The network reconfiguration is an important stage of restoring a power system after a complete blackout or a local outage. Reasonable planning of the network reconfiguration procedure is essential for rapidly restoring the power system concerned. An approach for evaluating the importance of a line is first proposed based on the line contraction concept. Then, the interpretative structural modeling (ISM) is employed to analyze the relationship among the factors having impacts on the network reconfiguration. The security and speediness of restoring generating units are considered with priority, and a method is next proposed to select the generating unit to be restored by maximizing the restoration benefit with both the generation capacity of the restored generating unit and the importance of the line in the restoration path considered. Both the start-up sequence of generating units and the related restoration paths are optimized together in the proposed method, and in this way the shortcomings of separately solving these two issues in the existing methods are avoided. Finally, the New England 10-unit 39-bus power system and the Guangdong power system in South China are employed to demonstrate the basic features of the proposed method.  相似文献

Furthering G. W. Allport's (1954) contentions for optimal contact, the authors introduce a new construct: the perceived importance of contact. They propose that perceived importance is the best proximal predictor of contact's reduction of prejudice. If individuals have opportunities for contact at work or in the neighborhood, their chances to have intergroup acquaintances and friends increase. Intergroup contact among acquaintances and friends can be perceived as more or less important, which in turn determines intergroup evaluations. A 1st study shows that the new measure of perceived importance is indeed distinct from established quantity and quality indicators. The results are cross-validated in a 2nd study that also sheds light on the meaning of importance. In 3rd and 4th studies, structural equation analyses and a meta-analysis support the hypotheses. Importance sampling is a technique that is commonly used to speed up Monte Carlo simulation of rare events. However, little is known regarding the design of efficient importance sampling algorithms in the context of queueing networks. The standard approach, which simulates the system using an a priori fixed change of measure suggested by large deviation analysis, has been shown to fail in even the simplest network settings. Estimating probabilities associated with rare events has been a topic of great importance in queueing theory, and in applied probability at large. In this article, we analyse the performance of an importance sampling estimator for a rare event probability in a Jackson network. This article carries out strict deadlines to a two-node Jackson network with feedback whose arrival and service rates are modulated by an exogenous finite state Markov process. We have estimated the probability of network blocking for various sets of parameters, and also the probability of missing the deadline of customers for different loads and deadlines. We have finally shown that the probability of total population overflow may be affected by various deadline values, service rates and arrival rates.  相似文献

为改善蝙蝠算法求解高维函数优化问题的全局搜索能力,提高其搜索精度,将交叉熵方法和蝙蝠算法相结合,提出一种交叉熵蝙蝠算法。该算法将基于重要度抽样和Kullback-Leibler距离的交叉熵全局随机优化算法应用于蝙蝠算法中,采用自适应平滑技术提高算法的收敛速度,利用交叉熵方法的遍历性、自适应性和鲁棒性,有效抑制蝙蝠算法的早熟收敛现象。对经典测试函数和CEC2005测试函数的仿真结果表明,该算法具有全局搜索能力强、求解精度高和鲁棒性好等特性。  相似文献

A simple and effective content-aware image resizing method is proposed based on the row / column merging and improved importance diffusion,which preserves the important regions in an image as well as the global visual effect. By repeatedly merging two rows / columns into one row / column or inserting a new row /column between two rows / columns, this method realizes image-resolution reduction and expansion. The importance of the merged row / column is promoted and diffused to four rows / columns around the merged one,which is to avoid the unwanted image distortions resulted from excessively merging of un-important regions. In addition,the proposed method introduces the direction of gradient vector in the low-pass filter to reduce the interference caused by complex texture background and protect important content better. Furthermore,according to human mechanics principles,different weights are given to the row and column direction components of gradient vectors which can obtain better global visual effect. Experimented results show that the proposed method satisfied in not only visual effect but also objective evaluation.  相似文献
