Biotinylated chitosan/poly(methyl vinyl ether‐alt ‐maleic acid) (PMVEMA) copolymer was synthesised by an amide reaction in two steps. Structural characterisation was performed using 1 HNMR and Fourier transform infra‐red (FTIR) spectra. Critical micelle concentration (CMC) of the copolymer was determined by pyrene as a fluorescent probe. Doxorubicin (DOX) was loaded in the micelles by the direct dissolution method. The effects of different variables including type of copolymer, copolymer concentration, stirring rate and stirring time were studied on the physicochemical properties of the micelles including: particle size, zeta potential, release efficiency and loading efficiency of nanoparticles using an irregular factorial design. The in vitro cytotoxicity of DOX‐loaded biotin‐targeted micelles was studied in HepG2 cells which over express biotin receptors by 3, 5‐[dimethylthiazol‐2‐yl]‐2, 5‐diphenyl tetrazolium bromide assay. The successful synthesis of the biotinylated copolymer of chitosan/PMVEMA was confirmed by FTIR and 1 HNMR. The optimised micelles showed the CMC of 33 μg/ml, particle size of 247 ± 2 nm, zeta potential of +9.46 mV, polydispersity index of 0.22, drug‐loading efficiency of 71% and release efficiency of 84.5 ± 1.6%. The synthesised copolymer was not cytotoxic. Crop and land cover classification in Iran using Landsat 7 imagery   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Remote sensing provides one way of obtaining more accurate information on total cropped area and crop types in irrigated areas. The technique is particularly well suited to arid and semi‐arid areas where almost all vegetative growth is associated with irrigation. In order to obtain more information with regard to crop patterns in the irrigated areas in the Zayandeh Rud basin, a classification analysis was made of the Landsat 7 image of 2 July 2000. The target of the classification was to primarily focus on the agricultural land use. The date of the image fell in the transition period where the first crops were harvested and many fields were being prepared for the second crop. The image has therefore captured an instantaneous picture of a system generally in transition from the first to the second crop, but with significant differences from system to system, both with respect to crop types and agricultural cycles. The overall accuracy of image registration was about 30 m (one pixel). Fieldwork was conducted on various occasions in August–October 2000 and May–October 2001. Farmers were interviewed to determine the situation on 2 July 2000. Fields were mapped in detail with the GPS instruments, and data compiled for 112 fields. Using a supervised classification system, training areas were selected and initial classifications were made to determine the validity of the classes. After merging several classes and testing several new classes a final classification system was made. All seven Landsat bands were used in the determination of the feature statistics. The final classification was made with the minimum distance algorithm. The statistics with respect to areas and crop type for the districts was obtained by crossing the raster map with the irrigation district raster map. The results with respect to crop type and total irrigated area per district were compared with those of previous studies. This included both NOAA/AVHRR and conventional agricultural district statistics.  相似文献

In most markets, price differentiation mechanisms enable manufacturers to offer different prices for their products or services in different customer segments; however, the perfect price discrimination is usually impossible for manufacturers. The importance of accounting for uncertainty in such environments spurs an interest to develop appropriate decision-making tools to deal with uncertain and ill-defined parameters in joint pricing and lot-sizing problems. This paper proposes a hybrid bi-objective credibility-based fuzzy optimisation model including both quantitative and qualitative objectives to cope with these issues. Taking marketing and lot-sizing decisions into account simultaneously, the model aims to maximise the total profit of manufacturer and to improve service aspects of retailing simultaneously to set different prices with arbitrage consideration. After applying appropriate strategies to defuzzify the original model, the resulting non-linear multi-objective crisp model is then solved by a fuzzy goal programming method. An efficient stochastic search procedure using particle swarm optimisation is also proposed to solve the non-linear crisp model.  相似文献

Nowadays, population growth, environmental constraints and climate change can adversely affect our water supply systems’ ability to keep up with demand. Due to lack of unsuitable distribution and dispersion of water resources, precipitation, soil resources, etc., inter-basin transfers of water could be a solution in order to balancing between supply and demand water in different areas. In this study, the optimal designing of water conveyance from basin No-1 to basin No-2 is investigated. Water is transferred between these two dams by tunnel structure. Since the water flow through the tunnel is under pressure, increasing dam height will cause the decrease of tunnel diameter for constant water conveyance efficiency. The purpose of this study is transferring 95 % of water flow between two basins after supplying the agriculture consumption and environmental needs. Therefore, the mathematical program was developed first to solve the governing equations of water balance of reservoir and hydraulic of tunnel. Then, various strategies including different diameters of tunnel and dam height were considered and finally the best strategy from economic and technical viewpoint was proposed. The results showed that dam height of 151.2 m and tunnel diameter of 3.2 m are the economic options to convey of 95 % of the water.  相似文献

