A novel SBA-16-related synthesis of mesostructured silica containing framework aluminum is reported here. This material was successfully synthesized using aluminum sulphate and the pH-adjusting method. The structural and porosity properties of this novel material were studied by X-ray diffraction and N2 adsorption at 77 K. The Al insertion was determined by 27Al-MAS-NMR and the acidity was monitored by infrared spectroscopy of CO adsorption at 100 K. 相似文献

Pure geometric isomers of conjugated linoleic acid were prepared from castor oil as the primary starting material. Methyl
octadeca-9Z, 11E-dienoate (2) and methyl octadeca-9Z, 11Z-dienoate (4) were obtained by zinc reduction of methyl santalbate (1, methyl octadec-11E-en-9-ynoate) and methyl octadec-11 Z-en-9-ynoate (3), respectively, as the key intermediates. Methyl octadeca-9E, 11E-dienoate (8) and methyl octadeca-9E, 11Z-dienoate (9) were prepared by demesylation of the mesyloxy derivative of methyl ricinelaidate (6, methyl 12-hydroxy-octadec-9 E-enoate). BACKGROUND: Little is known about the influence of liver transplantation on the pharmacokinetics of most anesthetic drugs. The authors determined the pharmacokinetics of rocuronium during liver transplantation and examined whether variability in pharmacokinetics could explain variability in recovery of neuromuscular function. METHODS: Twenty patients undergoing liver transplantation were given rocuronium, 600 microg/kg, after induction of anesthesia and again after perfusion of the transplanted liver. Plasma was sampled to determine rocuronium concentrations. Pharmacokinetic models were fit to rocuronium concentrations versus time data using a mixed-effects population approach. Various models permitted changes in clearance (Cl) or central compartment volume to account for changes in hepatic function and circulatory status during the paleohepatic, anhepatic, and neohepatic periods. Time to initial recovery of four twitches of the orbicularis oculi was determined. RESULTS: During the paleohepatic and anhepatic periods, the typical value of Cl was 2.47 ml x kg(-1) x min(-1) and was not influenced by the magnitude of preexisting liver disease (as evidenced by prothrombin time, bilirubin, serum albumin, alanine transaminase [ALT], and aspartate transaminase [AST]). During the neohepatic period, the typical value of Cl varied as a function of the duration of warm ischemia of the hepatic allograft and was 2.72 ml x kg(-1) x min(-1) for a patient with an average 60-min period of warm ischemia; time to neuromuscular recovery varied as a function of Cl. CONCLUSIONS: Despite prolonged hypothermic ischemia, the newly transplanted liver eliminates rocuronium as well as the diseased native liver (and comparably with historical control values). However, some patients had decreased rocuronium Cl during the neohepatic period, apparently a result of prolonged graft warm ischemia. The authors' finding of preservation of hepatic drug elimination in the hepatic allograft is consistent with limited data for other drugs evaluated during anesthesia. 相似文献

Texture mapping is a method commonly used to increase the visual complexity of computer generated images while maintaining simplicity in the underlying geometric models. Texture maps are generally defined in two dimensional space; thus, a primary problem when applying textures to objects is determining a mapping transformation from the three dimensional space of the object to the two dimensional space of the map. A method for mapping complex polygonal geometries is presented. The algorithmunfolds the object polygon by polygon and projects the texture map onto the resulting two dimensional geometry. Enhancements to the basic unfolding algorithm either (1) control the location of map distorition introduced at areas of severe curvature or (2) average distortions over a larger area. 相似文献

Several types of detectors are reported, ranging from small-area ones suitable for PINFET implementation to broad-area general-purpose devices for both long- and short-wavelength applications. Administered the Self-Rating Depression Scale (SRDS) an average of 63 days post-injury to 58 acute spinal cord injury (SCI) patients (aged 18–55 yrs) and 51 age-matched healthy controls (CTLs). Mean SRDS scores were 37.1 for CTLs and 49.0 for SCI Ss. Several factors, including age, yrs of education, level of injury (paraplegic vs quadriplegic), etiology of injury (violent vs nonviolent), presence of acute closed head injury, or recent history of alcohol or substance abuse, had no association with SRDS scores. Since undiagnosed and untreated depression may compromise an SCI patient's adaptation to injury and motivation during rehabilitation, abnormally elevated SRDS scores may help to determine which patients might require more focused psychological assessment and treatment. Inverse‐electron‐demand Diels–Alder cycloaddition (DAinv) between strained alkenes and tetrazines is a highly bio‐orthogonal reaction that has been applied in the specific labeling of biomolecules. In this work we present a two‐step labeling protocol for the site‐specific labeling of proteins based on attachment of a highly stable norbornene derivative to a specific peptide sequence by using a mutant of the enzyme lipoic acid ligase A (LplAW37V), followed by the covalent attachment of tetrazine‐modified fluorophores to the norbornene moiety through the bio‐orthogonal DAinv . We investigated 15 different norbornene derivatives for their selective enzymatic attachment to a 13‐residue lipoic acid acceptor peptide (LAP) by using a standardized HPLC protocol. Finally, we used this two‐step labeling strategy to label proteins in cell lysates in a site‐specific manner and performed cell‐surface labeling on living cells. 相似文献
