To improve visible-light-driven photocatalytic activity of TiO2, the octahedral Bi2Ti2O7 nanoparticles have been successfully supported on TiO2 nanotubes (Bi2Ti2O7/TiO2) for the first time by a simple hydrothermal method. The structure and electro-optical property of the Bi2Ti2O7/TiO2 were characterized in detail. The obtained Bi2Ti2O7/TiO2 exhibited a markedly enhanced photocatalytic activity and good stability for degradation of organic pollutants under visible light. The study presents a new way to synthesize Bi2Ti2O7/TiO2 using TiO2 nanotubes as both supporter and reactant. 相似文献

The titanium carbides are potential candidates to achieve both high hardness and refractory property. We carried out a structural search for titanium carbides at three pressures of 0 GPa, 30 GPa and 50 GPa. A phase diagram of the Ti-C system at 0 K was obtained by elucidating formation enthalpies as a function of compositions, and their mechanical and metallic properties of titanium carbides were investigated systematically. We also discussed the relation of titanium concentration to the both mechanical and metallic properties of titanium carbides. It has been found that the average valence electron density and tractility improved at higher concentrations of titanium, while the degree of covalent bonding directionality decreased. To this effect, the hardness of titanium carbide decreases as the content of titanium increases. Ceramic matrix composites have the potential to operate at high temperatures and are, therefore being considered for a variety of advanced energy technologies such as combustor liners in land-based gas turbo/generators, heat exchangers and advanced fission and fusion reactors. Ceramic matrix composites exhibit a range of crack growth mechanisms driven by a range of environmental and nuclear conditions. The crack growth mechanisms include: (1) fiber relaxation by thermal (FR) and irradiation (FIR) processes, (2) fiber stress-rupture (SR), (3) interface removal (IR) by oxidation, and (4) oxidation embrittlement (OE) resulting from glass formation including effects of glass viscosity. Analysis of these crack growth processes has been accomplished with a combination experimental/modeling effort. Dynamic, high-temperature, in situ crack growth measurements have been made in variable Ar + O2 environments while a Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) developed model has been used to extrapolate this data and to add radiation effects. In addition to the modeling effort, a map showing these mechanisms as a function of environmental parameters was developed. This mechanism map is an effective tool for identifying operating regimes and predicting behavior. The process used to develop the crack growth mechanism map was to: (1) hypothesize and experimentally verify the operative mechanisms, (2) develop an analytical model for each mechanism, and (3) define the operating regime and boundary conditions for each mechanism. The effect of heat treatments on the tensile properties and microstructures of wrought Mg–Zn–Zr-Rare earth alloys MB25 and MB26 have been studied in this paper. It was shown that the homogenization of the cast ingots decreased the strength of the extruded bars because some grain boundary phases were dissolved during the process of this treatment, while the ageing treatment of the extruded bars increased the strength due to the dispersive precipitation of MgZn2 phase. The effects of chromium on the corrosion and the electrochemical behaviors of ultra high strength steels were studied by the salt spray test and electrochemical methods. The results show that ultra high strength steels remain martensite structures and have anodic dissolu-tion characteristic with an increase of chromium content There is no typical passive region on the polarization curves of an ultra high strength stainless steel, AerMet 100 steel, and 300M steel However, chromium improves the corrosion resistance of the stainless steel re-markably. It has the slowest corrosion rate in the salt spray test, one order of magnitude less than that of AerMet 100 and 300M steels. With the increase of chromium content, the polarization resistance becomes larger, the corrosion potential shifts towards the positive direction with a value of 545 mV, and the corrosion current density decreases in electrochemical measures in 3.5wr% NaCl solutions. Because of the higher content of chromium, the ultra high strength stainless steel has a better corrosion resistance than AerMet 100 and 300M steels. 相似文献

Gaussian sampling is the major class of algorithms for solving the close vector problem(CVP)of lattices.In this paper we present a novel Gaussian sampling algorithm,which has the same cryptographic applications with original Gaussian sampling algorithms.Our novel Gaussian sampling algorithm has smaller deviations,meaning smaller space sizes of lattice based public-key ciphers.The shape of our novel algorithm is almost repeated implementations of original algorithm,with random repeating times.Major result is that the deviation can be reduced to 0.64~0.75 of that of original Gaussian sampling algorithm without clearly increasing the average time cost. 相似文献
