Statistical Analysis on the Articles and Authors of

“Journal of Image and Graphics” started its publication four years ago. Since then, it has made many contributions to the progress of the researches, applications and developments of image and graphics in China. In this paper, according to the principles and methods of bibliometrics, a systematic investigation and analysis has been made on the articles published in this journal and the authors of these articles in the last four years. This work reveals the current status of researchers on image and graphics, and shows the development of “Journal of Image and Graphics” after its initiation. It not only affirms the rationality of this journal as a core journal in the science of image and graphics, but also provides useful reference data for the further development of the science and advancement of the journal.     

对《中国图象图形学报》之洛特卡分布参数的统计分析

洛特卡定律反映了科研论文数量与作者数量之间的统计规律(常按期刊统计),但其中的参数与学科特点有关。《中国图象图形学报》是图象图形科学领域的重要刊物,以往对其论文数量与作者数量的研究均参照其他工作使用了经典洛特卡定律的参数(由洛特卡对物理和化学的刊物统计得到)。本文通过对该刊创刊10年来有关数据的统计,计算出了该刊特殊的、反映其所属学科特点的洛特卡定律参数,并对不同合著论文作者是否服从洛特卡分布进行了检验分析,为进一步研究该刊的发展情况和规律提供了参考。     

对《中国图象图形学报》论文、引文及读者利用情况的统计分析

该文采取统计分析的方法 ,对 1996年 5月 - 2 0 0 2年 6月间出版的《中国图象图形学报》,从论文作者情况、论文引文情况、读者利用情况等 3个方面 ,对该刊所发表的学术论文进行了分类统计 ,并在此基础上系统分析了《中国图象图形学报》的基本特点 ,其目的是通过统计分析 ,为该刊进一步总结经验 ,提高质量 ,充分发挥其作为自动化技术和计算机技术的核心期刊在加强学术交流 ,活跃学术思想 ,繁荣学术研究 ,促进学科发展等方面的积极作用 .通过分析可以看出 ,该刊虽然创办时间不长 ,但已经形成了一支素质较高的专业作者队伍和比较稳定的读者群 ,在推广科研成果 ,反映研究进展 ,促进学术交流 ,推动学科建设等方面已经发挥了重要作用 ,这也从一个侧面进一步印证了《学报》被确定为我国自动化技术、计算机技术类核心期刊的合理性 .     

A bibliometric analysis of the Journal of Molecular Graphics and Modelling

This paper reviews the articles published in Volumes 2-24 of the Journal of Molecular Graphics and Modelling (formerly the Journal of Molecular Graphics), focusing on the changes that have occurred in the subject over the years, and on the most productive and most cited authors and institutions. The most cited papers are those describing systems or algorithms, but the proportion of these types of article is decreasing as more applications of molecular graphics and molecular modelling are reported.     

《中国图象图形学报》创刊20年出版情况统计分析

目的 在《中国图象图形学报》创刊20年后,回顾和总结其20年来的发展情况,分析当前状态,并展望未来方向。方法 对1996年创刊以来前20年的出版情况和数据进行统计和分析,包括学报创刊情况,所设栏目（及其文献数量）和主题,所发表的文献综述系列的概况及所反映的特点,以及学报的出版期数、页数、篇数（包括每期页数、每期篇数、每篇页数等）与它们的变化和趋势。结果 将学报的统计数据与其他14种图像工程刊物进行了对比,反映了学报在相关领域的相对专业地位和学术水平,也揭示了若干值得改进的方向。结论 经过20年的努力和发展,学报已是相关专业领域里的一个重要刊物,但还有继续提高的需求和目标。

对基于PC图形硬件的直接体绘制技术进行了介绍、归类和总结，力求为本领域的的研究提供一个较为详实的背景资料。     

Digital Image Watermarking Based on Discrete Wavelet Transform

This paper aims at digital watermark which is a new popular research topic recently,presents some methods to embed digital watermark based on modifying frequency coefficients in discrete wavelet transform(DWT) domian,Fist,the,the present progress of digital watermark is briefly introduced;after that,starting from Pitas‘s method and discarding his pseudo random number method,the authors use a digital image scrambling technology as preprocessing for digital watermarking ,Then the authors discuss how to embed a 1-bit digital image as watermark in frequency domain.Finally another digital watermarking method is given in which3-D DWT is used to transform a given digtial image .Based on the experimental results ,it is shown that the proposed methods are robust to a large extent.

随着在近几年来人们利用Web作为交流与信息交换的重要方式的快速增长,图形、图像的重要性越来越突出。可以毫不夸张地说Web能够被越来越多的人所接受在很大程度上是由于Web上图形的出现。SVG是最近几年来在Web上很流行的矢量图形格式,它是一种基于XML的二维矢量图形,正在被越来越多的用户和业界所使用。文章将就其特点、在Web上使用的优势、以及用于地图发布使用的技术和应用前景做一全面的介绍。     

The premier CG and A digital media issue

A growing part of the computer graphics field (its science, algorithms, products, and applications) deals with either dynamic situations, digital media, or both. As a result, it's challenging for computing professionals to fully understand, or experience the applications for, dynamic and digital media when the expression of computer graphics is confined to printed articles. IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications has embarked on an experiment in bringing digital media content to our readers-not to replace our print publication but to augment it with a new method of communication. High-quality print articles can do an excellent job of telling the how, but in many instances, digital media can better express the what dimension of understanding graphics. Another goal of CG&A is to provide a professionally reviewed channel for researchers and practitioners of computer graphics. Digital media publication may better serve the needs of a community whose contribution is best expressed or understood through interactive or dynamic content, or whose preferred method of communication isn't the printed word.
