Resistance spot welding technologies are widely used in industry. A highly reliable monitoring method is needed to effectively weld and create a robust structure. We developed a combined technique using magnetic flux penetration and an eddy current test (ECT). The magnetic measuring system consists of a pair of magnetic probes having an induction coil and detection coil, a lock-in amplifier, a current source, and a personal computer. The magnetic flux penetration through both surfaces at the weld was measured at low frequency. The ECT was performed at each surface with multiple frequencies. The magnetic flux penetration method showed good correlation with the destructive shear test because of the change in permeability due to the formation of the nugget. The ECT method reflected the depth profile of the nugget and was effective for determining a defective product. 相似文献

Stereocomplex‐type poly(lactic acid)‐ [PLA]‐ based blends were prepared by solution casting of equimolar PLLA/PDLA with different amounts of organo‐modified montmorillonite. The homocrystallization and stereocomplexation of PLAs were enhanced by annealing of the blends. The stereocomplexation of PLAs, intercalation of the polymer chains between the silicates layers, and morphological structure of the filled PLAs were analyzed by wide‐angle X‐ray diffraction and transmission electron microscope. Thermogravimetric analyses (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and tensile test were performed to study the thermal and mechanical properties of the blends. The homo‐ and stereocomplex crystallization of neat PLLA/PDLA were enhanced by annealing. The effect of annealing on the crystallization was emphasized by the addition of clay. With this structural change, thermal stabilities properties were also improved by the addition of clay. Novel graft copolymers, PTPA-g-PEAs containing poly(triphenylamine) (PTPA) backbone and poly(ethyl acrylate) (PEA) branches were synthesized by the oxidative coupling polymerization of triarylamine monomers followed by grafting of ethyl acrylate via an atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). Photorefractive (PR) composites based on the graft copolymers showed good static PR properties and fast response time under moderate conditions. The highest diffraction efficiency (19.7% at 45 V/μm) was observed with the composite containing the graft polymer with 18 mol% of graft density and 27 wt% of PTPA. And the fastest response (8 ms at 50 V/μm) was achieved when PTPA content was 68 wt%. 相似文献

In most mammals except for humanoid primates, eccrine glands are confined to the skin of a series of specific body regions. Sialic acids and antimicrobial substances exhibit various functional properties and serve as a component of nonspecific defense against micro‐organisms, respectively. In this study, the distribution of these moieties was studied by electron microscopic histochemical methods. The eccrine glandular acini consisted of two types of dark cells as well as clear cells. The secretory granules and Golgi apparatus of both types of dark cells contained sialic acid residues linked to α2‐6Gal/GalNAc. On the other hand, sialoglycoconjugates with Siα2‐3Galβ1‐4GlcNAc sequence were confined to those of the Type II dark cells. In addition, lysozyme and β‐defensin were mainly detected in the secretory granules of the Type II dark cells. These secretory products may create a defensive barrier against microbial invasion and play an essential role in preservation of the integrity of porcine snout skin as a sensory organ. Microsc. Res. Void fractions in a simulated pressurized water reactor (PWR) core rod bundle geometry were measured under boil-off conditions covering pressures from 3 to 12 MPa and mass fluxes from 5 to 100 kg m−2 s−1, with a particular interest in void fractions at higher pressures and relatively high mass fluxes. Test results showed that the Chexal-Lellouche model predicts best the present (volume-averaged) void-fraction data among correlations and models examined in this study. The volume-averaged void fractions obtained from differential pressure measurements are systematically smaller than the chordally averaged void fractions obtained from gamma densitometer measurements. Local void fractions were measured in the same bundle for non-heated steam-water two-phase flow of 3 MPa by using an optical void probe. It was found that the difference between the volume-averaged and chordally averaged void fractions mentioned above can be explained qualitatively by a local void-fraction distribution in the bundle measured in the latter tests. 相似文献

As an emerging financial market, the trading value of carbon emission trading market has definitely increased in recent years. The carbon emission is not only trading in carbon emitters but also has become an important investment target. To determine the mechanism of this growing market, we analyzed the EU allowances (EUA) price series in European Climate Exchange (ECX) that is the leading European emissions futures market. As other financial market, the absolute value of price change (volatility) in carbon emission trading market also shows long-term power-law correlations. Our analysis shows that definite cross correlations exist between EUA and many other markets. These cross correlations exist in wild-range fields, stock market index, futures of crude, sugar, cocoa, etc., suggesting that in this new carbon emission trading market the speculation behavior had already become a main factor that can affect the price change. 相似文献

p–Phenylenevinylene type (P1), p–phenylene type (P2), and p–phenyleneethynylene
type (P3) conjugated polymers containing tropone in the main chain were obtained by
Heck reaction, Suzuki coupling, and Sonogashira coupling, respectively. The
carbonyl stretching vibration peaks in the IR spectra were always detected at the lower
wavenumber region compared with that of tropone. P1 and P2 in chloroform had the
absorption peak maximum at 515 nm and 400 nm, respectively. The fluorescence
from these polymer solutions was almost quenched, in contrast to previously reported
P4 bearing benzotropone unit (em = 566 nm). The acid–doping to P1 did not bring
about any spectral change in the UV spectra. From the powder XRD pattern, P1 was

The simulation of the parison formation process in blow molding has been studied. The flow field was divided into two regions, namely, the extrudate swell region near the die lip and the parison formation region after the exit swell. In the swell region, we predicted the swelling ratio and residual stress distribution for high Weissenberg numbers for steady planar well using the 1-mode Giesekus model. In the parison formation region, the flow is assumed to be an unsteady unaxial elongational flow including drawdown and recoverable swell and is modeled using the 10-mode Giesekus model. We calculated the time course of parison length and thickness distribution, and compare the calculation results of parison length with experimental data. It was found that the predicted values agreed rather well with the experimental values. The calculation results could especially predict the shrink-back, which is the phenomenon where the parison length becomes shorter after the cessation of extrusion, and it was found tat this was caused by the recoverable swell of the parison, which depends on the tensile stress generation in the die. Various flow rates and die geometries were studied and confirmed the reliability and usefulness of the method. 相似文献
