Monitored variables in biomass combustion devices, such as emissions or temperature, are usually characterized by their averaged values over the entire process, although they tend to present a pulsating behavior. This assumption induces instantaneous errors when experimental data are used in numerical simulation. The interest in obtaining high‐quality experimental information for a proper model validation leads to find an alternative to describe them and to discern which operating variables are the main ones responsible for those fluctuations. The application of frequency‐domain tools, such as coherence, is proposed as a useful solution for determining if the emission and temperature profiles are intrinsically related to any known periodical signal, such as the feeding cycle.  相似文献

Engineering of manufacturing systems is one of the most important aspects within the life cycle of manufacturing systems in terms of cost. Within the engineering process, several engineering activities are executed by different experts commonly using specific tools for the design of the different parts of the system. To reduce engineering costs beneath, two main approaches arise. The first is based on the use of libraries of mechatronical units as reusable artifacts. In this case, manufacturing systems are represented as a hierarchy of mechatronic units. The second option is to achieve the seamless connection of the different engineering tools exploiting a common data exchange format. This latter approach allows avoiding both double engineering and faults within the engineering process. Within this paper, a novel approach combining both options is proposed, and its effects are analyzed through an example. It considers the application of mechatronical units within the engineering process of manufacturing systems as well as a common data exchange format for the logic information required for designing the control system within the engineering of manufacturing systems. The latter provides a data exchange format for the overall engineering process, including not only model information exchange but also its embedding. This paper discusses the benefits of the data exchange format for logic models in detail.  相似文献

This study describes pentachlophenol (PCP) sorption in nylon fiber in which Rhizopus oryzae ENHE was immobilized to remove the chemical compound. The experimental sorption data were analyzed using the Langmuir, Freundlich, and Redlich-Peterson isotherm models using non-linear error functions to fit the experimental data to the three models. Results showed that the isotherm obtained from the data fitted the three models used. However, the g parameter from Redlich-Peterson model showed that the isotherm obtained approaches the Freundlich model. This support reached the sorption equilibrium concentration at 3mg PCPg(-1)nylon. To study PCP removal capability by R. oryzae ENHE and to eliminate the error caused by PCP sorbed by the nylon fiber during its quantification, nylon fiber at PCP equilibrium sorption concentration was used to immobilize R. oryzae ENHE. It was found that this fungus grew within nylon fiber cubes in presence or not of PCP, even when PCP caused growth inhibition. Maximum biomass accumulated into nylon cubes without PCP was of 32 mg biomass g(-1)nylon and into nylon cubes at PCP equilibrium concentration was of 18 mg g(-1)nylon. The results showed that R. oryzae ENHE immobilized into nylon fiber removed 88.6% and 92% of PCP in cultures with 12.5 and 25 mg PCPL(-1), as initial concentration, respectively. This is the first work to report that a zygomycete, such as R. oryzae ENHE, immobilized into nylon fiber kept its potential to remove PCP.  相似文献

In the present work, on the basis of literature data, correlations for ultrasound-assisted dissolution of lignin and hemicelluloses from lignocellulosic raw material were defined in Aspen Plus® as function of applied power and duration of the ultrasound treatment. The dissolution yield of these biomass components was represented against the applied acoustic energy, taking into account the volume of solvent–solid treated in each case, making possible the calculation of ultrasonic power consumption in a simulated biorefinery pretreatment process. The proposed ultrasound-assisted process was techno-economically evaluated in terms of process yield and utility requirements. Furthermore, energy and exergy analyses were performed in order to assess the profitability of the simulated ultrasound-assisted biomass fractionation processes.  相似文献

