With the advent of low-cost 3D sensors and 3D printers, scene and object 3D surface reconstruction has become an important research topic in the last years. In this work, we propose an automatic (unsupervised) method for 3D surface reconstruction from raw unorganized point clouds acquired using low-cost 3D sensors. We have modified the growing neural gas network, which is a suitable model because of its flexibility, rapid adaptation and excellent quality of representation, to perform 3D surface reconstruction of different real-world objects and scenes. Some improvements have been made on the original algorithm considering colour and surface normal information of input data during the learning stage and creating complete triangular meshes instead of basic wire-frame representations. The proposed method is able to successfully create 3D faces online, whereas existing 3D reconstruction methods based on self-organizing maps required post-processing steps to close gaps and holes produced during the 3D reconstruction process. A set of quantitative and qualitative experiments were carried out to validate the proposed method. The method has been implemented and tested on real data, and has been found to be effective at reconstructing noisy point clouds obtained using low-cost 3D sensors. 相似文献

This paper shows that breaking the barrier of 1 triangle/clock rasterization rate for microtriangles in modern GPU architectures in an efficient way is possible. The fixed throughput of the special purpose culling and triangle setup stages of the classic pipeline limits the GPU scalability to rasterize many triangles in parallel when these cover very few pixels. In contrast, the shader core counts and increasing GFLOPs in modern GPUs clearly suggests parallelizing this computation entirely across multiple shader threads, making use of the powerful wide-ALU instructions. In this paper, we present a very efficient SIMD-like rasterization code targeted at very small triangles that scales very well with the number of shader cores and has higher performance than traditional edge equation based algorithms. We have extended the ATTILA GPU shader ISA (del Barrioet al. in IEEE International Symposium on Performance Analysis of Systems and Software, pp. 231–241, 2006) with two fixed point instructions to meet the rasterization precision requirement. This paper also introduces a novel subpixel Bounding Box size optimization that adjusts the bounds much more finely, which is critical for small triangles, and doubles the 2×2-pixel stamp test efficiency. The proposed shader rasterization program can run on top of the original pixel shader program in such a way that selected fragments are rasterized, attribute interpolated and pixel shaded in the same pass. Our results show that our technique yields better performance than a classic rasterizer at 8 or more shader cores, with speedups as high as 4× for 16 shader cores. 相似文献

This paper addresses the solution of smooth trajectory planning for industrial robots in environments with obstacles using a direct method, creating the trajectory gradually as the robot moves. The presented method deals with the uncertainties associated with the lack of knowledge of kinematic properties of intermediate via‐points since they are generated as the algorithm evolves looking for the solution. Several cost functions are also proposed, which use the time that has been calculated to guide the robot motion. The method has been applied successfully to a PUMA 560 robot and four operational parameters (execution time, computational time, distance travelled and number of configurations) have been computed to study the properties and influence of each cost function on the trajectory obtained. The fractional Fourier transform (FrFT) is revisited in the framework of strongly continuous periodic semigroups to restate known results and to explore new properties of the FrFT. We then show how the FrFT can be used to reconstruct Magnetic Resonance (MR) images acquired under the presence of quadratic field inhomogeneity. Particularly, we prove that the order of the FrFT is a measure of the distortion in the reconstructed signal. Moreover, we give a dynamic interpretation to the order as time evolution of a function. We also introduce the notion of ρ-α space as an extension of the Fourier or k-space in MR, and we use it to study the distortions introduced in two common MR acquisition strategies. We formulate the reconstruction problem in the context of the FrFT and show how the semigroup theory allows us to find new reconstruction formulas for discrete sampled signals. Finally, the results are supplemented with numerical examples that show how it performs in a standard 1D MR signal reconstruction. 相似文献

In this work, we present an approach that introduces requirements traceability capabilities in the context of model-driven development of Web applications. This aspect allows us to define model-to-model transformations that not only provide a software artifact of lower abstraction (as model-to-model transformations usually do) but also to provide feedback about how they are applied. This feedback helps us to validate whether transformations are correctly applied. In particular, we present a model-to-model transformation that allows us to obtain navigational models of the Web engineering method OOWS from a requirements model. This transformation is defined as a set of mappings between these two models that have been implemented by means of graph transformations. The use of graph transformations allows us to develop a tool-supported strategy for applying mappings automatically. In addition, mechanisms for tracing requirements are also included in the definition of graph transformations. These mechanisms allow us to link each conceptual element to the requirements from which it is derived. In particular, we focus on tracing requirements throughout the navigational model, which describe the navigational structure of a Web application. To take advantage of these traceability mechanisms, we have developed a tool that obtains traceability reports after applying transformations. These reports help us to study aspects such as whether requirements are all supported, the impact of changing a requirement, or how requirements are modelled. 相似文献

Differential Matrix Riccati Equations (DMREs) appear in several branches of science such as applied physics and engineering. For example, these equations play a fundamental role in control theory, optimal control, filtering and estimation, decoupling and order reduction, etc. In this paper a new method based on a theorem proved in this paper is described for solving DMREs by a piecewise-linearized approach. This method is applied for developing two block-oriented algorithms based on diagonal Padé approximants. MATLAB versions of the above algorithms are developed, comparing, under equal conditions, accuracy and computational costs with other piecewise-linearized algorithms implemented by the authors. In this paper we proposed a new two-parameters lifetime distribution with increasing failure rate. The new distribution arises on a latent complementary risk problem base. The properties of the proposed distribution are discussed, including a formal proof of its probability density function and explicit algebraic formulae for its reliability and failure rate functions, quantiles and moments, including the mean and variance. A simple EM-type algorithm for iteratively computing maximum likelihood estimates is presented. The Fisher information matrix is derived analytically in order to obtaining the asymptotic covariance matrix. The methodology is illustrated on a real data set. 相似文献
