This paper is concerned with the adaptive fault-tolerant control (FTC) problem for a class of multivariable nonlinear systems with external disturbances, modeling errors and time-varying sensor faults. The bias, drift, loss of accuracy and loss of effectiveness faults can be effectively accommodated by this scheme. The dynamic surface control (DSC) technique and adaptive first-order filters are brought together to design an adaptive FTC scheme which can reduce significantly the computational burden and improve further the control performance. The adaptation laws are constructed using novel low-pass filter based modification terms which enable under high learning or modification gains to achieve robust, fast and high-accuracy estimation without incurring undesired high-frequency oscillations. It is proved that all signals in the closed-loop system are uniformly ultimately bounded and the tracking-errors can be made arbitrary close to zero. Simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed FTC method.  相似文献

In this paper, an active fuzzy fault tolerant tracking control (AFFTTC) scheme is developed for a class of multi-input multi-output (MIMO) unknown nonlinear systems in the presence of unknown actuator faults, sensor failures and external disturbance. The developed control scheme deals with four kinds of faults for both sensors and actuators. The bias, drift, and loss of accuracy additive faults are considered along with the loss of effectiveness multiplicative fault. A fuzzy adaptive controller based on back-stepping design is developed to deal with actuator failures and unknown system dynamics. However, an additional robust control term is added to deal with sensor faults, approximation errors, and external disturbances. Lyapunov theory is used to prove the stability of the closed loop system. Numerical simulations on a quadrotor are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

A sliding mode based finite-time control scheme is presented to address the problem of attitude stabilization for rigid spacecraft in the presence of actuator fault and external disturbances. More specifically, a nonlinear observer is first proposed to reconstruct the amplitude of actuator faults and external disturbances. It is proved that precise reconstruction with zero observer error is achieved in finite time. Then, together with the system states, the reconstructed information is used to synthesize a nonsingular terminal sliding mode attitude controller. The attitude and the angular velocity are asymptotically governed to zero with finite-time convergence. A numerical example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, an anti-windup incremental nonlinear dynamic inversion (INDI) fault-tolerant scheme is proposed for flying wing aircraft with actuator faults, actuator saturation and uncertainties of aerodynamic parameters. An optimal anti-windup compensator based on nonlinear partial differential inequalities is used to compensate the actuator saturation. INDI is used to control the fault system and compensate the uncertainties of the flight dynamics. Control allocation strategy is designed in consideration of the control scheme and configuration of the control surfaces. The proposed control method can guarantee the bounded tracking of the reference signals. Simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This article presents a robust finite-time maneuver control scheme for the longitudinal attitude dynamic of the aircraft with unsteady aerodynamic disturbances and input saturation. To efficiently eliminate the influence of unsteady aerodynamic disturbances, nonlinear finite-time observers are developed. Despite the existence of the nonlinearity and the coupling between aircraft states and unsteady aerodynamic disturbances, the proposed observers can still precisely estimate the unmeasurable unsteady aerodynamic disturbances in finite time. To attenuate the effect caused by input saturation, a finite-time auxiliary system is constructed. With the error between the desired control input and saturation input as the input of the auxiliary system, the additional signals are generated to compensate for the effect of input saturation. Combined with the finite-time observers and the finite-time auxiliary system, a robust finite-time backstepping attitude control design is developed. The finite-time convergence of all closed-loop system signals is rigorously proved via Lyapunov analysis method under the developed robust attitude control schemes. Finally, simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed attitude control approaches.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel adaptive-gain fast super-twisting (AGFST) sliding mode attitude control synthesis is carried out for a reusable launch vehicle subject to actuator faults and unknown disturbances. According to the fast nonsingular terminal sliding mode surface (FNTSMS) and adaptive-gain fast super-twisting algorithm, an adaptive fault tolerant control law for the attitude stabilization is derived to protect against the actuator faults and unknown uncertainties. Firstly, a second-order nonlinear control-oriented model for the RLV is established by feedback linearization method. And on the basis a fast nonsingular terminal sliding mode (FNTSM) manifold is designed, which provides fast finite-time global convergence and avoids singularity problem as well as chattering phenomenon. Based on the merits of the standard super-twisting (ST) algorithm and fast reaching law with adaption, a novel adaptive-gain fast super-twisting (AGFST) algorithm is proposed for the finite-time fault tolerant attitude control problem of the RLV without any knowledge of the bounds of uncertainties and actuator faults. The important feature of the AGFST algorithm includes non-overestimating the values of the control gains and faster convergence speed than the standard ST algorithm. A formal proof of the finite-time stability of the closed-loop system is derived using the Lyapunov function technique. An estimation of the convergence time and accurate expression of convergence region are also provided. Finally, simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