Lignin, a cell wall component, limits digestibility of plant cell walls. Brown midrib (bmr) mutants of forages have lignin with altered chemical composition compared with their normal counterparts. The objectives of this study were to determine if bmr lignin is more inhibitory to digestion than is normal lignin and if bmr has a consistent effect on rate of digestion across species and environments. Extent and rate of in-vitro cell wall digestion of normal and bmr stems of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L) Moench, two comparisons), millet (Pennisetum americanum (L) Leeke) and maize (Zea mays L, two comparisons) were determined. Samples were incubated in rumen fluid, and data were fitted with a first-order, nonlinear model to estimate concentrations of potentially digestible neutral detergent fibre (PDNDF), digestion rate of PDNDF, concentration of indigestible residue (IR), and lag time before digestion. The NDF, acid-detergent fibre (ADF), and acid-detergent lignin (ADL) analyses were conducted sequentially on undigested samples. The IR: ADL ratio was 37% greater for bmr than for normal plants, which indicates that bmr lignin inhibits digestion more than normal lignin per unit of lignin. Digestion rate of PDNDF was faster in bmr than in normal counterparts in one of the two sorghum comparisons (difference of 59%) and in the millet comparison (difference of 27%), but in neither maize comparison. The bmr mutants were lower than normal genotypes in NDF (9%) and ADL (47%) concentrations. The PDNDF concentration was 19% greater for bmr than for normal lines. Thus, decreased lignin concentration in bmr mutants increased the extent of NDF digestion but did not consistently increase the rate of digestion.  相似文献

Mamey sapote (Pouteria sapota (Jacq.) H. E. Moore & Stearn) is a tropical species from the Sapotaceae family native to Mexico and Central America. Its tree produces an edible climacteric fruit, whose weight can range from 250 to 900 g. The flesh is soft, comprises about 78% of the fruit, and has high sugars to acidity ratio, which gives it a sweet taste when ripe. Because of current public interest to consume products that promote health, the aim of the work was to characterize soluble phenolic content and antioxidant activity in mamey sapote fruits from Chiapas, Mexico, at different maturity stages. Storage at 12 (± 1) °C was conducted for 18 d. When fruits ripened firmness flesh varied, in average, from 41.8 to 3.0 N, soluble solids content from 17.7 to 28.1 ºBrix, hue angle from 56.4 to 46.3º, and lightness from 67.3 to 42.0. Phenolic content was affected by ripening since average values of 2563 and 234 ??g/g were found in unripe and consumption maturities, respectively. In a soluble phenolics extract from flesh, gallic acid (GA), gallocatechin-3-gallate (G3G), epicatechin (ECT), and catechin (C) were found, being the latter the most abundant compound, which increased with ripening from 9.9 to 113.1 ??g/g, while GA, G3G, and ECT had average values of 4.7, 11.9, and 5.8 ??g/g, respectively, without significant variation. Antioxidant activity, expressed through the IC50 parameter, remained practically unchanged and showed an average value of 12.9 ??g/mL. Based on phenolic composition the mamey sapote fruit may constitute a good source of antioxidant compounds.  相似文献

Kinetics of electron transfer of the Cu(I)/Cu(II) redox couple at a platinum electrode has been studied with chronoamperometry, cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy in a deep eutectic solvent consisting of choline chloride and ethylene glycol. At 25 °C, the reaction was found to be quasi-reversible with a relatively high rate constant k0 of 9.5 ± 2 × 10−4 cm s−1, and a charge transfer coefficient α of 0.25 ± 0.05. Diffusion coefficients for the Cu(I) and Cu(II) complexes were determined to be 2.7 ± 0.1 × 10−7 and 1.5 ± 0.1 × 10−7 cm2 s−1, respectively. The viscosity of the electrolyte was 41 ± 3 mPa s. The temperature dependency was also investigated. The activation energy of mass transfer was found to be 27.7 ± 1 kJ mol−1 and that of electron transfer 39 ± 7 kJ mol−1. Speciation of the Cu(I) and Cu(II) complexes was determined using UV–VIS spectroscopy, and the prevailing Cu(I) complex was found to be [CuCl3]2− and that of Cu(II) [CuCl4]2−.  相似文献

Modifications of dietary fibre in beetroot during autoclaving have been evaluated by different methods: acid detergent (raw=1.45%; processed=1.17%) and neutral detergent (raw=2.30%; processed=2.00%), the enzymatic-gravimetric method of Asp (raw=3.35%; processed=3.34%), HPLC (raw=1.42%; processed=1.60%) and 3,5-dimethylphenol (raw=0.36; processed=0.28%). The correlation between different methodologies was studied. Autoclaving was carried out at 121°C under pressure for 15 min. Variance analysis indicated that quantitative variations originating in the thermic treatment were not statistically significant (P>0.05).  相似文献
