On January 20, 2010, the Memorandum of Sino-EU/EFTA Cooperation in Standardization Information Platform was signed in Brussels.Mr.Ji Zhengkun, administrator of the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China; Mrs.F.Le Bail, deputy director-general of DG ENTR; as well as representatives of the European Free Trade Association, European Committee for Standardization, European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization, and European Telecommunications Standards Institute attended the ceremony and signed the memorandum.Mr.Ji Zhengkun and Mrs.F.Le Bail delivered speeches at the ceremony, speaking highly of the great efforts China and the EU have made in advancing the construction of the information platform and proposing expectations for follow-up.

SAC Signs Cooperation Agreements with BSI and SIST

正During the visit to the UK and Slovenia,SAC Administrator Tian Shihong on behalf of SAC signed cooperation agreements with BSI and SIST respectively in early July this year.SAC and BSI signed the Three-Year Action Plan for Implementing the MOU on China-UK Standardization Cooperation(2016-2018).While,SAC and SIST signed a cooperation agreement,and the latter also witnessed the signing of China-UK Standardization     

National Conference on Technological Innovation of Standardization Held in Beijing

Organized and hosted by the Standardization Administration of China, the National Conference on Technological Innovation of Standardization was held in Beijing on March 13th. In his speech at the conference, Mr. Li Chuanqing, Party Secretary of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, called for the vigorous implementation of technological standardization strategies to substantially elevate the overall level of Chinese standards. CAS Held the 6th Council Conference

On Nov. 29th 2004, China Association for Standardization (CAS) held the 1st session of 6th council conference in Beijing. Li Changjiang, Head of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China (AQSIQ) was present at the conference and made a speech. Li Chuangqing, Secretary of the leading Party members' group of AQSIQ joined the evening banquet and addressed an important lecture. The 6th meeting of the board of executive directors of China Association for Standardization (CAS) (the 2nd chairman meeting in 2005) was held in Beijing on January 19th, 2006.
