建筑工人的不安全行为是造成安全事故的直接原因,且在建设现场非常普遍,迫切需要找到建筑工人不安全行为产生的原因,设计有效的管理措施以减少建筑工人的不安全行为。首先,界定两类直接导致事故的建筑工人不安全行为,分析两类不安全行为产生的认知过程,揭示不安全行为产生的认知机理。其次,以计划行为理论为理论基础,从态度、主观规范和行为控制感知三个维度,梳理"选择应对"环节失效的原因。再次,选取一个地铁工程项目,通过对建筑工人不安全行为的识别、观测和原因调研,对认知原因进行检验,结果证实:基于认知的建筑工人不安全行为原因分析思路是合理的;"选择应对"环节失效是导致建筑工人不安全行为的最主要原因。最后,针对"选择应对"环节失效的原因,提出不安全行为管理措施。 相似文献

This study was conducted to determine the most important causes of delay in public utility projects, based on the frequency and severity of the causes. A survey of randomly selected samples of contractors, consultants, and owners was carried out to assess the frequency of occurrence and the severity of impact of sixty potential delay causes. A frequency index and a severity index were determined for each cause. An importance index for each cause was then computed as the product of the frequency and severity indices. The results showed that the three parties surveyed generally agree on the importance ranking of delay causes. The causes were grouped also into six major categories of delay. The analysis showed lack of agreement among the parties on the ranking of the major categories of delay. 相似文献

The construction industry is a major player in the economy, generating both, employment and wealth. However many projects experience extensive delays and thereby exceed initial time and cost estimates. A host of causes of construction delays in residential projects were identified and classified according to Drewin’s Open Conversion System. The most common causes were evaluated by using both, the data collected in a survey conducted to residential projects consultant engineers, contractors, and owners, and interviews with senior professionals in the field. Most correspondents agreed that, financial difficulties faced by the contractor and too many change orders by the owner are the leading causes of construction delay. Major collapses of falsework during construction processes were attributed to the triggering, enabling, and procedural causes. The effects of impact and vibration during concrete pouring have often triggered the failures. Several design and construction deficiencies which existed in the components of temporary structures enabled the failures. This study shows that several procedural causes initiated the triggering and enabling causes. This paper aims to contribute to our understanding of the causes of stigma as it afflicts severely disadvantaged housing estates. It begins with a review of the literature on stigma and housing estates, identifying a lack of research and analysis of the causes of stigma specifically, yet a subtle adherence to pathological explanations. The remainder of the paper discusses evidence from a research project on stigmatised estates in the UK, identifying and counterpoising various perspectives on the causes of stigma. It concludes by offering an alternative framework for understanding the phenomenon of stigmatised estates which moves beyond pathological explanations to focus on the roles and contributions of external actors and influences. 相似文献

Flooding in urban areas can be caused by heavy rainfall, improper planning or component failures. Few studies have addressed quantitative contributions of different causes to urban flood probability. In this article, we apply probabilistic fault tree analysis for the first time to assess the probability of urban flooding as a result of a range of causes. We rank the causes according to their relative contributions. To quantify the occurrence of flood incidents for individual causes we use data from municipal call centres complemented with rainfall data and hydrodynamic model simulations. Results show that component failures and human errors contribute more to flood probability than sewer overloading by heavy rainfall. This applies not only to flooding in public areas but also to flooding in buildings. Fault tree analysis has proved useful in identifying relative contributions of failure mechanisms and providing quantitative data for risk management. 相似文献

Construction delay is considered one of the most recurring problems in the construction industry. Delays have an adverse impact on project success in terms of time, cost, quality and safety. The effects of construction delays are not confined to the construction industry only, but influence the overall economy of a country like UAE, where construction plays a major role in its development and contributes 14% to the GDP. Thus, it is essential to define the most significant causes of delay in order to avoid or minimise their impact on construction projects. A detailed questionnaire was developed and used to get input from professionals associated with the UAE construction industry. The perspective of contractors and consultants has been analysed to rank the causes of delays based on their Relative Importance Index. Contractors and consultants were in agreement on the most significant causes of delays. The research revealed that 50% of the construction projects in UAE encounter delays and are not completed on time. The top 10 most significant causes of construction delays have been identified by this research. Approval of drawings, inadequate early planning and slowness of the owners' decision‐making process are the top causes of delay in the UAE construction industry. 相似文献
