研究了Tm3 /Yb3 共掺碲酸盐玻璃的Raman光谱、红外光谱和上转换发光光谱,分析了OH-对Tm3 上转换发光的影响。结果表明,氧氯碲酸盐玻璃的声子能量高于氧氟碲酸盐玻璃的声子能量,但是Tm3 /Yb3 共掺氧氟碲酸盐玻璃的上转换发光强度高于Tm3 /Yb3 共掺氧氯碲酸盐玻璃。分析认为这主要是由于OH-的影响,在氧氟碲酸盐玻璃中OH-的浓度较低,导致Tm3 的荧光寿命高,从而提高Tm3 的上转换发光。在一定程度上,OH-对Tm3 上转换发光的影响大于声子能量对Tm3 上转换发光的影响。研究结果有助于进一步提高Tm3 的发光效率。 相似文献

碲酸盐玻璃由于独特的光学性质在光通讯领域具有潜在的应用价值,如掺铒光纤放大器和非线性光学器件,因而得到广泛的关注。近几年,国内外为了提高碲酸盐玻璃的机械性质和光学性能而采取了玻璃的微晶化处理,希望得到碲酸盐玻璃陶瓷。对几种碲酸盐玻璃系统进行了热力学分析,研究比较了其析晶性能,并结合已见报道的文献论证了有望做出玻璃陶瓷的碲酸盐玻璃系统。 相似文献

分析了掺Er3+碲酸盐玻璃的热力学稳定性能,研究了掺Er3+碲酸盐玻璃的吸收和荧光光谱性质;应用Judd-Ofelt理论计算了碲酸盐玻璃中Er3+离子的强度参数Ω(Ω2=4.79×10-20cm2, Ω4=1.52×10-20cm2,Ω6=0.66×10-20cm2),计算了离子的自发跃迁几率,荧光分支比;应用McCumber理论计算了Er3+的受激发射截面(σe=10.40×10-21cm2)、Er3+离子4I13/2→4I15/2 发射谱的荧光半高宽(FWHM=65.5nm)及各能级的荧光寿命(4I13/2能级为τrad=3.99ms);比较了不同基质玻璃中Er3+离子的光谱特性,结果表明掺铒碲酸盐玻璃更适合于掺Er3+光纤放大器实现宽带和高增益放大. 相似文献

制备了一种新型的可应用于1.5μm通讯窗口宽带放大自发辐射光源的掺铒碲酸盐玻璃单模光纤(EDTF),并分析了其热学性质和光谱特性、该玻璃显示了良好的热稳定性(△T〉150℃)和匹配的热膨胀系数.采用自制EDTF短光纤,组装了超荧光单程反向结构光源(SPB),利用波长为980nm的半导体激光器抽运掺Er^3+的碲酸盐短光纤,可在1450-1650nm范围获得宽带宽的铒离子放大自发辐射光谱(ASE).研究了光纤长度,泵浦功率等对放大自发辐射光谱的影响.研究结果显示,该碲酸盐玻璃是一种适用于宽带放大自发辐射光源的基质材料. 相似文献

制备了TeO2-BaO(Li2O,Na2O)-La2O3掺铒碲酸盐玻璃系统,测量玻璃的密度、折射率和DSC曲线,以及玻璃的吸收光谱和荧光光谱.由测得的密度和折射率等参数,应用Judd-Ofelt理论和McCumber理论,计算出碲酸盐玻璃的各光学性能参数与受激发射截面.且从测得热稳定性能较好的TBLE3荧光发射谱图中得到该碲酸盐玻璃荧光半高宽(FWHM)为~60nm,σepeak×FHWM值高达~600,明显大于掺铒硅酸盐玻璃和磷酸盐玻璃,表明该种碲酸盐玻璃是光纤发大器用的理想基质材料. 相似文献

报道了钨碲酸盐玻璃系统TeO2-ZnO-Na2O-WO3 和钨铌碲酸盐玻璃系统TeO2- ZnO-Na2O-Nb2O5-WO3抗析晶热稳定性和拉曼光谱特性. 实验研究了掺杂WO3和Nb2O5对碲酸盐玻璃抗析晶热稳定性和拉曼光谱特性的影响,并分析讨论了掺杂碲酸盐玻璃拉曼谱带展宽机制. 结果表明,掺杂WO3和Nb2O5较大地提高了碲酸盐玻璃的抗析晶热稳定性,钨铌碲酸盐玻璃最大抗析晶热稳定性ΔT达154℃. 拉曼光谱研究表明,WO3和Nb2O5的加入使碲酸盐玻璃在921和862cm-1附近出现特征谱带,导致拉曼光谱中高频移区从550cm-1延伸扩展到950cm-1,从而有效地拓宽了碲酸盐玻璃的拉曼带宽,钨铌碲酸盐玻璃最大拉曼光谱半高宽可达355cm-1. 实验研究表明,钨铌碲酸盐玻璃是宽带拉曼光纤放大器的候选材料之一. 相似文献

