main DFA through a set of proposed equivalent conditions. It has been proven that the design problem of DOF stabilization is more feasible than the static output feedback (SOF) stabilization. Three simulation examples are provided to illustrate the results of this paper in more details. The first example considers an instance DFA and develops SOF and DOF controllers for it. The example explains the concepts of the DOF controller and how it will be implemented in the closed-loop DFA. In the second example, a special DFA is provided in which the DOF stabilization is feasible, whereas the SOF stabilization is not. The final example compares the feasibility performance of the SOF and DOF stabilizations through applying them to one hundred random-generated DFAs. The results reveal the superiority of the DOF stabilization.  相似文献

Today's news readers can be easily overwhelmed by the numerous news articles online. To cope with information overload, online news media publishes timelines for continuously developing news topics. However, the timeline summary does not show the relationship of storylines, and is not intuitive for readers to comprehend the development of a complex news topic. In this paper, we study a novel problem of exploring the interactions of storylines in a news topic. An interaction of two storylines is signified by informative news events that play a key role in both storylines. Storyline interactions can indicate key phases of a news topic, and reveal the latent connections among various aspects of the story. We address the coherence between news articles which is not considered in traditional similarity-based methods, and discover salient storyline interactions to form a clear, global picture of the news topic. User preference can be naturally integrated into our method to generate query-specific results. Comprehensive experiments on ten news topics show the effectiveness of our method over alternative approaches.  相似文献

In this paper,the problem of global output feedback stabilization for a class of upper-triangular nonlinear systems with time-varying time-delay in the state is considered.The uncertain nonlinearities are assumed to be higher-order in the unmeasurable states.Based on the extended homogeneous domination approach,using a low gain observer in combination with controller,the delay-independent output feedback controller makes closed-loop system globally asymptotically stable under a homogeneous growth condition.  相似文献

This paper analyzes the sensitivity to noise in BAM (Bidirectional Associative Memory), and then proves the noise immunity of BAM relates not only to the minimum absolute value of net inputs (MAV) but also to the variance of weights associated with synapse connections. In fact, it is a positive monotonically increasing function of the quotient of MAV divided by the variance of weights. Besides, the performance of pseudo-relaxation method depends on learning parameters(λ and ξ), but the relation of them is not linear. So it is hard to find a best combination of λ and ξ which leads to the best BAM performance. And it is obvious that pseudo-relaxation is a kind of local optimization method, so it cannot guarantee to get the global optimal solution. In this paper, a novel learning algorithm EPRBAM (evolutionary psendo-relaxation learning algorithm for bidirectional association memory) employing genetic algorithm and pseudo-relaxation method is proposed to get feasible solution of BAM weight matrix. This algorithm uses the quotient as the fitness of each individual and employs pseudo-relaxation method to adjust individual solution when it does not satisfy constraining condition any more after genetic operation. Experimental results show this algorithm improves noise immunity of BAM greatly. At the same time, EPRBAM does not depend on learning parameters and can get global optimal solution.  相似文献

This paper first develops a Lyapunov-type theorem to study global well-posedness(existence and uniqueness of the strong variational solution)and asymptotic stability in probability of nonlinear stochastic evolution systems(SESs)driven by a special class of Levy processes,which consist of Wiener and compensated Poisson processes.This theorem is then utilized to develop an approach to solve an inverse optimal stabilization problem for SESs driven by Levy processes.The inverse optimal control design achieves global well-posedness and global asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system,and minimizes a meaningful cost functional that penalizes both states and control.The approach does not require to solve a Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation(HJBE).An optimal stabilization of the evolution of the frequency of a certain genetic character from the population is included to illustrate the theoretical developments.  相似文献

In this paper,a necessary and sufficient condition of the global controllability for a class of low dimensional polynomial affine nonlinear systems with special structure is obtained.The condition is imposed on the coefficients of the system only and the methods are based on Green’s formula and the trajectory analysis of planar linear system.Furthermore, I point out that the global controllability does not hold for the corresponding high dimensional polynomial system.  相似文献

A novel method, named critical-network-based (CNB),for timing optimization in global routing is presented in this paper.The essence of this method is different from that of the typical existing ones,named nets-based (NB) and critical-path-based (CPB).The main contribution of this paper is that the CNB delay reduction method is more efficient than the typical existing ones.This new method makes it possible to reduce the delay in an overall survey.Based on CNB,a timing optimization algorithm for global routing is implemented and tested on Microelectronics Center of North Carolina (MCNC) benchmarks in this paper.The experimental results axe compared between this algorithm and the existing ones.The experimental results show that this algorithm is able to control the delay efficiently.  相似文献

This paper studies the global robust output regulation problem for lower triangular systems subject to nonlinear exosystems. By employing the internal model approach, this problem can be boiled down to a global robust stabilization problem of a time-varying nonlinear system in the cascade-connected form. Then, a set of sufficient conditions for the solvability of the problem is derived, and thus, leading to the solution to the global robust output regulation problem. In this paper,we propose a new arc consistency algorithm,AC-8,which requires less computation time and space than AC-6 and AC-7.The main idea of the optimization is the divide-and-conquer strategy,thereby decomposing an arc consistency problem into a series of smaller ones and trying to solve them in sequence. In this way,not only the space complexity but also the time complexity can be reduced.The reason for this is that due to the ahead of time performed inconsistency propagation(in the semse that some of them are executed before the entire inconsistency checking has been finished),each constraint subnetwork will be searched with a gradually shrunk domain.In addition,the technique of AC-6 can be integrated into our algorithm,leading to a further decrease in computational complexity.  相似文献

