Necessary conditions were studied for the optimum operation of agglomeration granulation. The mechanisms that would realize these conditions were investigated by several experiments.On the basis of the results obtained, a novel granulating system involving a surface wetness control mechanism has been developed.The present paper describes the mixing and dispersing characteristics of the coating vessel, the detection method for wetness control, the particular spraying units, and the operating conditions thereof, together with the characteristics of this newly developed powder coating granulation system.This system has been shown to provide an easy and reproducible granulating technique even when products below 1 mm in size are required. 相似文献

The autoxidation processes of the cis-9,trans-11 (c9,t11) and trans-10,cis-12 (t10,c12) isomers of CLA were separately observed at ca. 0% RH and different temperatures. The t10,c12 CLA oxidized faster than the c9,t11 isomer at all tested temperatures. The first half of the oxidation process of t10,c12 CLA obeyed an autocatalytic-type rate expression, but the latter half followed first-order kinetics. On the other hand,
the entire oxidation process of c9,t11 CLA could be expressed by the autocatalytic-type rate expression. The apparent activation energies and frequency factors
for the autoxidation of the isomers were estimated from the rate constants obtained at various temperatures based on the Arrhenius
equation. The apparent activation energies for the CLA isomers were greater than those for the nonconjugated n−6 and n−3 PUFA
or their esters. However, the enthalpyentropy compensation held during the autoxidation of both the CLA and PUFA. This suggested

A -conjugated polymer, poly(pyridine-2,5-diyl) (PPy) was investigated as a support for CuCl2 in the synthesis of dimethyl carbonate by oxidative carbonylation of methanol. The PPy–CuCl2 adduct had high catalytic activity which was comparable to that of the homogeneous CuCl2 catalyst. The adduct caused corrosion of stainless-steel vessels only to minor extent, compared with the homogeneous CuCl2 catalyst. This PPy–CuCl2 catalyst was easily recycled by filtration and showed a similar catalytic activity in the third time use. The presence of the -conjugated system in PPy, through which electrons can move, may bring about the high catalytic activity for the oxidative carbonylation of methanol, which involves Cu(II)/Cu(I) redox processes. 相似文献

The light transmittance of the gels of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)/phenol/water solutions was examined for the entire range of phenol/water content. Excellent transparency was found for the gels with phenol contents of 70–95 vol %. In full consideration of the results for the transparency and melting temperature of the gels and the viscosity and gelation ability of solutions, the PVA solutions of 75 vol % phenol content were selected for the gel spinning. The chemical reactivities of novel reactive antioxidants based on tetrazoles for carbon–carbon double bonds of liquid polybutadiene and their antioxidation activities toward isoprene rubber were evaluated. These antioxidants, i.e., 2-substituted phenyl-5-(3′,5′ -di-tert-butyl-4′-hydroxyphenyl)tetrazoles (PHPT), were pyrolyzed in liquid polybutadiene at 160–170°C for 30 min to attach to rubber in extents of 61–85% of the nitrileimines formed from PHPT by 1,3-dipolar addition reaction. The reactivities of PHPT followed the order p-Cl > m-Cl > H > p-CH3 > m-CH3, p-OC2H5, suggesting that PHPT reacts with diene rubber in electrophilic reaction and p-derivatives exhibit higher contents of binding than m-derivatives due to steric hindrance. From oxygen absorption data, the antioxidation activities of PHPT for isoprene rubber vulcanizates followed the order m-Cl, m-CH3 > H, p-Cl, p-Cl, p-CH3 > p-OC2H5. Isoprene rubber vulcanizates, obtained after pretreatment with PHPT by heating, were extracted with acetone, followed by aging to show that there was good retention and appreciable antioxidation activities of PHPT, especially, p-CH3 and p-Cl substituted PHPT. 相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate the physiological and subjective responses of the European, Japanese (JPN) and US firefighters' helmet, gloves and boots for international standardisation. Three experimental conditions were evaluated (clothing mass: 9.4, 8.2 and 10.1 kg for the three conditions, respectively) at the air temperature of 32°C and 60% relative humidity. The results showed that there was no significant difference among the three conditions in oxygen consumption, heart rate, total sweat rate, rectal temperature and mean skin temperature, whereas peripheral temperatures and subjective perceptions were lower in the JPN condition than in the other conditions (P < 0.05). These results indicate that a 0.5-kg reduction in helmet mass and a 1.1-kg reduction in boot mass during exercise resulted in a significant decrease in head and leg temperatures and subjective perceptions, while a 1.9-kg reduction in total clothing mass had insignificant influences on the metabolic burden and overall body temperature. 相似文献

