A novel compact ring dual-mode filter with adjustable second-passband for dual-band applications

In this letter, a novel compact ring dual-mode with adjustable second-passband for dual-band applications are presented. A ring resonator with two different geometric dimensions are derived and designed to have identical fundamental and the first higher-order resonant frequencies, and to establish appropriate couplings in the structure. Moreover, the proposed filter has smaller size as compared with the basic topology of stopband filters and stepped-impedance-resonator (SIR) filters. The measured filter performance is in good agreement with the simulated response.     

用AFM导电探针在n-Si(111)表面进行纳米加工的机理研究

本文介绍了在AFM针尖与氢钝化硅表面之间施加电场作用对硅表面进行修饰的纳米加工方法，重点讨论了加工机理。实验考虑了样品的表面状态，周围大气状况，所加电压的极性、大小和加压方式等影响纳米加工的因素。对机理的研究表明，针尖和样品之间发生的是场致电子发射而非热电子发射，电流热效应增强粒子的扩散能力，提高了电化学反应速度。最后给出了电场诱导阳极氧化扩散增强的加工机理。     

Field Static Load Test on Kao-Ping-Hsi Cable-Stayed Bridge

Field load testing is an effective method for understanding the behavior and fundamental characteristics of a cable-stayed bridge. This paper presents the results of field static load tests on the Kao-Ping-Hsi cable-stayed bridge, the longest cable-stayed bridge in Taiwan, before it was open to traffic. A total of 40 loading cases, including the unit and distributed bending and torsion loading effects, were conducted to investigate the bridge behavior. The atmospheric temperature effect on the variations of the main girder deflections was also monitored. The results of static load testing include the main girder deflections, the flexural strains of the prestressed concrete girder, and the variations of the cable forces. A three-dimensional finite-element model was developed. The results show that the bridge under the planned load test conditions has linear superposition characteristics and the analytical model shows a very good agreement with the bridge responses. Further discussion of deflection and cable forces of the design specifications for a cable-stayed bridge is also presented.     

硫化氢吸收液的电化学分解条件研究

理想的脱硫工艺应满足体积小、费用低、净化度高、无二次污染等要求。在碱性溶液吸收微量硫化氢时同步进行电解，可有效减小设备体积，并将硫化氢转变为氢气和硫磺，不产生恶性气味。为此，实验研究了温度、浓度、电流密度、pH值等因素对电解阳极过程的影响，确定了适宜的电解条件，并在该条件下进行了吸收实验。结果表明，在最佳电解条件下，硫化钠溶液能充分吸收天然气中经变压吸附提浓的硫化氢（800 mg/m³），吸收率大于99.9％。     

微杯电子纸及其后加工制程

SiPix利用独特的微杯(Microcup)结构和顶部灌注封装技术，通过连续整卷高速涂布的制程成功地制造出高性能的双稳性、装填电泳微粒的电子纸。SiPix可提供下列两种规格形式任意的EPD卷式成品：(A)用于有源矩阵EPD和直接驱动产品的可剥离保护膜／已灌装及密封的Microcup／无图案导体膜夹层卷；及（P）用于无源矩阵的行导体膜／已灌装及密封的Microcup／列导体膜夹层卷。已经开发出将EPD卷制成不同的显示模块或产品的简单的后续加工制程。     

Inhibition effect of carbon dioxide on the oxidation of hydrogen over a platinum foil catalyst

This paper investigates the catalytic ignition of the H₂/O₂/CO₂ mixture on platinum in a stagnation flow at atmospheric pressure experimentally and numerically. We measure the ignition temperatures of the gas mixtures flowing towards resistively heated platinum with various composition ratios and various diluent gases of N₂, Ar and CO₂. Compared with N₂ or Ar, the CO₂ dilution shows higher ignition temperature by about 50 K, even at the same composition ratio. The ignition temperature increase is proportional to the dilution ratio. Through the numerical simulation, it is illustrated that higher ignition temperature is caused by the adsorption of CO₂ and following dissociation on platinum surface, which was to date considered negligible in catalytic combustion.     

An adaptive p-persistent MAC scheme for multimedia WLAN

The letter proposes an adaptive p-persistent-based (APP) medium access control (MAC) scheme for the IEEE 802.11e distributed WLAN supporting multimedia services. The APP MAC scheme adaptively gives differentiated permission probabilities to transmission stations which are in different access category and with various waiting delay. Simulation results show that the APP MAC scheme can improve the performance of multimedia WLAN, such as small voice packet dropping probability, low delay variation, and high system throughput, compared to conventional MAC algorithms     

ESD protection design to overcome internal damage on interface circuits of a CMOS IC with multiple separated power pins

This paper reports a real case of electrostatic discharge (ESD) improvement on a complementary metal oxide semiconductor integrated circuit (IC) product with multiple separated power pins. After ESD stresses, the internal damage have been found to locate at the interface circuit connecting between different circuit blocks with different power supplies. Some ESD designs have been implemented to rescue this IC product to meet the required ESD specification. By adding only an extra ESD clamp N-channel metal oxide semiconductor with a channel width of 10 /spl mu/m between the interface node and the ground line, the human-body-model (HBM) ESD level of this IC product can be improved from the original 0.5 to 3 kV. By connecting the separated vertical sync signal (VSS) power lines through the ESD conduction circuit to a common VSS ESD bus realized by the seal ring, the HBM ESD level of the enhanced version IC product with 12 separated power supplies pairs can be significantly improved from original 1 kV up to > 5 kV, without the noise coupling issue.     

Using buried capacitor in LTCC-MLC balun

A novel chip-type ceramic balun designed in the 2.4 GHz ISM band frequency is presented. A buried capacitor is included in the balun, so that the length of the coupled transmission lines can be reduced and can be designed very easily. A meander or spiral broadside coupled-line is adopted to realise the proposed LTCC multi-layer balun. The measured performances of phase and amplitude balance for this LTCC-MLC balun show a good match with computer simulation     

用软件实现曼彻斯特编译码方法的研究

介绍了在测井仪器中如何用单片机软件编程将井下仪测试数据实现曼彻斯特编码、发送传输 ,及地面解码等方法 ;阐述了井下仪实现双极性曼彻斯特码差分化的技术原理 ,地面译码时同步识别、数据采集、数据串 /并转换等技术方法 ,以及该方法在实践中应用情况。实际应用表明 ,该技术传 /收数据稳定可靠 ,智能化程度高 ,大大地简化了仪器硬件电路 ,提高了仪器性能价格比 ,在生产测井领域具有良好的推广应用前景。