The global robust stabilization problem of cascaded systems with dynamic uncertainty has been approached by the small gain theorem. This method, however, does not produce an explicit Lyapunov function for the closed-loop system. In this paper, we develop a Lyapunov's direct method based recursive approach to solving the global robust stabilization problem for the mentioned systems. This method also produces an explicit Lyapunov function for the closed-loop system which is a superposition of those of individual subsystems. This Lyapunov function is indispensable when the adaptive control of the same class of systems is further considered.  相似文献

In recent years, many important results on global stabilization of feedforward nonlinear systems have been proposed. However, in all previous results, to develop a global stabilizer, one must know some a priori information on system nonlinearities. For example, it is required that the system nonlinearities be known, or be bounded by known functions, or be linearly parametrized, or satisfy some high order growth rate condition, etc. The contribution of this paper is proposing a universal global stabilizer design for a class of feedforward systems, which does not require a priori knowledge of system nonlinearities.  相似文献

The 3-D pendulum consists of a rigid body, supported at a fixed pivot, with three rotational degrees of freedom; it is acted on by gravity and it is fully actuated by control forces. In , almost global stabilization of the inverted equilibrium manifold was studied using a smooth globally defined feedback. Here, we study the problem of almost global stabilization of the inverted equilibrium manifold using non-smooth feedback of angular velocity and a reduced attitude vector of the 3-D pendulum. The importance of the non-smooth feedback is that the almost global domain of attraction is a geometrically simple set that excludes the hanging attitude manifold. Unlike the closed-loop for a 3-D pendulum with a smooth controller, the closed-loop designed in this paper does not exhibit a performance constraint. These new results are based on Lyapunov analysis of the non-smooth closed-loop 3-D pendulum.   相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of event‐based linear control of systems subject to input saturation. First, for discrete‐time systems with neutrally stable or double‐integrator dynamics, novel event‐triggered control algorithms with non‐quadratic event‐triggering conditions are proposed to achieve global stabilization. Compared with the quadratic event‐triggering conditions, the non‐quadratic ones can further reduce unnecessary control updates for the input‐saturated systems. Furthermore, for continuous‐time systems with neutrally stable or double‐integrator dynamics, because an inherent lower bound of the inter‐event time does not exist for systems subject to input saturation, novel event‐triggered control algorithms with an appropriately selected minimum inter‐event time are proposed to achieve global stabilization. The existence of a high degree of free riding is a serious threat to Peer-to-Peer (P2P) networks. In this paper, we propose a distributed framework to reduce the adverse effects of free riding on P2P networks. Our solution primarily focuses on locating free riders and taking actions against them. We propose a framework in which each peer monitors its neighbors, decides if they are free riders, and takes appropriate actions. Unlike other proposals against free riding, our framework does not require any permanent identification of peers or security infrastructures for maintaining a global reputation system. Our simulation results show that the framework can reduce the effects of free riding and can therefore increase the performance of a P2P network.  相似文献

Multiparty interactions are a powerful mechanism for coordinating several entities that need to cooperate in order to achieve a common goal. In this paper, we present an algorithm for implementing them that improves on previous results in that it does not require the whole set of entities or interactions to be known at compile‐ or run‐time, and it can deal with both terminating and non‐terminating systems. We also present a comprehensive simulation analysis that shows how sensitive to changes our algorithm is, and compare the results with well‐known proposals by other authors. This study proves that our algorithm still performs comparably to other proposals in which the set of entities and interactions is known beforehand, but outperforms them in some situations that are clearly identified. In addition, these results prove that our algorithm can be combined with a technique called synchrony loosening without having an effect on efficiency. We present a nonsmooth output feedback framework for local and/or global stabilization of a class of nonlinear systems that are not smoothly stabilizable nor uniformly observable. A systematic design method is presented for the construction of stabilizing, dynamic output compensators that are nonsmooth but HÖlder continuous. A new ingredient of the proposed output feedback control scheme is the introduction of a recursive observer design algorithm, making it possible to construct a reduced-order observer step-by-step, in a naturally augmented manner. Such a nonsmooth design leads to a number of new results on output feedback stabilization of nonlinear systems. One of them is the global stabilizability of a chain of odd power integrators by HÖlder continuous output feedback. The other one is the local stabilization using nonsmooth output feedback for a wide class of nonlinear systems in the Hessenberg form studied in a previous paper, where global stabilizability by nonsmooth state feedback was already proved to be possible.  相似文献

In this paper, a simple method is proposed for calculating positions on the ground with a differential global positioning system that does not use conventional correction data. The method employs two low-cost GPS receivers, one of them being at a fixed location. In order to coordinate their operation, both receivers only use three of the highest satellites in sight. The precision obtained with this technique is similar to that calculated by more sophisticated methods.  相似文献
