Fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) are becoming increasingly important in aerospace and premium automotive applications. Usually, the manufacturing of FRP components requires dry machining which generates large quantities of dust. Because of their small size, the dust particles are extremely harmful to machine components and the operator’s physical health. To prevent long-term damage an effective suction system is required. Currently, extraction systems are subsequently integrated into conventional machine tools with no regard to energy efficiency. Hence, this paper introduces the development of an energy-efficient and intelligent dust suction concept for dry machining of FRP. Numerical flow simulations are used to investigate the effectiveness of a central suction as well as local suction at the cutting tool. In order to evaluate the newly developed concept, the amount of extracted particles along with the necessary volumetric flow rates are assessed. The simulation results demonstrate an improved dust particle extraction and an energy saving potential of up to 70%. 相似文献

为研究机加工生产线上机床粉尘、油雾等环境属性数据采集监测的方法,研制了一种可集成采集粉尘、油雾等数据的采集工具,针对封闭式和开放式机床制定了数据采集的实验方案,采集了设备级与车间级的数据,通过对粉尘及油雾浓度与采集位置、采样时间的关系研究提出了数据获取方法。结果表明,设备级数据变化较大较快,封闭式机床应在机床门处、开放式机床应根据刀具位置布置采集点,推荐以最高浓度进行描述;而车间级数据采集应划分不同加工区域,各区域浓度相对稳定,推荐以平均浓度进行描述。研究结果可为绿色制造环境数据的获取提供可借鉴的采集设备和方案。 相似文献

Various experiments were performed to investigate the wear mechanism of cubic boron nitride (cBN) tools used for the machining of compacted graphite iron (CGI). Comparative studies for tools used to machine grey cast iron (CI) were also performed in order to find out why in this case the tool lifetime is significantly higher. Two main effects were found that are responsible for tool wear, namely: (1) oxidation of the tool, and (2) interdiffusion of constituting elements between tool and CGI. These wear mechanisms are more or less the same for the machining of CGI and grey CI. The difference in tool lifetime can be explained by the formation of a MnS layer on the tool surface in the case of grey CI. This layer is missing in the case of CGI. The MnS layer acts as a lubricant and as a diffusion barrier and is the reason for the reduced wear in the case of grey CI. 相似文献

针对机床的导轨误差问题,基于齐次变换原理建立了双导轨系统空间误差的数学模型并给出了分析方法。首先在床身上建立一个固定的参考坐标系,并在两条导轨上分别建立运动坐标系,然后分析运动坐标系6自由度误差的动态特性,最后进行双导轨空间误差的综合建模及分析。应用综合模型可以分析导轨系统误差对刀尖点的影响程度及规律,为整机误差预防及补偿提供更准确的依据。 相似文献
