This research is concerned with the analysis of post-buckling of a nano-composite beam reinforced by graphene plateletes (GPLs) having geometrical imperfection. GPLs are uniformly and nonuniformly distributed thorough the thickness direction. Different porosity distributions are considered. The elastic properties of the nanocomposite are obtained by employing Halpin-Tsai micromechanics model. The postbuckling load-deflection relation is obtained by solving the governing equations having cubic nonlinearity applying Galerkin's method needless of any iteration process. New results show the importance of porosity coefficient, porosity distribution, GPL distribution, GPL weight fraction, geometrical imperfection, and foundation parameters on nonlinear buckling behavior of porous nanoscale beams. Specially, porosities and GPL reinforcement have a great impact on postbuckling configuration of both ideal and imperfect nanocomposite beams.  相似文献

A study of Sinc-Galerkin method based on double exponential transformation for solving a class of nonlinear weakly singular two point boundary value problems with non-homogeneous boundary conditions is given. The properties of the Sinc-Galerkin approach are utilized to reduce the computation of nonlinear problem to nonlinear system of equations with unknown coefficients. This method tested on several test examples. We compare our numerical results with several numerical results of existing methods. The demonstrated results confirm that proposed method is considerably efficient, accurate nature and rapidly converge.  相似文献

In ultracapacitor applications, generally, a bi-directional converter is connected to a DC bus and is designed to compensate rapid load variations on the bus. During transient phases, overloaded DC bus can push the converter out of its operating limits. For providing the necessary power, converters should be put in parallel, while each converter is limited into its optimal operating range. In a boost converter, this operating limit can be related to the inductor current and UC voltage. In this study, a variable current-limit is proposed for inductor current which then determines the operating range of the boost converter. This method will provide stability of the converter during overload transients. An experimental setup consisting of a bi-directional converter, a controllable load/source, and an ultracapacitor is presented, to validate the proposed method. Several scenarii are applied to analyze the performance of the system in overloaded phases and theoretical and experimental results are presented.  相似文献
