A new emulsion-type paint was prepared by utilizing a nano-composite emulsion (NCE), which contained nano-size particles (ca. 60 nm in diameter) consisting of silica (inorganic core, ca. 30 nm in diameter) and polyacrylate (organic shell), and evaluated as wall paint. By applying NCE for the wall paint, about 35 wt.% of the organic content in the paint could be reduced in comparison with the commodity emulsion-type paint, which is highly effective to save the petroleum resources. The basic properties of the white NCE paint film on gloss, surface hardness, adhesion, and solvent resistance were evaluated and compared with those of acrylic emulsion-type paints as well as those of silica-containing paints which were prepared simply by blending the acrylic emulsion with silica sol. The NCE paint was especially excellent in solvent resistance. Then the practical tests were performed to evaluate its appropriateness as wall paint, which clarified the excellent antipollution property and the high flame resistance of the NCE paint.  相似文献

The SiMn-graphite composite powder was prepared by mechanical ball milling and its electrochemical performances were evaluated as the candidate anode materials for lithium ion batteries. It is found that the cyclic performance of the composite materials is improved significantly compared to SiMn alloy and pure silicon. The heat treatment of the electrodes is beneficial for enhancing the cyclic stabilities. The SiMn-20 wt.% graphite composite electrode after annealing at 200 °C has an initial reversible capacity of 463 mAh g−1 and a charge-discharge efficiency of 70%. Moreover, the reversible capacity maintains 426 mAh g−1 after 30 cycles with a coulomb efficiency of over 97%. The phase structure and morphology of the composite were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy. The lithiation/delithiation behavior was investigated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and cyclic voltammetry. The composite materials appear to be promising candidates as negative electrodes for lithium rechargeable batteries.  相似文献

Poly(L ‐lactic acid) (PLLA: Mw = 19.4 × 104)/poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG: Mw = 400) blend films were formed by use of a solvent‐cast technique. The properties and structures of these blend films were investigated. The Young's modulus of the PLLA decreased from 1220 to 417 MPa with the addition of PEG 5 wt %, but the elongation at break increased from 19 to 126%. The melting point of PLLA linearly decreased with increases in the PEG content (i.e., pure PLLA: 172.5°C, PLLA/PEG = 60/40 wt %: 159.6°C). The PEG 20 wt % blend film had a porous structure. The pore diameter was 3–5 μm. The alkali hydrolysis rate of this blend film was accelerated due to its porous structure. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 94: 965–970, 2004  相似文献

Spin dynamics of3He-4He dilute solution have been studied in the collisionless regime by NMR methods. In cw NMR experiments, we observed spin waves in a magnetic field gradient. The frequency difference between the first mode and the others obeyed a two-thirds power law in the strength of the field gradient. By using a pulsed NMR method, nonlinear spin dynamics were studied. We observed the large amplitude spin waves after an rf pulse. The frequency of each spin-wave mode depended on the tipping angle. By using the parameter determined in the present experiment, the numerical calculated results based on Leggett-Rice theory are in good agreement with the results of the pulsed NMR experiments.  相似文献

The tele‐cocooning hypothesis posits that mobile communication increases interaction with communication rich ties, while simultaneously weakening interaction with communication weak ties. In this study, we demonstrate how smartphones can be used to mitigate tele‐cocooning behavior by stimulating interaction with communication weak ties. Using a smartphone application to collect non‐identifying mobile communication log data, we conducted a field experiment with 193 Japanese participants. The treatment consisted of onscreen reminders designed to stimulate interaction with communication weak ties. The results indicate that the treatment promoted the activation of communication weak ties and the acquisition of information through those ties, suggesting that smartphones can be utilized to promote access to social capital.  相似文献

We have cooled a3He-4He dilute solution down to 97 K, which is the lowest temperature ever been achieved in a dilute mixture. However, there is no sign of the superfluid transition of3He quasiparticles in the solution. In the sub-millikelvin region, we have measured the thermal boundary resistance between the solutions and sintered metal powder as a function of temperature T. We find that the thermal boundary resistence is proportional to T–2 below 1 mK and that the resistance shows a strong dependence on magnetic fields below 0.1 T. These results suggest that the magnetic coupling is dominant in this temperature region. We have also estimated the heat leak into the dilute solution. It is found that the heat leak is proportional to the power of one third of inverse time, and the main source of the heat leak is ascribed to the viscous movement of3He quasiparticles.  相似文献

Thick silica films were prepared by the electrophoretic sol–gel deposition technique in the presence of poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) using monodispersed silica particles; the particles were prepared by the sol–gel method, pre-heat treated and then re-dispersed in the mixture of H2O and ethanol. The weight of deposited silica films was maximized when 0.2 mass % of PAA against the whole amount of sol was added. The particles constructing the thick silica films were packed densely when the amount of added PAA was less than 0.2 mass%. The weight of the film increased with decrease in the content of H2O in the sol when a fixed amount of PAA was added. After the heat treatment of deposited films at 800 °C, crack-free silica films of about 30 m thickness were prepared. © 1998 Chapman & Hall  相似文献