制备了掺Er^3 氟铅硅酸盐玻璃,研究了玻璃的物理性质、热稳定性、吸收光谱、荧光光谱和荧光寿命,应用McCumber理论,计算了能级^4I13/2→^4I15/2跃迁的吸收和受激发射截面.结果表明:以PbF2等分子替代PbO含量,样品密度、折射率、热稳定性、吸收截面和受激发射截面降低,但荧光半高宽和荧光寿命增加,对Er^3 离子在不同玻璃基质中带宽特性的比较发现,Er^3 掺杂50SiO2—50PbF2玻璃的带宽特性与碲酸盐和铋酸盐玻璃相当,大于磷酸盐,锗酸盐和硅酸盐玻璃,表明掺Er^3 氟铅硅酸盐玻璃可作为宽带光纤放大器的基质材料。 相似文献

Based on the host of tellurite glasses, the glass formation, preform manufacture, and fiber fabrication are described. The characterization of amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) from this newly fabricated single-mode Er3+-doped tellurite fibers is also presented. When pumped at 980 nm, a very broad erbium ASE around 1.53 μm was observed. The variations of ASE with fiber length and pumping power are measured and discussed. The output of 2 mW from Er3+-doped tellurite fiber ASE source was obtained under the pump power of 660 mW. 相似文献

1 wt pct Nd2O3-doped tellurite bulk glass and fiber with the same composition of 75TeO2-15ZnO-5Na2O-5Li2O (molfraction, %) were fabricated. Judd-Ofelt analysis was carried out for the bulk. The emission from the 4F3/2→4I13/2 transition in fiber is at 1.33 μm wavelength with a spectral bandwidth of 55 nm, which is similar to that in bulk. In the case of the fiber, the lifetime of 4F3/2 level is 164μs, and the quantum efficiency is ~100%. The figure-of-merit for gain (σoT0) for Nd3 -doped tellurite glass is about 2.8×10-24 cm2.s, which is quite comparable with that in Nd3 -doped fluoroaluminate glasses, and is an order of magnitude larger than pr3 -doped fluoride glasses. 相似文献

The internal quantum efficiencies under sunlight and laser excitation were measured directly by an integrating sphere method for tellurite, borosilicate and fluoride glasses. The radiative quantum efficiency was also obtained by Judd–Ofelt analysis. The radiative quantum efficiency was almost 100% for tellurite and fluoride glasses and 50% for borosilicate glasses. The quantum efficiency under laser excitation was 86%, 34% and 88% for tellurite, borosilicate and fluoride glasses at a low Nd3+ content and decreased by concentration quenching. The quantum efficiency under sunlight excitation was up to 33%, 21% and 70% for tellurite, borosilicate and fluoride glasses. Nd3+-doped fluoride glass is a promising candidate for solar pumped laser applications since it has the high quantum efficiency under sunlight excitation. 相似文献

碲酸盐氧卤玻璃具有低声子能以及较好的稳定性和析晶性能等优秀的综合品质,是一类很有前途的光学玻璃材料。采用熔融法制备了不同组成的TeO2-Nb2O5-BaO-BaCl2系统玻璃,研究了网络结构变化和组成对该系统玻璃的成玻璃性能和析晶性能的影响,同时探讨了向玻璃基体内引入银纳米晶体的可能性。结果表明,BaCl2的引入使得玻璃网络结构中键合及基团种类增多,碲氧链间的连接加强,网络结构更加紧密,并且成玻璃区域有所扩展。TeO2-Nb2O5-BaO-BaCl2系统玻璃基体在保持自身结构稳定性的同时,更有利于AgCl纳米晶体析出,是一种适合金属纳米晶掺杂的优良光学玻璃基体材料。 相似文献

In this paper, new highly Tm3+-doped tellurite glasses with host composition 75TeO2-xZnF2-yGeO2-12PbO-3Nb2O5 [x(5-15), y(0-5) mol%] are presented and compared to the Tm-doped tellurite glasses based on the traditional host composition: 75TeO2-20ZnO-5Na2O mol%. Enhanced quantum efficiency from 3F4 level was observed for the proposed glasses and thermal stability and viscosity values make them suitable for optical fiber drawing. Besides the host composition, substantial influence of Tm3+ concentration on luminescence and lifetime of excited 3F4 and 3H4 states were discussed. 相似文献

Divalent metal fluorides MF2 (M=Sr, Mg, Ca) in oxyfluoride tellurite glasses TeO2-BaF2-LaF3 were synthesized. The densities, refractive indices and characteristic temperatures of synthesized glasses were measured. The influence of divalent metal fluorides-MF2(M=Sr, Mg, Ca) on the thermal stability of oxyfluoride tellurite glasses TeO2-BaF2-LaF3 were studied. Results show that the replacement of BaF2 by SrF2 and MgF2 can enhance the thermal stability against crystallization of the glass. A glass system with good thermal stability was produced, which could be a potential candidate for the host materials of the fiber devices. 相似文献

Magneto-optical glasses are of considerable current interest, primarily for applications in fiber circuitry, optical isolation, all-optical diodes, optical switching and modulation. While the benchmark materials are still crystalline, glasses offer a variety of unique advantages, such as very high rare-earth and heavy-metal solubility and, in principle, the possibility of being produced in fiber form. In comparison to conventional fiber-drawing processes, pressure-assisted melt-filling of microcapillaries or photonic crystal fibers with magneto-optical glasses offers an alternative route to creating complex waveguide architectures from unusual combinations of glasses. For instance, strongly diamagnetic tellurite or chalcogenide glasses with high refractive index can be combined with silica in an all-solid, microstructured waveguide. This promises the implementation of as-yet-unsuitable but strongly active glass candidates as fiber waveguides, for example in photonic crystal fibers. 相似文献