We present a new architecture level unified reliability evaluation methodology for chip multiprocessors (CMPs). The proposed reliability estimation (REST) is based on a Monte Carlo algorithm. What distinguishes REST from the previous work is that both the computational and communication components are considered in a unified manner to compute the reliability of the CMP. We utilize REST tool to develop a new dynamic reliability management (DRM) scheme to address time-dependent dielectric breakdown and negative-bias temperature instability aging mechanisms in network-on-chip (NoC) based CMPs. Designed as a control loop, the proposed DRM scheme uses an effective neural network based reliability estimation module. The neural-network predictor is trained using the REST tool. We investigate how system’s lifetime changes when the NoC as the communication unit of the CMP is considered or not during the reliability evaluation process and find that differences can be as high as 60%. Full-system based simulations using a customized GEM5 simulator show that reliability can be improved by up to 52% using the proposed DRM scheme in a best-effort scenario with 2–9% performance penalty (using a user set target lifetime of 7 years) over the case when no DRM is employed. 相似文献

A commercial product of CLA contains almost equal amounts of cis-9,trans-11 (c9,t11)-CLA and trans-10,cis-12 (t10,c12)-CLA. We attempted to enrich the two isomers by a two-step selective esterification using Candida rugosa lipase that acted on c9,t11-CLA more strongly than on t10,c12-CLA. An FFA mixture containing CLA isomers was esterified with an equimolar amount of lauryl alcohol in a mixture of 20%
water and the lipase. When the esterification of total FA reached 50%, two isomers were fractionated in a good yield: t10,c12-CLA was enriched in FFA, and c9,t11-CLA was recovered in lauryl esters. The FFA were esterified again to enrich t10,c12-CLA. At 27.3% esterification of total FA, the t10,c12-CLA content in FFA increased to 64.8 wt% with 89.3% recovery: The ratio of the content of t10,c12-CLA to that of two isomers was 95.9%. Lauryl esters obtained by the single esterification were employed for enrichment
of c9,t11-CLA. After the esters were hydrolyzed, the resulting FFA were esterified again with lauryl alcohol. At 62.0% esterification
of total FA, the c9,t11-CLA content in lauryl esters increased to 73.3 wt% with 79.4% recovery: The ratio of the content of c9,t11-CLA to that of two isomers was 95.6%. In a 600-g-scale purification, molecular distillation was effective in separating

Polycondensation by Stille coupling of 2-decyl-4,7-dibromobenzimidazoles and N-methyl-2-decyl-4,7-dibromobenzimidazole with 2,5-bis(trimethylstannyl)thiophene and 5,5′-bis(trimethylstannyl)-2,2′-bithiophene gave the corresponding π-conjugated polymers, poly(2-decylbenzimidazole-4,7-diyl-thiophene-2,5-diyl) 1b, poly(2-decylbenzimidazole-4,7-diyl-bithiophene-2,5-diyl) 1c and poly(N-methyl-2-decylbenzimidazole-4,7-diyl-thiophene-2,5-diyl) 2b, in 98-99% yields. The polymers 1b and 2b were fully soluble in CF3COOH, and partially soluble in DMF (about 60 and 40% for 1b and 2b, respectively) and NMP (about 70 and 40%, respectively). The NMP soluble part of 1b and DMF soluble part of 2b gave values of 0.36 and 0.24 dl g−1 in NMP and DMF, respectively. The DMF soluble part of 1b, 1c and 2b showed absorption peaks at about 458, 465 and 388 nm, respectively, in DMF. In an alkaline medium the absorption peaks of 1b and 1c are shifted to a longer wavelength by 92-101 nm; the observed shifts in the acidic medium and alkaline medium were much larger than those observed with usual benzimidazoles with low molecular weights. Phase separation which occurs in parallel to the hydrolysis and gelation of alkoxysilane solution containing poly(sodium styrenesulfonate) (NaPSS) has been investigated. Depending on the reaction conditions, gel morphologies such as isolated pores, particle aggregates, and interconnected continuous pores from 0.1 to 100 μm long have been observed. Time-resolved light scattering of gelling solution suggested the occurrence of spinodal phase separation through the polymerization of silica and the subsequent freezing of the developing structure by sol-gel transition. The effects of reaction parameters on the periodic size are explained mainly in terms of their influence on the "chemical cooling" rate which is determined by the polymerizatica rate of silica and the solubility of NaPSS in the reacting solution. 相似文献
