Superconductivity and magnetism in niobium doped YBa2Cu3O7 Related high Tc ceramics

Magnetic characterization has been performed on the members of the cuprateniobate RBa₂Cu₂NbO₈ (R = Pr, Nd, and La) series and R_1.5Ce_0.5Sr₂Cu₂NbO₁₀ (R = Pr, Eu, Nd, and Sm) series. The PrBCNO samples show a signature in the magnetization of a magnetic ordering at 12K. The PrCSCNO sample is nonsuperconducting and shows two distinct orderings at 17K and 53K. No such magnetic phase transition is observed down to 2K in the Nd and La based RBCNO materials or the Nd, Sm, and Eu based RCSCNO materials. Measurements of the lower critical field curve, dc irreversibility line, and critical curent densities are reported for each of the superconducting NdCSCNO, SmCSCNO, and EuCSCNO compounds.     

新一代高强韧性WDL系列钢综合性能及应用

本文着重介绍武汉钢铁公司近年来研制开发的第二代高强度低合金钢—高强韧性WDL系列钢的综合性能及应用情况。该钢具有优异的焊接性能和低温韧性,板厚≤50mm钢板焊前不预热或稍加预热而不产生焊接裂纹,是制造大型压力容器（特别是低温和常温球罐）、水电站压力钢管和水轮机蜗壳、高寒地区使用的大型工程机械、大跨度桥梁及海上采油平台等装备的理想用材。     

Structural and magnetic properties of Co1+ySnyFe2-2y-xCrxO4 ferrite system

The samples of the series Co_1+ySn_yFe_{2- 2y- x}Cr_xO₄ ferrites with x = 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 and y = 0.05, were prepared by the usual double sintering ceramic technique. The single- phase spinel structure of the samples was confirmed by using X- ray diffractometry technique. The lattice parameter ’a’ with an accuracy of ± 0.002 Å were determined using Bragg peaks of XRD pattern. The lattice parameter ’a’ decreases with concentration, x, which is due to the difference in the ionic radii of Cr³⁺ and Fe³⁺ ions. The X- ray intensity calculations were carried out in order to determine the possible cation distribution amongst tetrahedral (A) and octahedral [B] sites. The X- ray intensity calculations show Cr³⁺ ions occupying B site. The saturation magnetization, σ_s, and magneton number, n_B (the saturation magnetization per formula unit), measured at 300 K determined from high field hysteresis loop technique decrease with increase in concentration, x, suggesting a decrease in ferrimagnetic behaviour. Thermal variation of low field a.c. susceptibility measurements from room temperature to about 800 K exhibits almost normal ferrimagnetic behaviour and the Curie temperature, T_C determined from a.c. susceptibility data decreases with increase in x.

     

渗铝304不锈钢不同实验方法的SCC敏感性评价

采用恒载荷试验方法及慢应变速率试验(SSRT)方法研究了渗铝304奥氏体不锈钢在沸腾42％MgCl2溶液中的应力腐蚀破裂(SCC)性能，分析了渗铝不锈钢SCC机理，讨论了不同试验方法对渗铝不锈钢SCC敏感性评价的影响．试验表明：渗铝处理可明显提高304钢抗SCC性能，其机理为渗铝层的环境遮断作用及对基体的电化学保护作用．两种方法在评价各种渗铝钢材料SCC性能方面有统一性：恒载荷试验中SCC敏感性指标σth高的材料，SSRT中SCC敏感性指标δi也相对较高．但两种方法中渗铝试样的断口形态表现出差异：恒载荷试验为穿晶型SCC断口，而SSRT无SCC断口特征，为韧性断口。     

Tween-60+Span-80/异戊醇/环己烷微乳液法制备纳米Fe3O4

采用W/O型Tween-60 Span-80/异戊醇/环己烷微乳液作为"微反应器"合成纳米磁性Fe3O4粒子。研究结果表明纳米Fe3O4粒子磁化率均随着反应温度、pH、铁离子的浓度比例ω(=[Fe2 ]/[Fe3 ])的增大先增大后减小;最优的制备条件为反应温度30℃、ω=1.2:2、pH=11。最优条件下制备的纳米Fe3O4粒子AFM图片表明所得纳米Fe3O4为均匀分散的球形微粒,平均粒径为70nm。     

Magnetic Behavior of Trinuclear Vanadium(II)–Diamine Complexes. Part 2. Large Intramolecular Antiferromagnetic Exchange Interactions in a Triangular Unit

This study reports the magnetic structures of newly reported trinuclear vanadium(II)–diamine complexes. Using the isotropic Heisenberg exchange Hamiltonian, it is suggested that there are strong intramolecular antiferromagnetic interactions among the vanadium(II) ions. It is also suggested that these complexes are good candidates to the geometrically frustrated systems. For part 1 see A. Bayri, J. Inorg. Organomet. Polym. Antiferromagnetic Exchange Interactions. Part 1. Newly Reported Nickel(II) Complex of the Antiprine Schiff Base of 3-Formylsalicylic Acid

This study reports the magnetic properties of newly reported nickel(II) complex of the antiprine Schiff base of 3-formylsalicylic acid. Using the isotropic magnetic interaction model it is suggested that there is a strong antiferromagnetic interactions between metal centers in dimeric units. It is also suggested that the system become demagnetized below a certain temperature. An erratum to this article can be found at     

Phase Transformations in Low-Fe Alloys of the Al-Cu-Fe System

Microstructure and phase transformation in the Al-Cu-Fe alloys of the approximate compositional range of 20-50 at.% Cu and 2 - 10 Fe at.% have been investigated from samples quenched from their respective temperatures by means of different thermal analysis, magnetothermal analysis, scanning electron microscopy, electron probe analysis and powder X-ray diffraction. Representative phase transformations categorized as polymorphic, discontinuous precipitation,quasi-binary eutectoid, and ternary transitional U-type phase transformation are presented. These phase transformations were found to have a common feature which consumes the β phase and appears the φ phase. A schematic diagram was proposed to demonstrate the transition processes with decreasing temperature.     

Oblique Y-groove cracking test of the welding cold cracking susceptibility of domestic X-70 pipeline steel

“Gas Transmitting From West to East Project“ is significant.it should ensure the welding quality and safety of pipeline.The task is very arduous to guarantee the quality of the projcet in the condition of long line.complex weather and geolgy features.in this paper,the welding cold cracking susceptibility of domestic X-70 pipeline steel adopted by the project, which is one of the most interesting questions of welding quality about petrol pipeline,was studied by means of oblique Ygroove cracking test.The crack ration of surface and section was tested under the conditions of different welding materials and preheat temperature.The thickness of plate stell was 14.7mm and 10.3mm.The results reveal that X-70 pipeline steel has good crack resistance.The research has important value for the construction of large-scale pipeline engineering and the application of domestic X-70 pipeline steel.
