Bandpass filters with reconfigurable transmission zeros using varactor-tuned tapped stubs

In this letter, bandpass filters with one or two tunable transmission zeros are proposed. The reconfigurable transmission zeros are implemented through varactors in combination with tapped quarter-wavelength stubs. Based on mixed mode simulations including EM simulation and circuit simulation, the proposed filters were designed and fabricated on low-cost FR4 board. The measurement results verified the design concepts.     

浅谈自育亲本在甘蔗杂交育种中的作用

统计分析了国内外主要育成品种及亲系，发现用自育品种和材料作为杂交亲本育成的品种在统计品种数中占有相当大的比例。台湾占85．7％、四川50．0％、江西42．9％、广东37．5％、云南占了27％、广西16．7％、福建6．7％。印度、美国、巴巴多斯、毛里求斯分别是100％、95．5％、92．9％和100％。说明使用自育品种和材料作为亲本在甘蔗杂交育种中有相当重要的作用。     

Transient response of ARROW VCSELs under external optical feedback

The effect of external optical feedback on the transient response of antiresonant reflecting optical waveguide (ARROW) vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs) is studied. It can be shown that the proper design of ARROW can suppress the excitation of high-order transverse leaky mode as well as increase the critical feedback strength so that stable high-power single-mode operation of VCSELs can be obtained even under the influence of strong external optical feedback.

研究了浓氨介质中石膏与氯化钾直接转化制硫酸钾的结晶动力学及结晶添加剂的作用效果。结果表明 ,硫酸钾在氨介质中的成核速率与晶体生长速率、悬浮密度、搅拌速率存在如下关联式 :B0 =5 .64 13×10 8G3.32 0 8Mt0 .0 559np0 .2 92 8。加入异丙醇、OP乳化剂及十二烷基苯磺酸钠等添加剂 ,可使硫酸钾结晶产品纯度提高 ,晶体形态整齐均匀     

Mixed oxide supported hydrodesulfurization catalysts—a review

Support effects form important aspect of hydrodesulfurization (HDS) studies and mixed oxide supports received maximum attention in the last two decades. This review will focus attention on studies on mixed oxide supported Mo and W catalysts. For convenience of discussion, these are divided into Al₂O₃ containing mixed oxide supports, TiO₂ containing mixed oxide supports, ZrO₂ containing mixed oxide supports and other mixed oxide supports containing all the rest. TiO₂ containing mixed oxides received maximum attention, especially TiO₂–Al₂O₃ supported catalysts. A brief discussion about their prospects for application to ultradeep desulfurization is also included. An overview of the available literature with emphasis on research carried out in our laboratory form the contents of this publication.     

异步DS-CDMA系统中基于矩阵点除算法的DOA估计

针对异步DS-CDMA系统中的多用户环境,本文提出了一种低复杂度的DOA估计算法——矩阵点除算法。该算法通过对感兴趣信息的逐次分离,实现了DOA的逐路径估计。算法具有两方面显著优势:(1)克服了传统的DOA估计算法在路径总数大于天线阵元数时不能工作这一缺陷:(2)避免了计算复杂的特征值分解运算,大大降低了算法复杂度。仿真实验验证了算法的有效性。     

Explosive chemistry: Simulating the chemistry of energetic materials at extreme conditions

In this article, we review recent atomistic computational techniques to study the electronic structure aspects and chemistry of energetic materials at high-pressure and/or high temperature. While several mechanisms have been proposed for the initial events of energetic materials at high-pressure, we explore the validity of a proposed shear-induced local metallization via molecular bond bending in the insensitive explosive TATB. We study the effect of high-stress (both uniform and uniaxial) on the electronic energy band-gap and the first chemical event of a prototypical energetic material, that of nitromethane. We also determine chemical reactions rate laws and decomposition mechanisms from a quantum-based molecular dynamics simulation of HMX, a widely used explosive material, at conditions of high density and temperature similar to that encounter under detonation. Finally, we review a new multi-scale computational tool recently developed to model the shock-induced chemistry of energetic materials at the atomistic level, and report its applicability to shocked solid nitromethane. Effect of Fog and Clouds on the Image Quality in Millimeter Communications

The effect of fog and clouds in millimeter communication is discussed, and the attenuation caused by fog and clouds is reviewed. Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of image is derived using relating models of fog and clouds attenuation. According to the relation of image quality and its signal-to-noise ratio, the system behavior is forecasted theoretically. It is shown that the signal-to-noise ratio of receiver at certain transmitter power is inverse with radio wave frequency, from about 70dB at 10GHz to 48dB for fog and 49dB for clouds. The image quality of received signal at certain transmitter power is inverse with radio wave frequency, from about 7 grade at 10GHz to 5.27 grade for fog and 5.37 grade for clouds. The above calculated results are consistent with experimental results.