In computational fluid dynamics modelling of gas–solid two phase flow, drag force is one of the dominant mechanisms for interphase momentum transfer. Despite the profusion of drag models, none of the available drag functions gives accurate results in their own original form. (Gibilaro et al., Chem. Eng. Sci. 1985; 40:1817–1823), Di Felice (Di Felice, Int. J. Multiphase Flow. 1994; 20(1):153–159), Zhang‐Reese (Zhang and Reese, Chem. Eng. Sci. 2003; 58(8):1641–1644) and Hill et al. (Hill et al., J. Fluid Mech. 2001; 448:243–278) are reviewed using a multi‐fluid model of FLUENT V6.3.26 (FLUENT, 2007. Fluent 6.3 User's Guide, 23.5 Eulerian Model, Fluent, Inc.) software with the resulting hydrodynamics parameters being compared with experimental data. The main contribution of this work is to propose an easy to implement and efficient method for adjustment of Di Felice drag law which is more efficient compared to the one proposed by Syamlal‐O'Brien. The new method adopted in this work showed a quantitative improvement compared to the adjusted drag model of Syamlal‐O'Brien. Prediction of bed expansion and pressure drop showed excellent agreement with results of experiments conducted in a Plexiglas fluidized bed. A mesh size sensitivity analysis with varied interval spacing showed that mesh interval spacing with 18 times the particle diameter and using higher order discretization methods produces acceptable results.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of lot sizing, scheduling, and delivery of several items in a two-echelon supply chain over a finite planning horizon. Single supplier produces the items through a flexible flow line and delivers them directly to an assembly facility where the transfer of sub-lots between adjacent stages of supplier’s production system (i.e., lot streaming) is allowed in order to decrease the manufacturing lead time. At first, a mixed zero-one nonlinear programming model is developed based on the so-called basic period (BP) approach aiming to minimize the average setup, inventory holding, and delivery costs per unit time in the supply chain without any stock-out. The problem is very complex and cannot be solved to optimality especially for real-sized problems. Therefore, two efficient hybrid genetic algorithms (HGA) are proposed based on the power-of-two (PTHGA) and non-power-of-two (NPTHGA) variants of BP approach. The solution qualities of the proposed algorithms are compared with a proposed lower bound. Numerical experiments demonstrate that the NPTHGA outperforms the PTHGA algorithm with respect to the solution quality, but the PTHGA outperforms the NPTHGA with respect to the computation time.  相似文献

Settlement of sediments behind weirs and accumulation of materials floating on water behind gates decreases the performance of these structures. Weir-gate is a combination of weir and gate structures which solves them Infirmities. Proposing a circular shape for crest of weirs to improve their performance, investigators have proposed cylindrical shape to improve the performance of weir-gate structure and call it cylindrical weir-gate. In this research, discharge coefficient of weir-gate was predicated using adaptive neuro fuzzy inference systems (ANFIS). To compare the performance of ANFIS with other types of soft computing techniques, multilayer perceptron neural network (MLP) was prepared as well. Results of MLP and ANFIS showed that both models have high ability for modeling and predicting discharge coefficient; however, ANFIS is a bit more accurate. The sensitivity analysis of MLP and ANFIS showed that Froude number of flow at upstream of weir and ratio of gate opening height to the diameter of weir are the most effective parameters on discharge coefficient.  相似文献

Climate change will increase the intensity, duration and/or frequency of some climate-related hazards. Responsibility for adapting to such impacts of climate change in Australia has, in the main, fallen on local governments which have paid varying degrees of attention to the issue. This paper takes an integrated approach to compare the climate adaptation and disaster resilience policies and plans of local governments of two low-lying coastal cities in Australia to understand whether (and how) local governments can make a difference. The findings indicate that local governments can significantly contribute to building resilience and adapting to climate-related hazards, however a number of factors such as the attitudes of local governments on climate change, environmental activism, and the recent experiences of climate-related disasters are instrumental for shaping a better local response. Local action also needs to be supported by a more integrated approach by all levels of government.  相似文献

A mixed-model assembly line (MMAL) is a type of production line where a variety of product models similar to product characteristics are assembled. There is a set of criteria on which to judge sequences of product models in terms of the effective utilization of this line. In this paper, we consider three objectives, simultaneously: minimizing total utility work, total production rate variation, and total setup cost. A multi-objective sequencing problem and its mathematical formulation are described. Since this type of problem is NP-hard, a new multi-objective scatter search (MOSS) is designed for searching locally Pareto-optimal frontier for the problem. To validate the performance of the proposed algorithm, in terms of solution quality and diversity level, various test problems are made and the reliability of the proposed algorithm, based on some comparison metrics, is compared with three prominent multi-objective genetic algorithms, i.e. PS-NC GA, NSGA-II, and SPEA-II. The computational results show that the proposed MOSS outperforms the existing genetic algorithms, especially for the large-sized problems.  相似文献

The aim of this article is to study the effect of time and temperature of sintering on the properties and microstructure of Al/B4C-AlB12-Al2O3 nanocomposite synthesized via in situ processing method. In this method, a mixture of Al-B2O3-C, as starting materials, was activated and reacted in a planetary ball mill under Argon atmosphere. The phase analysis, morphology, and particles size were studied by x-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy methods. The composite powders were compressed with uniaxial cold press and then were sintered at different temperatures (470-600 °C) for various times (30-90 min). The density, hardness, and compressive strength of sintered samples were investigated. The results revealed that by increasing the sintering temperature and sintering time, both hardness and compaction strength of nanocomposite reach to maximum at 560 °C. The results showed that the sample sintered at 560 °C for 90 min had highest sintered density (≈2590 kg/m3) and highest hardness value of ~88 BHN with compaction strength of ~313 MPa. Nanosize and homogeneous distribution of in situ formed ceramic particles were observed in the synthesized composite.  相似文献
