The main architectures, learning abilities and applications of radial basis function (RBF) neural networks are well documented. However, to the best of our knowledge, no in-depth analyses have been carried out into the influence on the behaviour of the neural network arising from the use of different alternatives for the design of an RBF (different non-linear functions, distances, number of neurons, structures, etc.). Thus, as a complement to the existing intuitive knowledge, it is necessary to have a more precise understanding of the significance of the different alternatives. In the present contribution, the relevance and relative importance of the parameters involved in such a design are investigated by using a statistical tool, the ANalysis Of the VAriance (ANOVA). In order to obtain results that are widely applicable, various problems of classification, functional approximation and time series estimation are analyzed. Conclusions are drawn regarding the whole set.  相似文献

The market's leading Hungarian Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) operator—Westel—has recently introduced a Hungarian e-mail reading system as a regular service. It was implemented on the basis of an experimental system developed at the Department of Telecommunications and Telematics of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (DTT BUTE). In this article, the considerations involved in the design and implementation decisions of both the experimental and the industrial systems will be described. Results of the first 10 weeks of regular use of the industrial system will also be given.  相似文献

It is used to prove that every at most countable subset of any MV-algebra is contained in the range of an observable. The ratios of the plastic shear strain and tensile strain to the resolved shear strain are determined on the basis of earlier results obtained by computer for 1 0 0 and 1 1 1 textures and nontextured polycrystals in the case of simultaneous shear and extension. It is shown that the plastic deformation increment vector determined by the application of the plastic work equation fulfils the normality condition prescribed by the generalized flow law.  相似文献

Ignition tests were carried out on blends of three coals of different rank - subbituminous, high volatile and low volatile bituminous - in two entrained flow reactors. The ignition temperatures were determined from the gas evolution profiles (CO, CO2, NO, O2), while the mechanism of ignition was elucidated from these profiles and corroborated by high-speed video recording. Under the experimental conditions of high carbon loading, clear interactive effects were observed for all the blends. Ignition of the lower rank coals (subbituminous, high volatile bituminous) enhanced the ignition of the higher rank coal (low volatile bituminous) in the blends. The ignition temperatures of the blends of the low rank coals (subbituminous-high volatile bituminous) were additive. However, for the rest of the blends the ignition temperatures were always closer to the lower rank coal in the blend.  相似文献

To establish the basis of the interpretative method is congruous with finding a solid basis--epistemologically speaking--to the analytic theory. This basis would be the means to transform this theory into a real science with its necessary adecuation among method, act and object of knowledge. It is only from a scientific stand that the psychoanalytic theory will be able to face successfully the reductionisms that menace it, be it the biologist-naturalism with its explanations of the psychic phenomena by means of mechanisms and biologic models or be it the speculative ideologies with their nucleus of technical praxis which make it impossible for the social-factic sciences to become real sciences. We propose as interpretative method the union of two models: the teleologic one which makes possible the appearance of intelligible, contingent and variable explanations between an antecedent and a consequent on one side, and on the other, the analogic model with its two moments: the comparative and the symbolic one. These moments makes possible the comparison and the union between antecedent and consequent baring in mind the "natural" ambiguity of the subject-object in question. The principal objective of the method--as a regulative idea in the Kantian sense--would be the search of univocity as regards the choice of one and only one sense from all the possible senses that "explain" the motive relationship or motive-end relationship in order to make the interpretation scientific. This status of scientificity should obey the rules of explanation: that the interpretations be derived effectively from the presupposed theory, that they really explain what they claim to explain, that they are not contradictory or contrary in the same ontologic level. We postulate that the synthesis of the two mentioned models, the teleologic-explanative and the analogic one allows us to find a possibility to make clear the "dark" sense of the noun interpretation and in this way the factibility of speaking of an interpretative method that develops the real concrete object by producing the formal and abstract one--which for us is the behaviour of the subject--. In this way the interpretations come to be teleological explanations overdetermined by an analogical relationship. This means that they produce the formal and abstract object -the method--which is in itself an intelligible, continguent and variable relationship between an antecedent and a consequent permitting in this way the emergence of a symbolic comparison to explain the real concrete. The symbolic explanations and comparisons are strictly derived from the presupposed theory, the theoretical body of psychoanalysis.  相似文献

One of the most simple and economic methods of testing the mechanical properties of alloys is the microhardness measurement. In the present paper we report on the results and the interpretation of experiments carried out on a series of AI-Zn-Mg alloys prepared from high purity base materials. The following results were obtained: (a) the incremental microhardness,HV, was related to the microhardness,HV, of high purity Al and can be given asHV=264(Cmg–0.25Czn) wherec mg andC zn are the concentrations of Mg and Zn respectively, in the as-quenched state after solution heattreatment, (b) the ultimate tensile strength and the microhardness were correlated by the approximation:HV3u.HV was investigated in the light of the average radius and the volume fraction of zones forming at room temperature. On the basis of the micromechanism of plastic deformation further evidence was found to show that the shearing mechanism is responsible for strengthening by GP zones in AI-Zn-Mg alloys.  相似文献

We studied the methyltrioxorhenium (MTO)-CH2Cl2/H2O2 biphasic system for epoxidizing soybean oil. The reactions were optimized (reactant ratio, time, and temperature), which resulted in a better performance (higher conversion and selectivity) than those described in the literature. Total doublebond conversion and 95% selectivity were obtained in 2 h at room temperature. Furthermore, it was possible to reach desired epoxidation degrees by changing the oxidant and MTO amounts. The rhenium-epoxidized soybean oil remained stable in the absence of stabilizers for up to 30 d when stored at mild conditions.  相似文献

Estolides are a group of FA polyesters resulting from ester bond formation between a hydroxyl or olefinic group of one FA and the terminal carboxyl group of a second FA. These products are commonly found in trace amounts, forming tetraglycerides in several oil seed plants, and have been produced by acid clay and enzymatic catalysis in vitro. In this study, natural estolides produced by a bacterial culture are presented for the first time. Pseudomonas sp. 42A2 produced (E)-10-hydroxy-8-octadecenoic acid and (E)-7,10-dihydroxy-8-octadecenoic acid when grown on oleic acid. It is suggested that these FA were polymerized in culture by a lipase produced by the bacterial strain, resulting in a mixture of estolides. These compounds amounted to 3.8 g/L after 72 h of incubation. LC-MS analysis indicated that the types of estolides formed were dimers (m/z 560–610), trimers (m/z 845–906), tetramers (m/z 1122–1202), pentamers (m/z 1328–1424), and hexamers (m/z 1554–1788), with a relative abundance of 27.5, 19.4, 15, 9.7, and 11%, respectively. This is the first report in which hexamers were detected in a bacterial culture.  相似文献
