多线程机制是提高系统执行效率的关键,但对于采用EJB技术的服务器端,由于EJB规范限制使用多线程机制,因此执行效率往往不那么令人满意。针对EJB中不能使用线程这一缺陷,文中给出了在EJB中如何用JMS来模拟多线程机制并提供了一个具体的实现方案,将该方案用于网管系统中并发的获取各网络设备的MIB信息以计算某一网络性能指标时取得了令人满意的成绩,大大缩短了系统运行的时间。从而可知在EJB中采用JMS技术来模拟多线程机制不仅在理论上可行,在实际应用中也是可行的。  相似文献

提出一种基于犹豫模糊集的软件质量评价模型。首先,根据专家打分,将犹豫模糊集与直觉模糊集相结合,得出软件质量特性的综合犹豫模糊评价矩阵;然后,通过计算犹豫模糊广义比较表,得出软件各质量属性得分;最后根据得分情况给出软件的质量排序。该模型较好地解决了专家对软件质量指标进行评价时的犹豫性问题。具体的案例分析表明,所提出的软件质量评价模型是可行、有效的。  相似文献

The use of web-based learning and assessment tools is growing in tertiary institutions around the world. To date, very few papers have reported the development and evaluation of a web-based formative assessment tool for postgraduate students. The aim of the present paper was to report on the development and evaluation of an online formative assessment tool for this student group. The web-based formative assessment tool was evaluated by a sample of undergraduate students, postgraduate students and academic staff within a psychology department in order to determine the suitability and sensitivity of the tool. The results of this pilot test suggest that the development of such a tool is both appropriate and feasible for Masters students studying psychology.  相似文献

This study focuses on the decisive role played by the digital design environment in the cognitive design process and design thinking. To analyse the cognitive role of digital design tools, we carried out a protocol analysis of conventional design sketching and a 3D sculpture tool. Cognitive evaluation was a differentiating factor when considering the contextual role of the 3D sculpture tool in subsequent evaluations, non-sequential evaluations for conversion, and passive approaches within the design process. Cognitive evaluation played the following roles: validation, extension, navigation, exploration, and confirmation. The navigation, exploration, and extension roles played by non-sequential evaluation were mainly related to inductive design thinking. Finally, the types of cognitive evaluation and their roles when using the 3D sculpture tool were different, according to the design thinking type. This study explored the multidimensional roles of cognitive evaluation using a 3D sculpture tool and its relationship with design thinking types.  相似文献

Based on current knowledge of cumulative trauma disorders in the hand and forearm, related to the use of hand tools, an analysis was undertaken of variables to be considered in ergonomics evaluation of hand tools. Measurement methods were developed and an evaluation station was implemented. Measurement methods are physical, physiological or psychophysical. They focus on the tool, and on the effect of typical use of the tool on the operator. The evaluation station serves as a resource in the development, selection, and testing of tools for a given purpose.  相似文献

This paper discusses the comparative evaluation of five well-known pronoun resolution algorithms conducted with the help of a purpose-built tool for consistent evaluation in anaphora resolution, termed the evaluation workbench. The workbench enables the evaluation and comparison of pronoun resolution algorithms on the basis of the same preprocessing tools and test data. The tool is controlled by the user who can conduct the evaluation according to a variety of parameters, with regard to the types of anaphors and the samples used for evaluation. The extensive comparative evaluation of the pronoun resolution algorithms showed that their performance was significantly lower than the figures reported in the original papers describing the algorithms. The evaluation study concluded that the main reason for this drop in performance is the fact that all algorithms operate in a fully automatic mode.  相似文献

This paper reports two trials of an evaluation framework intended to evaluate novel software applications. The evaluation framework was originally developed to evaluate a risk-based software bidding model, and our first trial of using the framework was our evaluation of the bidding model. We found that the framework worked well as a validation framework but needed to be extended before it would be appropriate for evaluation. Subsequently, we compared our framework with a recently completed evaluation of a software tool undertaken as part of the Framework V CLARiFi project. In this case, we did not use the framework to guide the evaluation; we used the framework to see whether it would identify any weaknesses in the actual evaluation process. Activities recommended by the framework were not undertaken in the order suggested by the evaluation process and we found problems relating to that oversight surfaced during the tool evaluation activities. Our experiences suggest that the framework has some benefits but it also requires further practical testing.  相似文献

This paper describes the design and evaluation of a socio-technical design support system, the system reliability analyser (SRA). The tool is used to validate non-functional system requirements, such as system reliability. It employs a Bayesian belief network (BBN) model to assess system reliability (Pearl in Probabilistic reasoning in intelligent systems: networks of plausible information, 1988) based on a variety of high-level operational scenarios. The tool diagnoses problematic areas in future system models and assists in the identification of their causes. The evaluation of the tool demonstrated that it supported the task it was intended to do. The evaluation also identified usability problems in the current visualisations and illustrated their resolution.  相似文献

This article describes our design and evaluation of a multisensory human perceptual tool for the real-world task domain of stock market trading. The tool is complementary in that it displays different information to different senses - our design incorporates both a 3D visual and a 2D sound display. The results of evaluating the tool in a formal experiment are complex. The data mined in this case study is bid-and-ask data - also called depth-of-market data - from the Australian Stock Exchange. Our visual-auditory display is the bid-ask-land-scape, which we developed over much iteration with the close collaboration of an expert in the stock market domain. From this domain's perspective, the project's principal goal was to develop a tool to help traders uncover new trading patterns in depth-of-market data. In this article, we not only describe the design of the bid-ask-landscape but also report on a formal evaluation of this visual-auditory display. We tested nonexperts on their ability to use the tool to predict the future direction of stock prices.  相似文献
