The Feasibility Study on Commercialized Fast Reactor (FR) Cycle Systems is under progress in order to propose prominent FR cycle systems that will respond to the diverse needs of society in the future. The design studies on various FR system concepts have been achieved and then the evaluations of potential to achieve the development targets have been also carried out. Crucial development issues have been found out for each FR system concept and their development plans for the key technologies are summarized as the roadmap. As a result, it has been confirmed that the sodium-cooled FR concept is highly suited to the development targets and R&D issues are related enhancing the economy with certain perspectives for realization. A flexible and robust development program for the FR cycle system will be proposed taking account of the characteristics for each FR concept until the end of the Phase II study. 相似文献
We have measured both secondary neutral and ionized particles from an InSb target under 3.0 MeV Si ion bombardment. Measurements of both ions and neutrals have not been carried out so far in the MeV-energy range. The mass spectra and axial emission energy distributions of secondary particles were investigated. Secondary ions were measured with a linear- and a reflective-type time-of-flight technique, whereas secondary neutral particles were photo-ionized by a UV pulsed laser (ArF: 193 nm) and measured with a reflective-type time-of-flight technique. Different results were obtained for neutral particles in comparison with ionized particles. The mean energy of neutral Sb atoms was much lower than that of neutral In atoms, whereas the mean energies of secondary In and Sb ions were nearly equal. 相似文献
Transition metal–dioxygen complexes, which have been studied intensively in relevance to the active species of oxygenation with dioxygen molecule, are classified according to the extent of electron transfer from the metal center(s) to the O2 ligand. A new O2-activation method via a higher valent bis(μ-oxo) dimetal species resulting from extensive electron transfer is proposed on the basis of the results of our bioinorganic studies on the dioxygen complexes supported by the hydrotris(3,5-diisopropylpyrazolyl)borate ligand (TpiPr). 相似文献
Praseodymium-doped glasses were prepared in the Ga-Na-S (GNS) system and their optical properties were studied. A single-mode fiber with an attenuation loss of 1.2 dB/m at a wavelength of 1.31 μm was fabricated using an extrusion method, and the amplification characteristics were measured in the bidirectional pumping configuration. We demonstrated a gain coefficient of 0.81 dB/mW at a wavelength of 1.34 μm, which is the highest we have ever reported, and achieved a net gain of 32 dB for a pump power of 90 mW. Highly efficient optical amplification at a wavelength of 1.3 μm was demonstrated in the praseodymium-doped GNS fiber. 相似文献
4‐Aryl‐2(1H)‐quinolones were efficiently synthesized via copper‐catalyzed hydroarylation of (o‐aminophenyl)propiolates with arylboronic acid neopentyl glycol esters. The substrate propiolates were prepared from the corresponding silylalkynes with carbon dioxide by Kondo’s carboxylation method using N,N‐dimethylformamide as a solvent. Hydroarylation was performed in the presence of 3 mol% copper(II) acetate in methanol at 28 °C for 12 h and subsequent deprotection using trifluoromethanesulfonic acid (3.0 equiv.) at 65 °C for 2 h in the same pot to afford the desired 4‐aryl‐2(1H)‐quinolones in 39–89% yields.
ABSTRACTIn order to confirm the efficacy of liposomes as a drug carrier for atherosclerotic therapy, the influence of particle size on the distribution of liposomes to atherosclerotic lesions in mice was investigated. In brief, liposomes of three different particle sizes (500, 200, and 70 nm) were prepared, and the uptake of liposomes by the macrophages and foam cells in vitro and the biodistributions of liposomes administered intravenously to atherogenic mice in vivo were examined. The uptake by the macrophages and foam cells increased with the increase in particle size. Although the elimination rate from the blood circulation and the hepatic and splenic distribution increased with the increase in particle size in atherogenic mice, the aortic distribution was independent of the particle size. The aortic distribution of 200 nm liposomes was the highest in comparison with the other sizes. Surprisingly, the aortic distribution of liposomes in vivo did not correspond with the uptake by macrophages and foam cells in vitro. These results suggest that there is an optimal size for the distribution of liposomes to atherosclerotic lesions. 相似文献

was shown by comparing two different regions with different ratios of pores formed by shrinkage and gas. It was shown that

Adsorption equilibrium data in lumped water quality indices obtained for diluted solutions of a peat water and effluents from a wastewater treatment were analyzed using the ideal adsorbed solution theory with the Freundlich equation. The use of the same value for Freundlich exponent 1∕n in the ideal adsorbed solution theory resulted in a straightforward and less computationally demanding expression to describe an overall batch adsorption isotherm. A fictive component approach, assuming a logarithmic normal distribution of Freundlich K and a nonadsorbable fraction, adequately described and predicted the overall isotherms for different initial concentrations of diluted solutions presented as a lumped water quality index. The parameters in the distributed fictive component approach were independently sensitive to each portion of an isotherm curvature. Preferential adsorption of the smaller molecular weight (MW) components was observed by a size-exclusion high-performance liquid chromatography. Two-dimensional distribution analysis of organics in terms of Freundlich K and MW revealed a weak tendency of the adsorptive strength to decrease with the increase of the MW. 相似文献
Based on the present state of the art of the separation technology, recycling of fission-product rare elements (FRE) in the FBR spent fuel is discussed. The rad.-waste fractionation is in accordance with the present society's trend toward zero-emission, and the mean of salt-free method utilizing electrochemistry agrees with the principles of the newly established green chemistry. A catalytic electrolytic extraction method is proposed to separate the target, radioactive but potentially strategic elements, Pd, Ru, Rh, Re (Tc), Te and Se dissolved in the HLLW. It avoids secondary waste arising. This method is particularly feasible for the separation of Pd where cyclic reaction of metal cations such as Pd(II) or Fe(II), acting as promoters or mediators and already contained in HLLW, accelerates the electrochemical deposition of Ru, Rh and Re. Elemental separation not only offers alternative material resources to meet expanding demands for catalysts in Fuel Cell/Soft Energy system but is also the first step for transmutation or other selective strategies for waste management of long-lived fission products (LLFP). 相似文献
