(<Emphasis Type="Italic">Z,Z</Emphasis>)-6,9-Heneicosadien-11-One: Major Sex Pheromone Component Of Painted Apple Moth, <Emphasis Type="Italic">Teia anartoides</Emphasis>

(Z, Z)-6,9-Heneicosadien-11-one (Z6Z9-11-one-21Hy) was identified as the major sex pheromone component of the painted apple moth (PAM), Teia anartoides (Lepidoptera: Lymantriidae), on the basis of (1) comparative gas chromatographic-electroantennographic detection (GC-EAD) analyses, GC-mass spectrometry (MS), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-MS, and HPLC-UV/visible spectroscopy of pheromone gland extracts and authentic standards; (2) GC-EAD analyses of effluvia of calling females; and (3) wind tunnel and field trapping experiments with a synthetic standard. In field experiments in Australia, synthetic Z6Z9-11-one-21Hy as a single component attracted male moths. Wind tunnel experiments suggested that a 4-component blend consisting of Z6Z9-11-one-21Hy, (6Z,9R,10S)-cis-9,10-epoxy-heneicosene (Z6-9R10S-epo-21Hy), (E, E)-7,9-heneicosadien-6,11-dione (E7E9-6,11-dione-21Hy), and 6-hydroxy-(E, E)-7,9-heneicosadien-11-one (E7E9-6-ol-11-one-21Hy) (all present in pheromone gland extracts) might induce more males to orient toward, approach, and contact the source than did Z6Z9-11-one-21Hy as a single component. Additional experiments are needed to determine conclusively whether or not Z6-9R10S-epo-21Hy, E7E9-6,11-dione-21Hy, and E7E9-6-ol-11-one-21Hy might be minor sex pheromone components of PAM. Moreover, attractiveness of synthetic pheromone and virgin PAM females needs to be compared to determine whether synthetic pheromone could replace PAM females as trap baits in the program to monitor eradication of exotic PAM in New Zealand.     

An investigation for determining the optimum length of chopsticks

Chopsticks are one of the most simple and popular hand tools ever invented by humans, but have not previously been investigated by ergonomists. Two laboratory studies were conducted in this research, using a randomised complete block design, to evaluate the effects of the length of the chopsticks on the food-serving performance of adults and children. Thirty-one male junior college students and 21 primary school pupils served as subjects for the experiment. The results showed that the food-pinching performance was significantly affected by the length of the chopsticks, and that chopsticks of about 240 and 180 mm long were optimal for adults and pupils, respectively. Based on these findings, the researchers suggested that families with children should provide both 240 and 180 mm long chopsticks. In addition, restaurants could provide 210 mm long chopsticks, considering the trade-offs between ergonomics and cost.

SBC120防水卷材在厨卫间防水工程中的应用技术

西安某住宅楼为6层砖混结构．建筑面积7800m^2。该工程厨房、卫生间防水层原设计为涂料类防水材料．后改为卷材类防水材料,经论证,采用SBC120聚乙烯丙纶防水卷材铺贴,聚氨酯防水涂膜收口、封边、涂刷管根等部位（处理宽度10cm,刮涂两遍）。该工程入住一年未发现一处渗漏水,效果较好,解决了厨卫防水的问题。

旋涡辅助-柱前衍生-气相色谱-串联质谱法测定木砧板及木筷子中的五氯酚

目的建立旋涡辅助-柱前衍生-气相色谱-串联质谱(GC-MS/MS)法测定木砧板及木筷子中五氯酚的方法。方法加入硫酸溶液,使五氯酚钠转化为分子态的五氯酚,以乙酸乙酯-正己烷混合溶剂(2∶8,V/V)萃取,浓硫酸净化,加入乙酸酐吡啶溶液衍生。采用HP-5MS色谱柱(30 m×0.25 mm,0.25μm)进行分离,GC-MS-MS多反应监测(MRM)测定。结果在0～200μg/L范围内,五氯酚具有良好的线性关系(r=0.999 8),检出限为0.2μg/kg,定量限为0.7μg/kg。在高、中、低3个浓度水平下,平均加标回收率为90.0%～103.6%,相对标准偏差(RSD)为1.5%～3.6%(n=6)。结论本方法具有准确性高、灵敏度高、快速等特点,适用于木砧板及木筷子中五氯酚的准确检测。
