Separations of derivatized amino acid enantiomers by cyclodextrin-modified capillary electrophoresis: mechanistic and molecular modeling studies

The enantiomers of 5-dimethylamino-1-naphthalene sulfonyl (DNS)-derivatives of selected amino acids were successfully separated using capillary electrophoresis (CE) employing cyclodextrins (CD) as enantio-selective running buffer additives. A previously described model for retention and chiral recognition in CD-modified CE is shown to adapt well in this application. Resolution of the isomers is strongly influenced by the type and concentration of cyclodextrin employed, as predicted by the model. Although data indicates differences in the electrophoretic mobilities for some of the completely complexed enantiomer pairs, selectivity generally requires exploiting differences in the amino acid-CD complexation constants for enantiomer pairs. In this work, the D-enantiomers exhibit larger formation constants and are complexed to a greater degree (elute first) at moderate CD concentration. When mixtures of amino acids are analyzed, the effects of separation conditions on general elution behavior must be considered or separated enantiomer pairs will co-elute with other enantiomers. Preliminary results aimed at predicting the strength of DNS-amino acid enantiomer-CD interactions based on molecular modeling studies are presented. A statistical mechanical approach to treating computationally derived enantiomer-CD interaction energies is shown to provide reasonable correlation with separation performance.

传统的电信业务支撑系统不能随外部需求的变化而进行相应的功能重组。本文结合业务能力封装的思想提出了一种基于面向对象的层次着色Petri网的业务支撑系统建模方法。该模型首层Petri给出了电信业务运营管理的总体框架,在次层Petri网子页中对综合计费账务系统的动态流程进行了详细的描述,最后以计费子页的Petri网模型为例,说明了如何提高模型的重用性,证明了该模型是可行的并能有效满足重组的要求。

Formation of Proto-Kranz in C3 Rice Induced by Spike-Stalk Injection Method

Introduction of C4 photosynthetic traits into C3 crops is an important strategy for improving photosynthetic capacity and productivity. Here, we report the research results of a variant line of sorghum–rice (SR) plant with big panicle and high spikelet density by introducing sorghum genome DNA into rice by spike-stalk injection. The whole-genome resequencing showed that a few sorghum genes could be integrated into the rice genome. Gene expression was confirmed for two C4 photosynthetic enzymes containing pyruvate, orthophosphate dikinase and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase. Exogenous sorghum DNA integration induced a series of key traits associated with the C4 pathway called “proto-Kranz” anatomy, including leaf thickness, bundle sheath number and size, and chloroplast size in bundle sheath cells. Significantly, transgenic plants exhibited enhanced photosynthetic capacity resulting from both photosynthetic CO₂-concentrating effect and improved energy balance, which led to an increase in carbohydrate levels and productivity. Furthermore, such rice plant exhibited delayed leaf senescence. In summary, this study provides a proof for the feasibility of inducing the transition from C3 leaf anatomy to proto-Kranz by spike-stalk injection to achieve efficient photosynthesis and increase productivity.     

TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE UPON VISCOSITY OF Ni-P ALLOY ON AMORPHOUS FORMATION

The viscous flow of amorphous alloys near T_gis closely related to the viscosity of liquid alloys.On the basis of the measured surface tension and density for Ni-P binary alloys,the correla-tion between the viscosity of the melt and viscous flow process of the amorphous alloy is inves-tigated.The relationship between viscosity and temperature for Ni-P alloys going from liquidto amorphous solid may be described by the following formula:     

Ring hydrogenation of naphthalene and 1-naphthol over supported metal catalysts in supercritical carbon dioxide solvent

Catalytic ring hydrogenations of naphthalene and 1-naphthol were studied over several supported metal catalysts in supercritical carbon dioxide solvent at low temperature. Higher concentration of hydrogen in supercritical carbon dioxide and lower reaction temperature were responsible for higher catalyst activity and selectivities to the desired partial ring hydrogenated products as compared with those observed in organic solvent for the same catalyst.     

裂解碳四深加工与资源优化

中国石化天津石化公司乙烯厂裂解碳四深加工采用加氢后生产甲基叔丁基醚(MTBE)和1-丁烯的方案，开车以来由于丁二烯价格居高不下而l-丁烯价格下滑，效益并未达到理想状况。通过对各种原料组成比较，考虑资源综合利用情况建议使用丁二烯装置抽余碳四替代裂解碳四，达到资源优化，效益提升的目的。     

浅析SRT-Ⅳ裂解炉炉管弯曲及断裂原因

主要分析计算了裂解炉炉管受力情况，进而得出结论：裂解炉自身结构的相互约束力和炉管渗碳是导致炉管弯曲、断裂的主要原因，并提出了相应的解决措施。     

XH—14（15）直流不停电电源控制系统的改造

对ＸＨ－１４（１５）直流不停电电源控制系统存在的问题作了较全面剖析，所提出的和集控单元改造原控制系统是可行的。试验和运行结果表明，改造的新一代控制系统能较理想地满足负载要求。
