Selective catalytic reduction of NO x by NH3 over Cu–FER and Cu–ZSM-5 in the presence of n-decane and SO2 was investigated. NO x conversion over Cu–ZSM-5 decreased in the presence of n-decane, owing to inhibition of the active sites by coke formation. In contrast, coke formation was negligible over Cu–FER, which maintained its NO x conversion activity even in the presence of decane. Coke formation was negligible over H–ZSM-5 and H–FER supports, which suggests that Cu species were involved in coke formation. Temperature-programmed reduction by H2 and electron spin resonance spectroscopy indicated that [Cu–O–Cu]2+ was probably the Cu species involved in coke formation over Cu–ZSM-5.  相似文献

Grain growth in a high-purity ZnO and for the same ZnO with Bi2O3 additions from 0.5 to 4 wt% was studied for sintering from 900° to 1400°C in air. The results are discussed and compared with previous studies in terms of the phenomenological kinetic grain growth expression: G n— G n0= K 0 t exp(— Q/RT ). For the pure ZnO, the grain growth exponent or n value was observed to be 3 while the apparent activation energy was 224 ± 16 kJ/mol. These parameters substantiate the Gupta and Coble conclusion of a Zn2+ lattice diffusion mechanism. Additions of Bi2O3 to promote liquidphase sintering increased the ZnO grain size and the grain growth exponent to about 5, but reduced the apparent activation energy to about 150 kJ/mol, independent of Bi2O3 content. The preexponential term K 0 was also independent of Bi2O3 content. It is concluded that the grain growth of ZnO in liquid-phase-sintered ZnO-Bi2O3 ceramics is controlled by the phase boundary reaction of the solid ZnO grains and the Bi2O3-rich liquid phase.  相似文献

We investigated how pretreatment and high-LET beam irradiation affected the ion-track dissolution rate in poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) films by SEM observations and conductometric analysis in order to develop the preparation methodology of nano-sized ion-track membranes. PVDF thin films irradiated with four types of ion beams were exposed to a 9 mol/dm3 KOH aqueous solution after their storage in air at 120 °C. This heating treatment was found to enhance the etch rate in the latent track, both in the inner core and outer halo regions, without changing that in the bulk, probably due to the formation of parasitic oxidation products facilitating the introduction of the etching agent to improve the etchability. Additionally, the irradiation of heavier higher-LET ions, causing each track to more activated sites (like radicals), was preferable for achieving effective etching.  相似文献

Temperature dependence of sputtering yield is studied through molecular dynamics (MD) simulation that is performed for Ag sputtered by 12.6 keV Ar impacting at normal incidence. The target temperature is considered from 300 to 1235 K. It is found that the target temperature has little effect on the monomer yield because it comes from the energetic collision cascade. On the other hand, the sputtered cluster yield increases with the target temperature. It seems that the sputtered cluster is produced due to the thermal spike near the surface and the thermal spike is strongly influenced by the target temperature.  相似文献

The purpose of the present investigation was to test whether permanent skeletal muscle cells (rat L6 cells) could serve as an in vitro model for α-tocopherol (αTocH) biodiscrimination studies. L6 cells were incubated in the presence of high density lipoprotein (HDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL), and very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) labeled in the lipid moiety with either all-rac-or RRR-[14C]αTocH. These incubations were performed either in the absence or in the presence of exogenously added bovine lipoprotein lipase (LPL) since skeletal muscle is one of the major expression sites of LPL in vivo. Time-dependent uptake studies (up to 24 h) in the absence of LPL have shown that equipotent doses of all-rac- and RRR-[14C]αTocH (1.36∶1) led to almost identical accumulation of the tracer, independent of the lipoprotein class used as αTocH carrier. With regard to αTocH donor capacity, it appeared that HDL is the most potent αTocH donor, followed by LDL and VLDL. In the presence of LPL, all-rac- and RRR-[14C]αTocH uptake was significantly enhanced (between two- and tenfold). Biodiscrimination studies using chiral high-performance liquid chromatographic analysis with radiometric detection of the corresponding methyl ether derivatives on a Chiralcel OD column have demonstrated that the 2S-and 2R-isomers of αTocH were taken up in a 1∶1 ratio by L6 cells independent of the absence or presence of LPL. In addition, we have not observed biodiscrimination between the four 2R-isomers, i.e., there was no preferential accumulation of the RRR-isomer. These data suggest that L6 cells do not discriminate between different αTocH isomers and that the addition of endogenous LPL significantly enhances the uptake of RRR- and all-rac-αTocH.  相似文献

