Zinc doped Fe2O3 for boosting Electrocatalytic Nitrogen Fixation to ammonia under mild conditions

Artificial nitrogen fixation is emerging as a promising approach for synthesis of ammonia at mild conditions. Inspired by biological nitrogen fixation based on bacteria containing iron, zinc doped Fe₂O₃ nanoparticles are proposed as an efficient and earth abundant electrocatalyst for converting N₂ to NH₃. In neutral media, it achieves a maximum Faradaic efficiency (FE) of 10.4% and a large NH₃ yield rate of 15.1 μg h^?1 mg^?1_cat. at ?0.5 V vs. reversible hydrogen electrode. This catalyst also exhibits excellent selectivity and stability. Theoretical calculations suggest the reaction follows the associative enzymatic mechanism and it has a barrier of as low as 0.68 eV.     

Combination of vegetable soup and glucan demonstrates synergistic effects on macrophage-mediated immune responses

Vegetable soup (VS), a plant-based functional food, has been used as a traditional folk medicine and is attracting attention for its ability to enhance the immune response. β-Glucan, a well-established and effective immunomodulator, has synergistic effects when used in combination with some bioactive compounds. In the present study, we aimed to evaluate the synergistic immunomodulatory effects of the combination of VS and β-glucan on macrophage-mediated immune responses. β-Glucan was demonstrated to synergistically enhance the VS-stimulated immune response, including the production of interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor-α, and nitric oxide, mainly through the mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway in macrophages. 二滩拱坝初次蓄水的变位监测反分析

简要介绍了在二滩拱坝1998年5月初次蓄水期,通过拱坝垂线和监测网系统,用统计模型和确定性模型理论分析方法,建立了施加于坝体各作用量与坝体受作用后的效应量(变位)间的数学关系;并根据预先计算分析成果,提出了在初次蓄水运行中拱坝变位的参考预报值,实时对二滩拱坝实际工作状态作出安全评判。     

稠油微生物开采技术现状及进展

综述了用微生物方法开采稠油的技术现状与进展，论题如下。①概述。②基本方法：异源微生物采油，包括微生物吞吐和微生物驱；本源微生物采油压大港孔店油田的实例。③主要机理，包括产表面活性剂，降解稠油中重质组分及其他。④技术研究，包括机理性、可行性及经济效益研究，列举了国内外6个实例。⑤现场应用，包括国外1个、国内6个实例。⑥该技术的优势及问题。参22。     

铌和钨对γ-TiAl基合金热稳定性的影响

采用光学显微镜(OM)，扫描电镜(SEM)，X射线衍射研究了TiAl—5Nb，TiAl—14．3Nb，TiAl—8Nb—1W，TiAl—12．3Nb-2W四种合金片层组织在1000℃的热稳定性。结果表明，TiAl—12．3Nb-2W合金热稳定性最好，但合金元素对TiAl基合金热稳定性的影响机理还有待进一步的研究。     

HEDP作为润滑油抗磨剂的应用研究

考察了1-羟基乙叉-1，1-二膦酸（二辛）酯（HEDP）的极压抗磨性能以及与硫化异丁烯的复合效应，并用俄歇电子能谱（AES）分析了其四球机试验后钢球表面的元素。结果表明，HEDP作为抗磨剂用于极压性润滑油中，具有优良的极压抗磨性能，其与硫化异丁烯复配也显示出了良好的协同效应。HEDP对于油品的防锈性能具有积极的作用，对有色金属的腐蚀无不良影响，具有多效功能，对于研制低剂量的极压性油品配方具有重要意义。HEDP应用于重负荷车辆齿轮油的全配方中，所调制的复合剂添加量不大于4．5％的GL-5车辆齿轮油符合GB1389592质量标准。     

固体铝电解电容器用导电高分子制备工艺进展

依据近年的相关专利,综述了用于固体铝电解电容器的导电高分子的最新制备工艺,介绍了导电高分子固体铝电解电容器的结构,详细描述了制备导电高分子的两种主要方法——化学聚合和电化学聚合——及其进展历程。介绍了新颖掺杂剂的发现与使用,对各种工艺的特点进行了评述。     

BaTiO3基Au纳米颗粒复合薄膜的制备及其光学性质研究

采用溶胶-凝胶（sol-gel）方法，成功的将高体积面分比的Au纳米颗粒复合到BaTiO3的非晶薄膜中，并对其光学性质进行了研究。用XRD、TEM、椭偏仪、吸收光谱、光克尔效应OKE（Optical Kerr Effcet）方法对薄膜进行了表征和测试。从吸收光谱观察到表面等离子体共振SPR（Surface Plasma Resonance)峰随热处理温度升高而红移的现象。光学非线性测试表明薄膜具有高的三阶非线性极化率Χ^(3)和超快的响应时间。     

Synthesis of amphiphilic magnetic microspheres by dispersion copolymerization of styrene and poly(ethylene oxide) macromonomer

Amphiphilic magnetic microspheres ranging in diameter from 5 to 100 µm were prepared by dispersion copolymerization of styrene and poly(ethylene oxide) vinylbenzyl (PEO‐VB) macromonomer (MPEO) in the presence of Fe₃O₄ magnetic fluid. The effects of various polymerization parameters on the average particle size were systematically investigated. The average particle size was found to increase with increasing styrene concentration and initiator concentration. It also increased with decreasing stabilizer concentration and molecular weight of MPEO. The content of the hydroxyl groups localized in the microspheres ranged from 0.01 to 0.2 mmol g^?1. © 2003 Society of Chemical Industry
