A new online iterative algorithm for solving the H control problem of continuous‐time Markovian jumping linear systems is developed. For comparison, an available offline iterative algorithm for converging to the solution of the H control problem is firstly proposed. Based on the offline iterative algorithm and a new online decoupling technique named subsystems transformation method, a set of linear subsystems, which implementation in parallel, are obtained. By means of the adaptive dynamic programming technique, the two‐player zero‐sum game with the coupled game algebraic Riccati equation is solved online thereafter. The convergence of the novel policy iteration algorithm is also established. At last, simulation results have illustrated the effectiveness and applicability of these two methods. Analysis and synthesis of attractive quantum Markovian dynamics   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
We propose a general framework for investigating a large class of stabilization problems in Markovian quantum systems. Building on the notions of invariant and attractive quantum subsystem, we characterize attractive subspaces by exploring the structure of the invariant sets for the dynamics. Our general analysis results are exploited to assess the ability of open-loop Hamiltonian and output-feedback control strategies to synthesize Markovian generators which stabilize a target subsystem, subspace, or pure state. In particular, we provide an algebraic characterization of the manifold of stabilizable pure states in arbitrary finite-dimensional Markovian systems, that leads to a constructive strategy for designing the relevant controllers. Implications for stabilization of entangled pure states are addressed by example.  相似文献

This paper considers a class of stochastic systems referred to as stochastic switched systems of neutral type with time‐varying delay, which combines switched systems with neutral stochastic systems. The systems consist of subsystems of two forms: (i) only stable subsystems and (ii) both stable subsystems and unstable subsystems. By establishing an integral inequality, the exponential stability in pth(p≥1)‐moment for such systems with only stable subsystems is first considered. Then, by using an average dwell time approach, the exponential stability in pth(p≥1)‐moment for the second form is addressed. An important finding of this study is that when the average dwell time is chosen to be sufficiently large and the total activation time of unstable subsystems is relatively small compared with that of stable subsystems, the exponential stability in pth(p≥1)‐moment for such systems can be guaranteed. Two major advantages of these new results are that the differentiability or continuity of the delay function is not required compared with the existing results in the literature, and the proposed approaches can be used to consider the case when the neutral item and the stochastic perturbation are simultaneously presented. This article provides certain fairly rigorous, although still heuristic, methods for identifying the functional components of systems in such a way as to facilitate making relationships between the components and the overall system. Based on the definitions of function commonly used, making such a relationship is not always as easy as it could be made. Specific matters discussed herein include the following: functions and objectives-oriented thinking; logical versus physical thinking; functional outputs versus functional objectives; functional objectives versus system mission; directness of relationship to an objective; relationships between multiple functional objectives; distinguishing specific objectives within more general ones; the need to develop a consistent set of terms; etc.  相似文献

A three-dimensional dynamic model for calculating the ground-borne vibrations generated by harmonic loads applied on the interior floor of a double-deck circular tunnel is developed. The response of the system is obtained coupling the interior floor subsystem and the tunnel-soil subsystem in the wavenumber-frequency domain. The interior floor is modeled as a thin plate of infinite length in the train circulation direction and the tunnel-soil system is described using the Pipe in Pipe model. Some numerical instabilities of the resulting expressions are overcome by using analytic approximations. The results show that the dynamic behavior of the interior floor clearly influences the magnitude of the coupling loads acting on the tunnel structure. The soil response to a harmonic load acting on the double-deck tunnel is compared to the one obtained for the case of a simple tunnel finding significant differences between them for the whole range of frequencies studied. The proposed model extends the prediction of train-induced vibrations using computationally efficient models to this type of tunnel structure.  相似文献

Abstract

In this paper, the programming and computer subroutines of wood drying process (WDP) are studied. This WDP is represented by the set of non-linear partial differential equations which are decomposed into fast and slow subsystems. Moreover, a few procedures have been used to estimate piecewise linear parameters and to reconstruct the real parameter distributions along the drying kiln. Hierarchical model-based predictive control of a power plant portfolio   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
One of the main difficulties in large-scale implementation of renewable energy in existing power systems is that the production from renewable sources is difficult to predict and control. For this reason, fast and efficient control of controllable power producing units – so-called “portfolio control” – becomes increasingly important as the ratio of renewable energy in a power system grows. As a consequence, tomorrow's “smart grids” require highly flexible and scalable control systems compared to conventional power systems. This paper proposes a hierarchical model-based predictive control design for power system portfolio control, which aims specifically at meeting these demands.The design involves a two-layer hierarchical structure with clearly defined interfaces that facilitate an object-oriented implementation approach. The same hierarchical structure is reflected in the underlying optimisation problem, which is solved using Dantzig–Wolfe decomposition. This decomposition yields improved computational efficiency and better scalability compared to centralised methods.The proposed control scheme is compared to an existing, state-of-the-art portfolio control system (operated by DONG Energy in Western Denmark) via simulations on a real-world scenario. Despite limited tuning, the new controller shows improvements in terms of ability to track reference production as well as economic performance.  相似文献

This paper studies the fault detection problem for switched systems with all modes unstable. In this paper, we convert the fault detection filters design problem into the H performance study. First, employing the average dwell time approach, a switching signal ensuring the stability property is acquired. Then, through discretized Lyapunov function method, a novel Lyapunov function is put forward. In addition, sufficient conditions are presented to get the H performance in terms of LMIs. It should be mentioned that the parameters of the fault detection filters can be gained through solving the LMIs, utilizing the Schur's lemma. Finally, an example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, a new performance index is proposed for switched systems. The new performance index can be viewed as the mixed weighted and passivity performance. This new performance index covers the weighted performance and the passivity performance as special cases. Based on this new performance index, the weighted filtering problem and the passive filtering problem of linear switched systems with unstable subsystems are solved in a unified framework. The states of the filtering error system constructed by the augmentation technique will be divergent when unstable subsystems are activated. To overcome this problem, a set of mode‐dependent filters of a Luenberger‐like observer type is constructed. The multiple Lyapunov function approach and the average dwell‐time technique are employed to solve the mixed filtering problem. New sufficient conditions for the existence of mixed and passive filters are developed, which ensure the filtering error system to be asymptotically stable with a prescribed mixed and passivity performance index. Moreover, the desired mixed and passive filters can be constructed by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, numerical examples are given to demonstrate the applicability and advantage of the obtained results.  相似文献
