In this work, we deal with the 1D compressible fluid coupled with elastic solid in an Eulerian-Lagrangian system. To facilitate
the analysis, the Naviers equation for elastic solid is cast into a 2×2 system similar to the Euler equation but in Lagrangian
coordinate. The modified Ghost Fluid Method is employed to treat the fluid-elastic solid coupling, where an Eulerian-Lagrangian
Riemann problem is defined and a nonlinear characteristic from the fluid and a Riemann invariant from the solid are used to
predict and define the ghost fluid states. Theoretical analysis shows that the present approach is accurate in the sense of
approximating the solution of the Riemann problem at the interface. Numerical validation of this approach is also accomplished
by extensive comparison to 1D problems (both water-solid and gas-solid) with their respective analytical solutions.

This paper presents a novel digital data modulation and demodulation algorithm ARDMA based on the principles of autoregressive modeling (AR) of speech production. In the first step a sustained voiced speech signal characteristics are analyzed using autoregressive modeling principle and then the two sets of linear prediction (LPC) coefficients are obtained and converted to linear spectrum frequencies (LSF). The input binary data stream drives the selection mechanism of LSF coefficients which are then applied as filter coefficients of the modulation signal synthesis filter. This filter is excited with specially designed excitation signal which corresponds to the basic characteristics of typical excitation signal of human vocal tract. Finally, a speech-alike modulation signal is produced. This modulation signal is then sent through the voice channel of the GSM system. The demodulator analyzes the incoming modulation signal using autoregressive modeling. The most likely LSF vector which modulated the particular symbol was determined by the demodulation process and converted to the respective string of binary data. The performance of proposed modulation scheme was compared to the regular frequency shift keying method (FSK). The performance improvement of ARDMA against FSK is observed at higher bit-rates in the case of three compared GSM speech coders. 相似文献

Metallic nickel (Ni) was successfully dispersed onto a polyaniline (PANI) matrix by a simple one‐step electrochemical method. Ni particles as deposited onto the polymer seemed to be much smaller compared to those deposited onto bare Pt. The size of the Ni deposits was found to be influenced by the electrolytic bath composition and potential sweep rate. The PANI matrix thus dispersed with Ni particles exhibited ferromagnetic behavior and a lower electrical conductance. The decrease in conductivity may be attributed to the partial blockage of the conductive path by the Ni particles thus embedded in the polymer matrix. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The selective area growth (SAG) and properties of AlGaN/GaN heterojunction bipolar transistors (HBTs) grown by low-pressure metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) are described and analyzed. Transistors based on group III-nitride material are attractive for high-power and high-temperature applications. Much work has been focused on improving p-type material, as well as heterojunction interfaces. However, there have been very few reports on HBTs operating at room temperature, At this time, current gains for nitride-based HBTs have been limited to ~10. Selective area regrowth was applied to the growth of AlGaN/GaN HBTs to analyze its potential advantages as compared to more traditional growth techniques in order to realize improved electrical performance of the devices 相似文献
