Analysis and synthesis of on-chip spiral inductors 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
This paper presents a physically based compact model for estimating high-frequency performance of spiral inductors. The model accurately accounts for skin and proximity effects in the metal conductors as well as eddy current losses in the substrate. The model shows excellent agreement with measured data mostly within 10% across a variety of inductor geometries and substrate dopings up to 20 GHz. A web-based spiral inductor synthesis and analysis tool COILS, which makes use of the compact models, is presented. An optimization algorithm using binary searches speeds up the synthesis of inductor designs. 相似文献

This study investigates the ozonation of CI Reactive Black 5 (RB5) by using the rotating packed bed (RPB) and completely stirred tank reactor (CSTR) as ozone contactors. The RPB, which provides high gravitational force by adjusting the rotational speed, was employed as a novel ozone contactor. The same ozone dosage was separately introduced into either the RPB or the CSTR for the investigation, while the experimental solution was continuously circulated within the apparatus consisting of the RPB and CSTR. The decolorization and mineralization efficiencies of RB5 in the course of ozonation are compared for these two methods. Moreover, the dissolved and off‐gas ozone concentrations were simultaneously monitored for the further analysis. As a result, the ozone mass transfer rate per unit volume of the RPB was significantly higher because of its higher mass transfer coefficient and gas–liquid concentration driving force. Furthermore, ozonation kinetics was found to be independent of the gravitational magnitude of an ozone gas–liquid contactor. Therefore, the results suggest employing RPBs as ozone‐contacting devices with the advantage of volume reduction. The experimental results, which can be used for further modeling of the ozonation process in the RPB, also show the requirement of correct design for the RPB. An observer-based robust adaptive nonlinear position and speed tracking controller is developed for a permanent magnet synchronous motor with initial rotor angle uncertainty. The unknown initial rotor position is treated as a constant motor parameter in the development of the controller. An incremental encoder, which provides relative position variation of the rotor, is used along with stator current signals to achieve stable control. However, the controller does not require the knowledge of motor parameters and it only assumes friction, external disturbances, and model uncertainties are bounded. By using state observers, the measurement of acceleration and load torque, which is required usually in the nonlinear controller design with high tracking performance, is avoided. The stability of the control system and tracking convergence are guaranteed using Lyapunov theory. Finally, the stability and efficacy of the proposed drive system are verified by experimental results. 相似文献

The pH mediated intra-molecular association and inter-molecular aggregation of a range of amphiphilic poly(l-lysine iso-phthalamide) polymers have been investigated in aqueous solution over a range of pH values and concentrations. The desired functionality of these novel bioresponsive amphiphilic polymers was achieved by incorporating pendant hydrophilic carboxyl groups along the polymer backbone, via the l-lysine moiety, balanced by a degree of hydrophobicity introduced via the iso-phthaloyl moiety. Incorporation of low levels of bis-functional Cy3 (poly-Cy3) and/or Cy5 dye (poly-Cy3/5 or poly-Cy5) co-monomers in the responsive polymer backbone allowed detailed probing of the pH mediated hydrophobic association using a combination of optical spectroscopic techniques. Both steady-state fluorescence spectroscopy and fluorescence lifetime measurements of poly-Cy3 revealed a conformational transition at pH 4.5. Thus, below a critical pH the polymer collapsed into a compact globular structure (hypercoil) bringing the fluorophore molecules into close proximity with one another. This resulted in a dramatic reduction in fluorescence intensity and fluorescent lifetime in the single fluorophore systems (poly-Cy3) accompanied by a red shift in the maximum emission wavelength. Observed redshifts in the emission maxima and enhancements of fluorescent lifetimes with increasing polymer concentration suggested the formation of polymer aggregates. Fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) was measured in mixtures of single fluorophore containing poly-Cy3 (donor) and poly-Cy5 (acceptor) and dual fluorophore containing poly-Cy3 (donor)/Cy5 (acceptor) in an effort to distinguish between intra-molecular versus inter-molecular association. The layer structured zirconium phosphate(Zr P) can be intercalated with atoms, molecules, small organic groups and even polymers. The structures and properties of the Zr P intercalation compounds can be deliberately tuned, leading to promising potential applications in many fields. This article provides a brief review on the experimental results of the Zr P intercalation compounds, with the focus on the polymer/a-zirconium phosphate (α-Zr P) nano-composites.