The stratosphere airship provides a unique and promising platform for earth observation. Researches on the project design and control scheme for earth observation platforms are still rarely documented. Nonlinear dynamics, model uncertainties, and external disturbances contribute to the difficulty in maneuvering the stratosphere airship. A key technical challenge for the earth observation platform is station keeping, or the ability to remain fixed over a geo-location. This paper investigates the conceptual design, modeling and station-keeping attitude control of the near-space earth observation platform. A conceptual design of the earth observation platform is presented. The dynamics model of the platform is derived from the Newton-Euler formulation, and the station-keeping control system of the platform is formulated. The station-keeping attitude control approach for the platform is proposed. The multi-input multi-output nonlinear control system is decoupled into three single-input single-output linear subsystems via feedback linearization, the attitude controller design is carried out on the new linear systems using terminal sliding mode control, and the global stability of the closed-loop system is proven by using the Lyapunov theorem. The performance of the designed control system is simulated by using the variable step Runge-Kutta integrator. Simulation results show that the control system tracks the commanded attitude with an error of zero, which verify the effectiveness and robustness of the designed control system in the presence of parametric uncertainties. The near-space earth observation platform has several advantages over satellites, such as high resolution, fast to deploy, and convenient to retrieve, and the proposed control scheme provides an effective approach for station-keeping attitude control of the earth observation platform.  相似文献

This work addresses the challenging problem of finite-time fault tolerant attitude stabilization control for the rigid spacecraft attitude control system without the angular velocity measurements, in the presence of external disturbances and actuator failures. Consider the severe circumstances with above failures and uncertainties, a novel continuous finite-time Extended State Observer is first established to observe the attitude angular velocity and the synthetic failure simultaneously. Unlike the existing observers, the finite-time methodology and Extended State Observer are utilized, to achieve the finite-time uniformly ultimately bounded stability of the attitude angular velocity and extended state observation errors. Furthermore, a novel continuous finite-time attitude controller is developed by using the nonsingular terminal sliding mode control and super-twisting method. The main feature of this work stems from our use of multiply advanced techniques or methodologies that enables the finite-time stability of the closed-loop attitude control system and the designed control scheme is continuous with the property of chattering restraining. Finally, numerical simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness and fine performances of the finite-time observer and controller for the attitude control system.  相似文献

A new design of the sliding mode control is proposed for the uncertain linear time-varying second order system. The proposed control drives system states to the target point in the minimum time with specified ranges of parametric uncertainties and disturbances, One of the advantages of the proposed control scheme is that the control inputs do not go beyond saturation limits of the actuators. The other advantage is that the minimum arrival time and the acceleration of the second order actuators system can be estimated with given parametric bounds and can be expressed in the closed form; conversely, the designer can select actuators based on the condition of the minimum arrival time to the target point. The superior performance of the proposed control scheme to other sliding mode controllers is validated by computer simulations.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust attitude and position control of a novel modified quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) which has higher drive capability as well as greater robustness against actuator faults than conventional quad-rotor UAV has been developed. A robust backstepping controller with adaptive interval type-2 fuzzy logic is proposed to control the attitude and position of the modified quadrotor under actuator faults. Besides globally stabilizing the system amid other disturbances, the insensitivity to the model errors and parametric uncertainties are the asset of the backstepping approach. The adaptive interval type-2 fuzzy logic as fault observer can effectively estimate the lumped faults without the knowledge of their bounds for the modified quadrotor UAV. Additionally, the type-2 fuzzy systems are utilized to approximate the local nonlinearities of each subsystem under actuator faults, next and in order to achieve the expected tracking performance, we used Lyapunov theory stability and convergence analysis to online adjust adaptive laws. As a result, the uniformly ultimate stability of the modified quadrotor system is proved. Finally, the performances of the proposed control method are evaluated by simulation and the results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy for the modified quadrotor in vertical flights in presence of actuator faults.  相似文献

This paper presents an adaptive chattering-free sliding mode controller for trajectory tracking of robotic manipulators in the presence of external disturbances and inertia uncertainties. To achieve fast convergence and desirable tracking precision, a second-order fast nonsingular terminal sliding mode (SOFNTSM) controller is designed to guarantee system performance and robust stability. Chattering is eliminated using continuous control law due to high-frequency switching terms contained in the first derivative of actual control signals. Meanwhile, uncertainties are compensated by introducing the adaptive technique, whose prior knowledge about upper bound is not required. Finally, simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problems of fault estimation (FE) and fault tolerant control (FTC) for fuzzy systems with local nonlinear models, external disturbances, sensor and actuator faults, simultaneously. Disturbance observer (DO) and FE observer are designed, simultaneously. Compared with the existing results, the proposed observer is with a wider application range. Using the estimation information, a novel fuzzy dynamic output feedback fault tolerant controller (DOFFTC) is designed. The controller can be used for the fuzzy systems with unmeasurable local nonlinear models, mismatched input disturbances, and measurement output affecting by sensor faults and disturbances. At last, the simulation shows the effectiveness of the proposed methods.  相似文献

The main problem addressed is the quaternion-based attitude stabilization control of rigid spacecraft without angular velocity measurements in the presence of external disturbances and reaction wheel friction as well. As a stepping stone, an angular velocity observer is proposed for the attitude control of a rigid body in the absence of angular velocity measurements. The observer design ensures finite-time convergence of angular velocity state estimation errors irrespective of the control torque or the initial attitude state of the spacecraft. Then, a novel finite-time control law is employed as the controller in which the estimate of the angular velocity is used directly. It is then shown that the observer and the controlled system form a cascaded structure, which allows the application of the finite-time stability theory of cascaded systems to prove the finite-time stability of the closed-loop system. A rigorous analysis of the proposed formulation is provided and numerical simulation studies are presented to help illustrate the effectiveness of the angular-velocity observer for rigid spacecraft attitude control.  相似文献