In this study, the influence of the fluidized bed height on the float–sink of different sized spheres in a gas–solid fluidized bed was investigated. Fluidized beds with heights h = 200, 150, 100 and 50 mm were prepared using a cylindrical column of inner diameter = 290 mm and a mixture of zircon sand and iron powder as the fluidized medium. Float–sink experiments were carried out using density adjusted spheres of diameter Dsp = 40, 30, 20 and 10 mm. It was found that the float–sink performance at Dsp ?20 mm is not affected by the height of the bed, and the sharpness of separation (the density range where spheres neither float nor sink completely) is less than or equal to 200 kg/m3. In the case of Dsp = 10 mm, the sharpness of separation is a larger value (1100 kg/m3 at h = 200 mm), whereas it decreases with decreasing h and is 400 kg/m3 at h = 50 mm. The fluctuation of the surface height of the fluidized bed was visually recorded. The fluctuation is reduced by reducing h. The fluctuation vs. h correlates with the sharpness of separation at Dsp = 10 mm vs. h. These results indicate that the dry float–sink separation of smaller sized spheres is improved as the fluctuation of fluidized bed surface is decreased by reducing the fluidized bed height.  相似文献

The system architectures, which allow a high performance fully balanced (FB) system based on ordinary/modified single-ended opamps to be implemented, are investigated and the basic and general requirements are formulated. Two new methods of an FB analog system design, which contribute towards achieving both a high performance IC system implementation and a great reduction of the design time are presented. It is shown that a single-ended system based on any type of opamp (rail-to-rail, constant g m , etc.), realized in any technology (CMOS, bipolar, BiCMOS, GaAs), can be easily and effectively converted to its FB counterpart in a very practical way. Using the proposed rules, any FB system implementation with opamps (data converter, modulator, filter, etc.) requires only a single-ended system version design and the drawbacks related to a conventional FB system design are avoided. The principles of the design are pointed out and they are verified by experimental results.  相似文献

InAs/AlAsxSb1 − x quantum wells are investigated for their potential as hot carrier solar cells. Continuous wave power and temperature‐dependent photoluminescence indicate a transition in the dominant hot carrier relaxation process from conventional phonon‐mediated carrier relaxation below 90 K to a regime where inhibited radiative recombination dominates the hot carrier relaxation at elevated temperatures. At temperatures below 90 K, photoluminescence measurements are consistent with type‐I quantum wells that exhibit hole localization associated with alloy/interface fluctuations. At elevated temperatures, hole delocalization reveals the true type‐II band alignment, where it is observed that inhibited radiative recombination due to the spatial separation of the charge carriers dominates hot carrier relaxation. This decoupling of phonon‐mediated relaxation results in robust hot carriers at higher temperatures, even at lower excitation powers. These results indicate type‐II quantum wells offer potential as practical hot carrier systems. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Instrumentation and monitoring systems in a nuclear power plant are very important to monitor plant conditions for safe operations and a plant shutdown. The severe accident at TOKYO ELECTRIC POWER COMPANY's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (hereinafter called as TF1) in March 2011 caused several severe situations such as core damage, hydrogen explosion, etc. Lessons learned from the severe accident at TF1 show that an appropriate operable instrumentation and monitoring system for a severe accident should be developed so that the system will deliver an appropriate performance for mitigation of severe accident condition in a nuclear power plant.

This paper proposes the classification method of severe accident condition for the development of an appropriate operable instrumentation and monitoring system for a severe accident based on the problem analysis of monitoring variables during the severe accident at TF1. The classification is formed on the basis of the integrity of boundary for plant safety and the successful (or unsuccessful) condition of the cooling water injection, and is used for an establishment of defining severe accident environmental conditions for the instrumentation and monitoring system.
