Use of different sensing materials and deposition techniques for thin-film sensors to increase sensitivity and selectivity 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The performances of metal oxide semiconducting materials used as gas-sensing detectors depend strongly on their structural and morphological properties. The average grain size has been proved to play a prominent role and better sensor performances were found in polycrystalline films where the grain size is few tens of nm or smaller. On the other hand, thermal treatments during thin-film deposition and/or sample postprocessing could lead to a grain coalescence, thus decreasing the conductivity of the sensing film. Avoiding such a phenomenon, still keeping optimized processing conditions, will increase the sensor performances, maintaining the resistivity at acceptable values. In this work, new gas-sensing materials and new thin-film deposition procedures have been investigated. Aiming to preserve the sensitivity, to enhance selectivity and to reduce the drift, thin films of WO/sub 3/ and CrTiO/sub 3/ deposited by pulsed-laser ablation (PLA) and of SnO/sub 2/ deposited by rheotaxial growth and thermal oxidation techniques were comparatively characterized. [3H]Aniracetam bound to specific and saturable recognition sites in membranes prepared from discrete regions of rat brain. In crude membrane preparation from rat cerebral cortex, specific binding was Na+ independent, was still largely detectable at low temperature (4 degrees C), and underwent rapid dissociation. Scatchard analysis of [3H]aniracetam binding revealed a single population of sites with an apparent KD value of approximately 70 nM and a maximal density of 3.5 pmol/mg of protein. Specifically bound [3H]aniracetam was not displaced by various metabolites of aniracetam, nor by other pyrrolidinone-containing nootropic drugs such as piracetam or oxiracetam. Subcellular distribution studies showed that a high percentage of specific [3H]aniracetam binding was present in purified synaptosomes or mitochondria, whereas specific binding was low in the myelin fraction. The possibility that at least some [3H]aniracetam binding sites are associated with glutamate receptors is supported by the evidence that specific binding was abolished when membranes were preincubated at 37 degrees C under fast shaking (a procedure that substantially reduced the amount of glutamate trapped in the membranes) and could be restored after addition of either glutamate or alpha-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionate (AMPA) but not kainate. The action of AMPA was antagonized by DNQX, which also reduced specific [3H]aniracetam binding in unwashed membranes. Terbinafine has partly solved the well-known problems in the treatment of dermatophyte nail infections. The aim of our study was to assess the effectiveness of very short treatment of dermatophyte nail infections with four different courses of terbinafine with or without chemical onycholysis. For this purpose, 60 patients, divided into four groups, were given different courses of treatment with oral terbinafine. Clinical, mycological and tolerability tests were performed before, during and after treatment. Clear microscopy and culture findings confirmed cure rates in the four groups of 95%, 95%, 70% and 100% without any side-effects. In conclusion, terbinafine has proved to be effective and well tolerated in the very short-term treatment of dermatophyte nail infections. 相似文献

Serious cartilage lesions (Outerbridge III, IV) may be successfully treated with a three-layered gradient scaffold made by magnesium-doped hydroxyapatite and type I collagen, manufactured through a bio-inspired process and stabilised by a reactive bis-epoxy (1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether, BDDGE). Each layer was analysed to elucidate the effects of crosslinking variables (concentration, temperature and pH). The chemical stabilisation led to an homogeneous and aligned collagenous matrix: the fibrous structures switched to a laminar foils-based arrangement and organic phases acquired an highly coordinated 3D-organization. These morphological features were strongly evident when crosslinking occurred in alkaline solution, with BDDGE concentration of at least 1 wt%. The optimised crosslinking conditions did not affect the apatite nano-crystals nucleated into self-assembling collagen fibres. The present work allowed to demonstrate that acting on BDDGE reaction parameters might be an useful tool to control the chemical–physical properties of bio-inspired scaffold suitable to heal wide osteochondral defects, even through arthroscopic procedure. 相似文献

The paper reports the results of a study performed to investigate the influence of the grape variety on the growth of Aspergillus carbonarius on grape berries and the correlation between the amount of ochratoxin A (OTA) and the content of trans-resveratrol produced after fungal contamination. Variations in the amount of OTA produced by the fungus are observed depending on both grape variety and on the induction of trans-resveratrol determined during the infection. The obtained data suggest that if an increase in trans-resveratrol production in grape berries occurs early after the fungal infection, the berry exploits this compound to control OTA synthesis. If the increase in trans-resveratrol concentration is delayed after fungal infection (40 h), a control of OTA accumulation can not be achieved. The possibility of exerting significant control of OTA biosynthesis by this phytoalexin seems to rely in the promptness of its production, as occurs also in other fungus plant interactions and, in turn, seems to be dependent also on grape cultivar. In this fungus-plant system, trans-resveratrol appears to represent a defence-related compound toward A. carbonarius and OTA contamination. 相似文献

Electrostatic discharge (ESD) is generally known as a discharge phenomena via device pins. Many precautions have been taken against ESD, mostly considering workplace protection, pad protection structures. However, electrostatic events, originating from robotic semiconductor wafer- and device-processing seems at least a problem of similar severeness, which has not been considered enough, yet. This paper describes electrostatic mechanisms in most common assembly process tools, how to do diagnostics on devices and tool auditing.