The fault-tolerant control problem belongs to the domain of complex control systems in which inter-control-disciplinary information and expertise are required. This paper proposes an improved faults detection, reconstruction and fault-tolerant control (FTC) scheme for motor systems (MS) with typical faults. For this purpose, a sliding mode controller (SMC) with an integral sliding surface is adopted. This controller can make the output of system to track the desired position reference signal in finite-time and obtain a better dynamic response and anti-disturbance performance. But this controller cannot deal directly with total system failures. However an appropriate combination of the adopted SMC and sliding mode observer (SMO), later it is designed to on-line detect and reconstruct the faults and also to give a sensorless control strategy which can achieve tolerance to a wide class of total additive failures. The closed-loop stability is proved, using the Lyapunov stability theory. Simulation results in healthy and faulty conditions confirm the reliability of the suggested framework.  相似文献

This article investigates the velocity-free attitude coordinated tracking control scheme for a group of spacecraft with the assumption that the angular velocities of the formation members are not available in control feedback. Initially, an angular velocity observer is constructed based on each individual's attitude quarternion. Then, the distributed attitude coordinated control law is designed by using the observed states, in which adaptive control method is adopted to handle the external disturbances. Stability of the overall closed-loop system is analyzed theoretically, which shows the system trajectory converges to a small set around origin with fast convergence rate. Numerical simulations are performed to demonstrate fast convergence and improved tracking performance of the proposed control strategy.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust nonlinear proportional–integral–derivative (PID)-like fuzzy control scheme is presented and applied to complex trajectory tracking control of a 2PRP-PPR (P-prismatic, R-revolute) planar parallel manipulator (motion platform) with three degrees-of-freedom (DOF) in the presence of parameter uncertainties and external disturbances. The proposed control law consists of mainly two parts: first part uses a feed forward term to enhance the control activity and estimated perturbed term to compensate for the unknown effects namely external disturbances and unmodeled dynamics, and the second part uses a PID-like fuzzy logic control as a feedback portion to enhance the overall closed-loop stability of the system. Experimental results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

An energy efficient approach is proposed for the walking control of bipedal robots. To compensate the ZMP error caused by model uncertainties and external disturbances, we design a new walking controller in this paper. Different from currently available control schemes for cancelling ZMP error, our newly proposed one additionally incorporates a fuzzy logic systems(FLSs) mechanism and an iterative mechanism. By employing FLSs to deduce Center of Mass(CoM) correction according to ZMP error and designing iterative mechanism to compute the optimal joint position, the newly proposed controller exhibits an excellent performance. To tackle the control difficulties arising from physical constraints of actuators and hard-to-stabilization of biped robot, an optimized control algorithm is included in the iterative mechanism to guarantee the convergence to the optimal solution. Moreover, the interval type-2 FLSs are adopted to handle the uncertainties. Finally, the experiment results are provided to validate the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

Position and attitude tracking control for a quadrotor UAV   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
A synthesis control method is proposed to perform the position and attitude tracking control of the dynamical model of a small quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), where the dynamical model is underactuated, highly-coupled and nonlinear. Firstly, the dynamical model is divided into a fully actuated subsystem and an underactuated subsystem. Secondly, a controller of the fully actuated subsystem is designed through a novel robust terminal sliding mode control (TSMC) algorithm, which is utilized to guarantee all state variables converge to their desired values in short time, the convergence time is so small that the state variables are acted as time invariants in the underactuated subsystem, and, a controller of the underactuated subsystem is designed via sliding mode control (SMC), in addition, the stabilities of the subsystems are demonstrated by Lyapunov theory, respectively. Lastly, in order to demonstrate the robustness of the proposed control method, the aerodynamic forces and moments and air drag taken as external disturbances are taken into account, the obtained simulation results show that the synthesis control method has good performance in terms of position and attitude tracking when faced with external disturbances.  相似文献

This paper addresses the high performance motion control of hydraulic actuators with parametric uncertainties, unmodeled disturbances and unknown valve dead-zone. By constructing a smooth dead-zone inverse, a robust adaptive controller is proposed via backstepping method, in which adaptive law is synthesized to deal with parametric uncertainties and a continuous nonlinear robust control law to suppress unmodeled disturbances. Since the unknown dead-zone parameters can be estimated by adaptive law and then the effect of dead-zone can be compensated effectively via inverse operation, improved tracking performance can be expected. In addition, the disturbance upper bounds can also be updated online by adaptive laws, which increases the controller operability in practice. The Lyapunov based stability analysis shows that excellent asymptotic output tracking with zero steady-state error can be achieved by the developed controller even in the presence of unmodeled disturbance and unknown valve dead-zone. Finally, the proposed control strategy is experimentally tested on a servovalve controlled hydraulic actuation system subjected to an artificial valve dead-zone. Comparative experimental results are obtained to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献
