A BP Neural Network Based Information Fusion Method for Urban Traffic Speed Estimation

Obtaining comprehensive and accurate information is very important in intelligent traffic system (ITS). In ITS, the GPS floating car system is an very important approach for traffic data acquisition. However, in this system, the GPS blind areas caused by tall buildings and tunnels could affect the acquisition of traffic information and depress the system performance. Aiming at this problem, we developed a novel method employing a back propagation (BP) neural network to estimate the traffic speed in the GPS blind areas. When the speed of one road section is lost, we can use the speed of its related road sections to estimate its speed. The complete historical data of these road sections are used to train the neural network, using Levenberg-Marquardt learning algorithm. Then, the current speed of the related roads is used by the trained neural network to get the speed of the road section without GPS signal. We compare the speed of the road section estimated by our method with the real speed of this road section, and the experimental results show that the speed of this road section estimated by our method is better.     

Research and Development of a Network—Based Intelligent Maintenance Information System

A maintenance information system is an important part of equipment management.An intelli-gent maintenance information system(IMIS)is a synthesis of network technology,information technology and intelligent technology.The IMIS in used to finish flexible maintenance decision-making and fast main-tenance planning,which helps enterprises to effectively reduce maintenance cost and increase working effi-ciency.Because the IMIS integrates advanced technologies,its performance is better than a traditional one.The difference between an IMIS and a traditional maintenance information system,and the functions,struc-ture,important realizations,and application of an IMIS are discussed in this paper.

The research and practice of CIMS and FMS has brought about a great development to ad-vanced manufacturing systems for decades.The experience of failure and success during the process of development is a revelation and reference for the design of a fault diangosis system.This paper focuses on its function of directing to the design of a fault diagnosis system in terms of the flexibility of the sys-tem,the humans importance in the system,and the design of a distributed system.In view of the tend-ency of CIMS and FMS, the article also states the principle that the new fault diagnosis system should be improved by enhancing hardware in software,remote Internet service,and sustainable development.

China is one of the countries most severely suffered from tropical cyclones. The exact and timely forecasting and warning is of significant importance in struggling against tropical cyclones and mitigating their impacts on China. The NWP system for tropical cyclone rainfall and high winds is going to play a more and more important role. There is also a need for timely and user friendly modern warning services in order to provide the governments and relevant authorities at all levels and general public with typhoon forecasts and information about the associated disasters including response strategy services.     

Standardizing signs on bublic information in the New Coastal Area

The public information signs ( The term public information signs will be abbreviated to public signs in the following text.)in the urban areas not only offer convenience for people to move around, but also reflect the level of development and progress of those areas. It is essential to the creative development and uplifting of the New Costal Area (thereafter, NCA) to have a good understanding of its present situation with regard to its public signs, to discuss the related issues in the development, to work out a system that is up to international standard and develop its own standards in the course of implementing the national strategies on standardizing public signs.

本文是针对城市中各类公共信息标志存在双语译法混乱的现状,通过查阅大量资料和标准,经过了实地调研,提出了双语标志设计和使用的基本原则,并给出了应用实例,明确了双语标志的使用方法。     

Epidemiologic Evolution Platform Using Integrated Modeling and Geographic Information System

At the international level, a major effort is being made to optimize the flow of data and information for health systems management. The studies show that medical and economic efficiency is strongly influenced by the level of development and complexity of implementing an integrated system of epidemiological monitoring and modeling. The solution proposed and described in this paper is addressed to all public and private institutions involved in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, using recognized methods and standards in this field. The Green-Epidemio is a platform adaptable to the specific features of any public institution for disease management, based on open-source software, allowing the adaptation, customization, and further development of “open-source” applications, according to the specificities of the public institution, the changes in the economic and social environment and its legal framework. The platform has a mathematical model for the spread of COVID-19 infection depending on the location of the outbreaks so that the allocation of resources and the geographical limitation of certain areas can be parameterized according to the number and location of the real-time identified outbreaks. The social impact of the proposed solution is due to the planned applications of information flow management, which is a first step in improving significantly the response time and efficiency of people-operated response services. Moreover, institutional interoperability influences strategic societal factors.

标准有关信息对公众产品质量认知影响研究

标准支撑经济社会健康发展的作用显著提高了公众对标准问题的关注和标准与产品质量相关性的探索意愿.但受标准技术性和专业性的影响,其对一般公众而言知识的可及性相对较差,因此可能导致标准有关信息的引入对公众的产品认知与其他外部信息的影响有不同的发展规律.本文以标准作为兼具技术性和公众相关性话题的代表,通过实验分析的方法,观察不同信息叠加对公众的产品态度的影响,讨论了标准对产品质量认知的影响方式.
