A new inspection system, consisting of two procedures for the authentication of coins, is proposed in this paper. In the first procedure, optimum image-matching positions are found by minimizing the matching error of the test coins with their prototype coins. The second procedure is the decision-making process that inspects the coins as genuine or spurious by the Back-Propagation Neural Network combined with the concept of eigen-section. Unlike the traditional approach based on gray-level values, the quantity (8 bits) of the color’s scale has been adopted. The discrimination results are presented and discussed in this study.  相似文献

In modern systems, many well-known techniques (e.g., dynamic voltage and frequency scaling, job scheduling etc.) have been developed to achieve low power, high performance, appropriate quality-of-service or other specific purposes. Workload prediction is an extremely critical factor for bringing these techniques into full play. However, it is very difficult to accurately predict the workloads of upcoming tasks if they are varying drastically. In this paper, we propose a new hybrid fuzzy-Kalman filter and the corresponding area-efficient hardware architecture to accurately and quickly predict the workload with large variation. To decrease the hardware complexity while maintaining sufficient accuracy, the computation of Kalman Gain is simplified with a lookup table method. In addition, the workload and covariance values in Kalman filter are properly normalized and truncated to significantly reduce the bit length of hybrid workload predictor. Furthermore, a simplified fuzzy controller is developed to adaptively adjust the measurement noise covariance of Kalman filter so that the prediction error can be further lowered. Experimental results of real applications exhibit that the proposed hybrid fuzzy-Kalman filter can achieve lower prediction error and smaller hardware area when compared to previous workload predictors.  相似文献

出芽的水稻种子由于含水率较高,流动性差,芽容易损伤,故直播时难以保证较低的伤芽率.为了降低水稻芽种直播的伤芽率,根据振动改变物料特性的原理设计了一种振动式水稻芽种直播装置,并进行相关计算证明振动排种的可行性.同时以振动参数为影响因素,以伤芽率为试验指标,测定了伤芽率与其影响因素的关系.结果表明,选择振动频率为50Hz,振幅为0.8mm,振动倾角为4°时排种均匀性良好,且有效的解决了播种过程中幼芽损伤问题.  相似文献

In this study, a non-selenized CuInGaSe2 (CIGS) solar device with textured zinc oxide (ZnO) antireflection coatings was studied. The ZnO nanostructure was fabricated by a low-temperature aqueous solution deposition method. With controlling the morphology of the solution-grown tapered ZnO nanorod coatings, the average reflectance of the CIGS solar device decreased from 8.6% to 2.1%, and the energy conversion efficiency increased from 9.1% to 11.1%. The performance improvement in the CuInGaSe2 thin-film solar cell was well explained due to the gradual increase of the refractive index between air and the top electrode of solar cell device by the insertion of the ZnO nanostructure. The results demonstrate a potential application of the ZnO nanostructure array for efficient solar device technology.  相似文献

This paper reports the qualities of WO3 film and NiO film added to a counter electrode and their use in a double-sided electrochromic glass device. A mixture of argon and oxygen gasses with ratios of Ar/O2 of 1.5, 2, 3, and 5 were used for the deposition of the working electrode of WO3 film for EC glass. The structure of double-side EC glass consists of glass/ITO/NiO/electrolyte/WO3/ITO/glass/ITO/WO3/electrolyte/NiO/ITO/glass layers. The working electrode of WO3 film controls the color presented, the applied voltage controls the color depth, and the counter electrode controls the transparency in the bleached state. The double-sided EC glass with double WO3 films and double NiO films have faster coloration/bleaching rates than do single-sided EC glass. A mixture of Ar/O2 ratio of 3.0 has the best coloration/bleaching property of the ratios tested. Compared to the single-sided EC glass, the double-sided EC glass has lower transmittance of about 72% and 6% than the 78% and 12% during coloration and bleaching states in the visible light region with +1.5 V and ?3.5 V applied.  相似文献

Composite membranes used for proton exchange membrane fuel cells comprising of polybenzimidazole (PBI) and carbon nanotubes with certain functional groups were studied, because they could enhance both the mechanical property and fuel cell performance at the same time. In this study, sodium poly(4-styrene sulfonate) functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNT-poly(NaSS))/PBI and imidazole functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNT-imidazole)/PBI composite membranes were prepared. The functionalization of carbon nanotubes involving non-covalent modification and covalent modification were confirmed by FITR, XPS, Raman spectroscopy, and TGA. Compared to unmodified MWNTs and MWNT-poly(NaSS), MWNT-imidazole provided more significant mechanical reinforcement due to its better compatibility with PBI. For MWNT-poly(NaSS)/PBI and MWNT-imidazole/PBI composite membranes at their saturated doping levels, the proton conductivities were up to 5.1 × 10−2 and 4.3 × 10−2 S/cm at 160 °C under anhydrous condition respectively, which were slightly higher than pristine PBI (2.8 × 10−2 S/cm). Also, MWNT-poly(NaSS)/PBI and MWNT-imidazole/PBI composite membranes showed relatively improved fuel cell performance at 170 °C compared to pristine PBI.  相似文献

The isothermal crystallization behavior of α‐cellulose short‐fiber reinforced poly(lactic acid) composites (PLA/α‐cellulose) was examined using a differential scanning calorimeter and a petrographic microscope. Incorporating a natural micro‐sized cellulose filler increased the spherulite growth rate of the PLA from 3.35 μm/min for neat PLA at 105°C to a maximum of 5.52 μm/min for the 4 wt % PLA/α‐cellulose composite at 105°C. In addition, the inclusion of α‐cellulose significantly increased the crystallinities of the PLA/α‐cellulose composites. The crystallinities for the PLA/α‐cellulose composites that crystallized at 125°C were 48–58%, higher than that of the neat PLA for ~13.5–37.2%. The Avrami exponent n values for the neat and PLA/α‐cellulose composites ranged from 2.50 to 2.81 and from 2.45 to 3.44, respectively, and the crystallization rates K of the PLA/α‐cellulose composites were higher than those of the neat PLA. The activation energies of crystallization for the PLA/α‐cellulose composites were higher than that of the neat PLA. The inclusion of α‐cellulose imparted more nucleating sites to the PLA polymer. A soft-switching bidirectional DC–DC converter is presented herein as a way to improve the conversion efficiency of a photovoltaic (PV) system. Adoption of coupled inductors enables the presented converter not only to provide a high-conversion ratio but also to suppress the transient surge voltage via the release of the energy stored in leakage flux of the coupled inductors, and the cost can kept down consequently. A combined use of a switching mechanism and an auxiliary resonant branch enables the converter to successfully perform zero-voltage switching operations on the main switches and improves the efficiency accordingly. It was testified by experiments that our proposed converter works relatively efficiently in full-load working range. Additionally, the framework of the converter intended for testifying has high-conversion ratio. The results of a test, where a generating system using PV module array coupled with batteries as energy storage device was used as the low-voltage input side, and DC link was used as high-voltage side, demonstrated our proposed converter framework with high-conversion ratio on both high-voltage and low-voltage sides.  相似文献
