In the preparation of copper selenide thin films using chemical bath deposition (CBD) technique, it is observed that the pH of the final reacting mixture is the major factor controlling the composition of the film. Thin films of cubic Cu2−xSe and tetragonal Cu3Se2, of band gaps 2.20 and 2.83 eV, respectively, have been prepared using the CBD technique by adjusting the bath parameters like pH, temperature and the ratio between copper and selenium atoms in the reaction bath. X-ray diffraction analysis is used as the major tool for identification of these phases. The results have been confirmed using XPS, ICP and absorption studies.  相似文献

The present work reports an investigation on the modification of conducting polyaniline (PANI) characteristics favorably on blending with the neutral polymer, poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) in a systematic variation of their molar ratios (aniline : PVP = 4 : 1, 2 : 1, 1 : 1, 1 : 2, and 1 : 3). Prepared by precipitation technique by conventional in situ chemical oxidative polymerization with ammonium peroxodisulfate in aqueous H2SO4 medium (pH 1.0), these materials have nanometer sizes (~ 50–200 nm) and, depending on the molar ratios, exhibit a distinct deviation in physicochemical characteristics from those of pristine PANI prepared in the identical condition. A gradual trend in characteristics is noticed in first three PANI–PVP blends, while an abnormal hike in conductivity, unusual spectral features in IR and UV–vis, hardened nature, and induction of characteristic morphology, crystallinity, and thermal stability are associated with the last two blends that have excess PVP. Thus a division of two sets of nanoblends, one set with less or equal content of PVP and another with excess of PVP, emerges. Evidently, PVP has a tuning effect on PANI through its dopant, supporting matrix and interpenetrating steric stabilizer acts in proportion quite unusual to its neutral nature. New donor–acceptor‐type copolymers comprised of benzobisthiazole (BBTz) as a weak donor rather than acceptor are proposed. This approach can simultaneously lead to deepening the HOMO and LUMO of the polymers with moderate energy offset against fullerene derivatives in bulk heterojunction organic photovoltaics. As a proof‐of‐concept, BBTz‐based random copolymers conjugated with typical electron acceptors: thienopyrroledione (TPD) and benzothiadiazole (BT) based on density functional theory calculations are synthesized. Laser‐flash and Xe‐flash time‐resolved microwave conductivity (TRMC) evaluations of polymer:[6,6]‐phenyl C61 butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) blends are conducted to screen the feasibility of the copolymers, leading to optimization of processing conditions for photovoltaic device application. According to the TMRC results, alternating BBTz‐BT copolymers are designed, exhibiting extended photoabsorption up to ca. 750 nm, deep HOMO (–5.5 to –5.7 eV), good miscibility with PCBM, and inherent crystalline nature. Moreover, the maximized PCE of 3.8%, the top‐class among BBTz‐based polymers reported so far, is realized in an inverted cell using TiOx and MoOx as the buffer layers. This study opens up opportunities to create low‐bandgap polymers with deep HOMO, and shows how the device‐less TRMC evaluation is of help for decision‐making on judicious molecular design.  相似文献

Six-noded, isoparametric serendipity type quadrilateral regular/singular elements are used for the estimation of stress intensity factors (SIF) in linear elastic fracture mechanics (LEFM) problems involving cracks in two-dimensional structural components. The square root singularity is achieved in the six-noded elements by moving the in-side nodes to the quarter point position. The modified crack closure integral (MCCI) method is adopted which could generate accurate estimates of SIF for a relatively coarse mesh. The equations for strain energy release rate and SIF are derived for mixed mode situations using six-noded quadrilateral elements at the crack tip. The model is validated by numerical studies for a centre crack in a finite plate under uniaxial tension, a single edge notched specimen under uniaxial tension, an inclined crack in a finite rectangular plate and cracks emanating from a pin-loaded lug (or lug attachment). The results compare very well with reference solutions available in the literature.  相似文献

Breast cancer is one of the human threats which cause morbidity and mortality worldwide. The death rate can be reduced by advanced diagnosis. The objective of this article is to select the reduced number of features the help in diagnosing breast cancer in Wisconsin Diagnostic Breast Cancer (WDBC). This proposed model depicts women who all have no cancer cells or in benign stage later develop into malignant (metastases). Due to the dynamic nature of the big data framework, the proposed method ensures high confidence and low execution time. Moreover, healthcare information growth chases an exponential pattern, and current database systems cannot adequately manage the massive amount of data.
