A fuel cell is a device that can convert chemical energy into electricity directly. Among various types of fuel cells, both polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) and direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs) can work at low temperature (<80 °C). Therefore, they can be used to supply power for commercial portable electronics such as laptop computers, digital cameras, PDAs and cell phones. The focus of this paper is to investigate the performance of a miniaturized DMFC device using a micropump to deliver fuel. The core of this micropump is a piezoelectric ring-type bending actuator and the associated nozzle/diffuser for directing fuel flow. Based on the experimental measurements, it is found that the performance of the fuel cell can be significantly improved if enough fuel flow is induced by the micropump at anode. Three factors may contribute to the performance enhancement including replenishment of methanol, decrease of diffusion resistance and removal of carbon dioxide. In comparison with conventional mini pumps, the size of the piezoelectric micropump is much smaller and the energy consumption is much lower. Thus, it is very viable and effective to use a piezoelectric valveless micropump for fuel delivery in miniaturized DMFC power systems.  相似文献

The ionospheric clutter is a time-varying,non-stationary and non-Gaussian complex clutter in the high-frequency surface-wave radar(HFSWR) system and its suppression is a daunting task.Due to the complexity of the ionospheric clutter,the single clutter suppression algorithm cannot suppress the clutter effectively.Classification of the complex ionospheric clutter according to different characteristics can improve the performance of ionospheric clutter suppression significantly.After a complete analysis of the characteristics of ionospheric clutter,this paper proposes an improved ionospheric clutter classification method based on fuzzy C-means clustering.Experimental results show that the proposed method has a better performance than the traditional algorithm in clustering the ionospheric clutter.  相似文献

针对现有LTE系统中调度算法在吞吐量、公平性及丢包率性能指标上难以取得性能平衡的问题,提出一种改进算法,在考虑用户时延的前提下还考虑了用户对资源块(RB)的利用率,从实际获得速率的角度来更精确描述用户对资源的利用能力,更加合理地分配资源.仿真结果表明,该算法的丢包率性能有很大改进,同时在吞吐量、公平性方面也有着较好表现,实现了良好的综合性能,能够更好地满足用户的QoS需求.  相似文献

针对异构网络中几乎空白子帧存在时用户接入选择和资源分配方法过于复杂的情况,以及吞吐量需求难以得到满足问题,以最大化系统总吞吐量为目标提出一种易于实现的蚁群算法.在考虑不同用户不同需求的前提下,根据微基站用户在几乎空白子帧和正常子帧时受到干扰的不同,把一个微基站划分为两个虚拟基站,将所存在的问题建模为广义分配问题进行求解,同时解决了用户接入选择和资源分配问题.仿真结果表明,所提出方法与参考文献方法及两种增强型小区干扰协调固定配置结果相比,可以有效提高系统总吞吐量,同时兼顾小区边缘用户吞吐量,实现了良好的综合性能,能够更好地满足用户需求并在实际系统中易于实现.  相似文献

目的 空间位置检索是遥感影像检索中的关键步骤,为进一步提高海量遥感影像编目数据定位检索效率,降低误检率,提出一种基于MPI和OpenMP混合编程模型对射线法进行多层次并行化实现。方法 首先完善传统射线法处理点在多边形边上以及射线与边的端点相交的情况;其次采用MPI实现基于程序层面多机并行,OpenMP实现算法层面单机多线程并行,通过开启多个线程同时处理多边形的各个点,判断它们是否在另一个多边形的内部。结果 当系统中所有节点开启线程数之和等于主节点的最佳线程数时,全局计算速度达到最佳。混合并行算法相比串行算法检索时间减少50%以上,效率更高。结论 MPI+OpenMP混合并行比普通的串行执行、单纯MPI并行或单纯OpenMP并行执行空间定位检索算法效率显著提高,这种并行方案普遍适用于集群环境下的并行程序,并且可以进一步拓展到其他图像处理算法领域。  相似文献

在CRC校验基本原理及传统串行运算的基础上,介绍了一种快速并行CRC32算法,该算法运算简单、易于硬件实现。与SATA协议结合,设计了基于SATA接口的CRC32数据校验处理模块,该模块处理速度快、输出延时小,能够达到SATA接口实时处理的要求。最后,通过Quartus II开发平台及VHDL硬件描述语言,对SATA协议中帧结构传出的数据进行了仿真,验证了此算法的正确性及优越性。  相似文献

Several goals such as improving road safety and increasing transport efficiency are being pursued in intelligent transportation systems (ITS). Wireless vehicular communication is one technology to achieve these goals. Conducting vehicular experiments on the roads is an approach to studying the effectiveness of wireless vehicular communication. However, such an approach is costly, hard-to-control (repeat), dangerous, and infeasible when many vehicles and people are involved in the field trial. In contrast, the simulation approach does not have these problems. It is a very useful approach and complements the field trial approach. This paper presents NCTUns, an open source integrated simulation platform, for wireless vehicular communication network researches. This tool tightly integrates network and traffic simulations and provides a fast feedback loop between them. Therefore, a simulated vehicle can quickly change its driving behavior such as moving speed and direction when it receives a message from the wireless vehicular communication network. This capability is required by several novel ITS applications such as active collision avoidance systems. In this paper, we present the design, implementation, validation, and performance of this tool.  相似文献

极化转换在太赫兹调制领域具有重要的研究意义和应用价值。传统的极化转换器件存在尺寸大、集成度低、损耗高、带宽窄等诸多不足。该文提出一种对称“山”型超表面共振单元结构,可用于实现反射、透射极化转换器件的设计。其中反射型器件实现了极高极化转换率的宽带线极化转换,透射型器件实现了相对带宽达135.5%的超宽带线极化转换。采用各向异性理论分析了反射型器件产生极化转换的机制,并基于多重干涉理论对共振结构阵列与金属背板构成的类F-P腔进行了计算,计算结果与仿真吻合较好。进一步使用正交线栅类F-P腔与共振结构阵列,构成透射型器件,并深入分析了共振单元结构不同部分对宽带极化转换的贡献,讨论了不同结构形成的极化转换频段间的耦合方式。研究结果为基于固定相位差的超宽带偏振极化转换器件的实现以及超表面类F-P腔应用提供了新的思路。  相似文献

A method for least-cost QoS multicast routing based on genetic simulated annealing algorithm (NGSA) is presented. Genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm are combined to improve the computing performance in this method. The chromosomes of the multicast tree are represented by tree structure coding to save the time of conversion between encoding space and solution space. A new population initialization method is used to make sure that every chromosome in initial population is reasonable multicast tree without loops. The adaptive crossover probability is used to improve the evolutionary efficiency. The simulation results show that this method has high speed of convergence and search capability. And the problem of least-cost QoS multicast routing is solved effectively.  相似文献

This article presents an approach based on state observers to identify the parameters of an unknown periodic force exerted on a mechanical system. This approach comprises two stages and can be executed in real time by using only displacement measurements. The first stage goal is the estimation of the coefficients of a Fourier series that approximates the periodic force. From the estimated coefficients, the phase and the amplitude of the signal can be simultaneously computed; and from the estimated force, in a second stage, the frequencies of the signal can be estimated. To perform the tasks at each stage, two state observers were designed. To show the applicability of the proposed approach, the reconstruction of a wave force affecting a marine structure as well as the computation of the amplitude and phase of its spectral components was taken as case of study. The performance of the state observer was examined by means of simulations and off-line tests carried out with experimental data. Such data were obtained by executing laboratory tests and measuring waves in the Caribbean sea.  相似文献
