A continuous wave 4 kW Nd:YAG laser welding system was employed to clad single beads on machined 6.2-mm thick ZE41A-T5 aerospace magnesium alloy sand castings using nominal 1.6-mm filler rods of the parent metal. Based on the quality criterion of minimum dilution ratio, the Taguchi experimental method was used to optimize different process parameters and to identify the dominating factors. It was found that, for the process window investigated in this work, the optimal levels were 5.0 m/min for wire feed rate, 2.25 kW for laser power, and 2.5 m/min for cladding speed, with a minimum dilution ratio of 0.155. With 95% confidence, the wire feed rate is the dominating factor with the most significant influence on the dilution ratio. The dilution ratio usually decreases with increased wire feed rate while it increases with increased laser power. By contrast, the cladding speed appears to have insignificant influence on the dilution ratio over the cladding speed range used in this study.  相似文献

We propose a microparticle localization scheme in digital holography. Most conventional digital holography methods are based on Fresnel transform and present several problems such as twin-image noise, border effects, and other effects. To avoid these difficulties, we propose an inverse-problem approach, which yields the optimal particle set that best models the observed hologram image. We resolve this global optimization problem by conventional particle detection followed by a local refinement for each particle. Results for both simulated and real digital holograms show strong improvement in the localization of the particles, particularly along the depth dimension. In our simulations, the position precision is > or =1 microm rms. Our results also show that the localization precision does not deteriorate for particles near the edge of the field of view.  相似文献

Digital holography, which consists of both acquiring the hologram image in a digital camera and numerically reconstructing the information, offers new and faster ways to make the most of a hologram. We describe a new method to determine the rough size of particles in an in-line hologram. This method relies on a property that is specific to interference patterns in Fresnel holograms: Self-correlation of a hologram provides access to size information. The proposed method is both simple and fast and gives results with acceptable precision. It suppresses all the problems related to the numerical depth of focus when large depth volumes are analyzed.  相似文献

The magnetic field source system constitutes an important component of magnetic refrigeration. A specific methodology for its' dimensioning is proposed in this paper. It is based on analytical calculation models and takes into account the geometry of the system, the magnetic properties of the magnetocaloric material and the magnetothermal cycle (direct or active magnetic regenerative refrigeration). The analytical calculation of the field is first developed and applied to usual permanent magnet-based field sources with and without soft magnetic materials. Then the forces generated by the interaction between the field and the magnetocaloric effect material are analytically evaluated considering the real field distribution. All calculations are validated thanks to two- or three-dimensional finite element method simulations.  相似文献

The use of an acetylcholinesterase inhibition assay for the detection of dichlorvos in durum wheat samples by a simplified extraction procedure is reported. After an incubation step, the residual activity was determined with an amperometric biosensor using a portable potentiostat. The use of electric eel and recombinant acetylcholinesterase was compared. The effect of the matrix extract was evaluated by using various sample:solvent ratios, 1:2.5, 1:5, 1:10, and 1:20. The optimal extraction ratio, considering the electrochemical interferences and the effect on enzyme activity and bioavailability of the pesticide, was 1:10. Calibrations were performed in buffer and durum wheat extract. The calculated detection limits in buffer solution were 10 ng/ ml and 0.045 ng/ml for electric eel and recombinant acetylcholinesterase, respectively, whereas operating in the matrix extract they increased up to 45 ng/ml and 0.07 ng/ml, corresponding to 0.45 mg/kg (extraction ratio 1:10) and 0.07 mg/kg in samples. These characteristics allowed the detection of contaminated samples at the maximum residue limit, which is 2 mg/kg and well below. Fortified samples of durum wheat were obtained with both dichlorvos and the commercial product Didivane, which contains dichlorvos as an active molecule. At all the tested levels, the occurrence of contaminant was detected with an average recovery of 75%. The total assay time, including the extraction step, was 30 min. Because several extractions as well as most of the assay steps can be run simultaneously, the throughput for one operator is 12 determinations per hour.  相似文献

In the framework of the development of generation IV nuclear reactors and fusion nuclear reactors, materials with an improved high temperature (≅650 °C) mechanical strength are required for specific components. The 9-12%Cr martensitic steels are candidate for these applications. Thermomechanical treatments including normalisation at elevated temperature (1150 °C), followed by warm-rolling in metastable austenitic phase and tempering, have been applied on the commercial Grade 91 martensitic steel in order to refine its microstructure and to improve its precipitation state. The temperature of the warm-rolling was set at 600 °C, and those of the tempering heat-treatment at 650 °C and 700 °C thanks to MatCalc software calculations. Microstructural observations proved that the warm-rolling and the following tempering heat-treatment lead to a finer martensitic microstructure pinned with numerous small carbide and nitride particles. The hardness values of thermomechanically treated Grade 91 steel are higher than those of the as-received Grade 91. It is also shown that the yield stress and the ductility of the thermomechanically treated Grade 91 steel are significantly improved compared to the as-received material. Preliminary creep results showed that these thermomechanical treatments improve the creep lifetime by at least a factor 14.  相似文献

We present an error estimator for the SN neutron transport equation discretized with an arbitrary high-order discontinuous Galerkin method. As a starting point, the estimator is obtained for conforming Cartesian meshes with a uniform polynomial order for the trial space then adapted to deal with non-conforming meshes and a variable polynomial order. Some numerical tests illustrate the properties of the estimator and its limitations. Finally, a simple shielding benchmark is analyzed in order to show the relevance of the estimator in an adaptive process.  相似文献

Qualitative chemical geothermometers utilize anomalous concentrations of various “indicator” elements in groundwaters, streams, soils, and soil gases to outline favorable places to explore for geothermal energy. Some of the qualitative methods, such as the delineation of mercury and helium anomalies in soil gases, do not require the presence of hot springs or fumaroles. However, these techniques may also outline fossil thermal areas that are now cold.Quantitative chemical geothermometers and mixing models can provide information about present probable minimum subsurface temperatures. Interpretation is easiest where several hot or warm springs are present in a given area. At this time the most widely used quantitative chemical geothermometers are silica, Na/K, and Na-K-Ca.  相似文献

Theorists since D. Bakan (1966) have advocated the importance of mitigation for successful adaptation within the interpersonal domain. Although mitigation has previously been conceptualized as a balance between agency and communion (interdimensional mitigation), the circumplex framework suggests that mitigation may also be conceptualized as a balance within agency and a balance within communion (intradimensional mitigation). In the two present studies, participants collected records of their interpersonal behavior and affect subsequent to their social interactions for a period of 20 days. Random coefficient procedures were then used to examine these two contrasting models of mitigation in the prediction of affect. No empirical evidence of interdimensional mitigation was found. The findings suggest that agency and communion were each mitigated intradimensionally through moderate levels of behavioral expression.
