激光微造型表面固体润滑性能研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
采用声光调Q二极管泵浦固体光源(DPSS)Nd:YAG激光器,在45#钢试样表面进行表面微造型加工。以聚酰亚胺(PI)和二硫化钼(MoS2)复合固体润滑材料作为固体润滑剂,通过两步加温固化黏结工艺成功制备微造型固体润滑试样。在MMW-1A型摩擦磨损试验机上进行光滑无润滑试样、光滑表面固体润滑试样和微造型固体润滑试样的摩擦性能对比试验,以及微造型固体润滑试样在不同转速和压力下的摩擦性能试验。结果表明,在经过激光加工的微凹坑中填充复合固体润滑材料的试样,在摩擦过程中微凹坑中填充的固体润滑材料能有效转移到在摩擦表面,补充消耗掉的润滑材料,因而表现出更好的摩擦学性能。  相似文献

Dimpled textures were prepared by using a pulse solid laser on the surface of Al-Si alloy. The combination of laser surface texturing (LST) and MoS2 solid lubricant as well as their tribological properties were investigated in this article. The obtained friction and wear data were critically analyzed to investigate how the parameters of texture influence the tribological performance of Al-Si alloy. Furthermore, morphological investigations of the transfer layers on the worn surfaces were performed and the wear mechanisms are discussed. The results show that the combination of LST and solid lubricant improves the tribological characteristics of Al-Si alloy. The friction coefficient of Al-Si alloy: steel friction pairs can be reduced to 0.15 under dry friction. The lubrication mechanism is attributed to a synergetic effect of providing solid lubricant and traps wear debris in the dimples. It was found that the optimum density of structure was 37% for excellent tribological properties.  相似文献

It has been recently identified that micro-dimples can act as fluid reservoirs and promote the retention of a lubricating film to reduce friction between mechanical components. Various techniques are employed to produce micro-dimples on the surface of friction pair. In this study, a modified through mask electrochemical micromachining (TMEMM), in which the insulation layer was directly attached to the cathode, was developed to produce micro-dimples on the hard chrome-coated surface. By controlling machining parameters, micro-dimples array, with hundreds of micrometers in diameter and several micrometers in depth, were produced. Compared with the traditional TMEMM, the modified method can both reduce cost and improve machining efficiency. Friction experiments show that the friction coefficient of the surface with appropriate micro-dimples array is obviously lower than that with nondimples.  相似文献

A theoretical model is developed to study the potential use of laser surface texturing (LST) in the form of spherical micro-dimples for soft elasto-hydrodynamic lubrication (SEHL). The model consists of mutual smooth elastomeric and LST rigid surfaces moving relatively to each other in the presence of viscous lubricant. The pressure distribution in the fluid film and the elastic deformations of the elastomer are obtained from a simultaneous solution of the Reynolds equation and the equation of elasticity for the elastomer. An extensive parametric investigation is performed to identify the main important parameters of the problem, which are the aspect ratio and area density of the dimples. The parametric analysis provides optimum parameters of the surface texturing and shows that LST effectively increases load capacity and reduces friction in SEHL.  相似文献

The solid lubricant that is coated on a flat surface is easily removed during friction. Surface texture dimples, which act as reservoirs of solid lubricant, can prolong the wear life of solid lubricant films. We textured silver-containing nickel-based alloys by a pulse laser and filled the micro-dimples with molybdenum disulfide powders. The tribological properties of the alloys were tested by rubbing against alloyed steel on a ring-on-disk tribometer at temperatures ranging from room temperature to 600°C . After laser surface texturing, the friction coefficients of the silver-containing nickel-based alloy smeared with molybdenum disulfide powders were reduced at temperatures ranging from room temperature to 400°C. With increasing dimple density, the wear life of the MoS2 film increased while the wear rate of the nickel-based alloy decreased. The wear life of the textured surface with a dimple density of 11.2% exceeded 10,000 m at room temperature. We conclude that molybdenum disulfide and its oxides stored in the micro-dimples play a role in lubrication at room temperature and high temperatures, respectively.  相似文献

Laser surface texturing (LST) is an emerging, effective method for improving the tribological performance of friction units lubricated with oil. In LST technology, a pulsating laser beam is used to create thousands of arranged microdimples on a surface by a material ablation process. These dimples generate hydrodynamic pressure between oil-lubricated parallel sliding surfaces. The impact of LST on lubricating-regime transitions was investigated in this study. Tribological experiments were carried out on pin-on-disk test apparatus at sliding speeds that ranged from 0.15 to 0.75 m/s and nominal contact pressures that ranged from 0.16 to 1.6 MPa. Two types of oil with different viscosities (54.8 cSt and 124.7 cSt at 40°C) were evaluated as lubricants. Electrical resistance between flat-pin and laser-textured disks was used to determine the operating lubrication regime. The test results showed that laser texturing expanded the range of speed-load parameters for hydrodynamic lubrication. LST also reduced the measured friction coefficients of contacts that operated under the hydrodynamic regime. The beneficial effects of laser surface texturing are more pronounced at higher speeds and loads and with higher viscosity oil.  相似文献

Abstract

In this paper, the effects of mechanical properties and test conditions on the tribological behaviour of ISO C45 carbon steel and ISO 42CrMo4 low alloy steel were studied. The tribological tests were carried out, without lubrication, on a reciprocating friction tester. Cylinder on flat contact configuration was adopted. The results showed that there is no obvious relationship between the mechanical properties and the friction ones. However, the variation in the coefficient of friction depends on the test conditions. In contrary to normal load, the effect of sliding speed on the coefficient of friction is not the same for the two steel nuances. The tribological properties are dependent, however, on the nature of wear debris.  相似文献

从三元含Mo的Cr-Mo-N、Mo-Si-N、Mo-C-N薄膜到四元Cr-Mo-Si-N、Mo-Si-C-N薄膜,综述多元系列薄膜的结构、力学及摩擦学性能的研究进展;分析在不同气体压力、制备方法与参数、不同元素含量下薄膜结构的变化,阐述薄膜结构与其力学性能和摩擦学特性的关联。指出:多元Cr-Mo-Si-C-N系列薄膜结构、硬度、摩擦因数强烈受到薄膜中Mo、Si、C、N元素含量的影响,其中力学特性还与薄膜微结构紧密相关;薄膜的摩擦学特性与晶粒生长细化和作为润滑剂的无定形基质有关;在摩擦过程中发生的摩擦化学反应也有效地提高了薄膜的耐磨性。对于四元Cr-Mo-C-N和多元Cr-Mo-Si-C-N薄膜,建议进一步研究在水润滑与非润滑的不同条件下,例如在海水或者空气干摩擦环境下,是否由于薄膜结构组分的不同而有效地形成含Mo的氧化物的自润滑膜,以提高薄膜在更多场合下的适应性和减摩性。  相似文献

In modern industries, more and more mechanical components are exposed to mixed and even boundary lubrication conditions, inducing fast wear and even scuffing of the motion systems. In order to enhance the lifetime and reliability of the motion systems, replacing metal–metal friction pairs by metal–polymer ones can be one of the most effective approaches. The present work focuses on tribological behavior of pure polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and a formulated PEEK composite lubricated with diesel and engine oil. It was demonstrated that in mixed and boundary lubrication regimes the structure of PEEK materials affect significantly the tribological performance. Formation of a tribofilm on the surface of metallic counterbody plays an important role on the tribological behavior of the PEEK-based materials.  相似文献
