Industrial processing of livestock, poultry and fish produces a large amount of waste in a solid or liquid form that can either be destroyed or be used to make compost, biogas or other low-added value products. However, the by-products from animal processing industries have a potential for conversion into useful products of higher value, such as protein hydrolysates, with interesting applications in animal feed. Low amounts of animal protein hydrolysates included in aqua-feeds may enhance growth rate and feed conversion of farmed fish and crustacean. Animal protein hydrolysates may also be incorporated in diets to enhance the nonspecific immunity of fish. As well, these hydrolysates can be used as a good source of amino acids for newly weaned animals. Protein hydrolysates from animal by-products including antimicrobials, antioxidants, opioid-like and/or other interesting bioactive molecules have promising and interesting applications on companion and production animals. By-products from animal processing industries are therefore a promising source of bioactive peptides of considerable interest for animal care, always within the framework of the existing legislation. Possible drawbacks and future trends of the use of animal by-products and/or production of protein hydrolysates from those materials are also discussed.  相似文献

Viscose-based activated carbon fibers (VACFs) were treated by a dielectric-barrier discharge plasma at different conditions. Nitrogen was used as the feed gas to create nitrogen radicals. The textural characteristics were analyzed by SEM, BET and XRD. The surface chemical functional groups were analyzed by XPS. The results show that after nitrogen plasma modification (NPM), the external surface of the VACFs was etched and became rougher, the surface area and pore volume decreased, the average micropore width barely changed, the PSD of the VACF became narrower and the graphitic crystallites of VACF had been destroyed slightly. XPS revealed that NPM could remarkably change the distribution of the oxygen functional groups on the VACFs surface and there were more nitrogen atoms incorporated into the aromatic ring. A tentative explanation for the modification process is proposed.  相似文献

2D-to-3D conversion that would be a solution of the lack of 3D contents has been a worthy and challenging research field. In this paper, we propose a computer interactive conversion method to capture components which is used to generate 3D sequences. First, we divide the key frame into foreground and background, and then label the objects by convenient computer interactive operation. Depth information of objects is labeled after segmentation. Second, we use object tracking technique which synthesizes the advantages of kernel-based mean shift tracker and contour tracker to accomplish object depth capture for non-key frame. Finally, all the 3D information is prepared to render 3D sequences. After all, we propose our future work direction: a 2D-to-3D system which can generate 3D sequence interactively.  相似文献

A surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor was used to determine the recombinant group 1 house dust mite allergen (rDer f1) in both HBS-EP buffer and fetal bovine serum (FBS). The monoclonal antibody was immobilized onto the CM5 sensor chip surface using an amine coupling method. The procedures of antibody immobilization and the subsequent primary and enhanced immunoassay were monitored in real time. The sensitivity for rDer f1 detection was remarkably improved by using intact polyclonal antibody as signal amplifying agent. Using this signal enhanced SPR immunosensor, rDer f1 in HBS-EP buffer and FBS was detected at a concentration of 15.4 and 32.1 ng/ml, respectively. The result demonstrates that SPR biosensor is a simple and reliable method for allergen detection.  相似文献

Incorporating biomolecules into metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) as exoskeletons to form biomolecules-MOFs biohybrids has attracted great attention as an emerging class of advanced materials. Organic devices have been shown as powerful platforms for next-generation bioelectronics, such as wearable biosensors, tissue engineering constructs, and neural interfaces. Herein, biomolecules-incorporated MOFs as innovative gating module is realized for the first time, which is exemplified by biocatalytic precipitation (BCP)-oriented horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-embedded zeolitic imidazolate framework-90 (HRP@ZIF-90)/CdIn2S4 gated organic photoelectrochemical transistor under light illumination. In connection to a sandwich immunocomplexing targeting the model analyte human IgG, the IgG-dependent generation of H2O2 and the tandem HRP-triggered BCP reaction can cause the in situ blocking of the pore network of ZIF-90, leading to variant gating effect with corresponding responses of the device. This representative biodetection achieved good analytical performance with a wide linear range and a low detection limit of 100 fg mL−1. In the view of the plentiful biomolecule-MOF complexes and their potential interactions with organic systems, this study provides a proof-of-concept study for the generic development of biomolecules-MOFs-gated electronics and beyond.  相似文献

We present a robust object tracking algorithm that handles spatially extended and temporally long object occlusions. The proposed approach is based on the concept of “object permanence” which suggests that a totally occluded object will re-emerge near its occluder. The proposed method does not require prior training to account for differences in the shape, size, color or motion of the objects to be tracked. Instead, the method automatically and dynamically builds appropriate object representations that enable robust and effective tracking and occlusion reasoning. The proposed approach has been evaluated on several image sequences showing either complex object manipulation tasks or human activity in the context of surveillance applications. Experimental results demonstrate that the developed tracker is capable of handling several challenging situations, where the labels of objects are correctly identified and maintained over time, despite the complex interactions among the tracked objects that lead to several layers of occlusions.  相似文献
