Through a mechanism called quorum sensing, bacteria are able to express specific genes in response to population density. Cell-to-cell communication in bacteria is mediated by signal molecules such as acylated homoserine lactones (AHLs). This work aimed to detect AHL production in Gram-negative psychrotrophic bacteria isolated from raw milk. A total of 84.9% of the bacteria were identified as AHL producers eliciting a diversity of responses in the AHL-monitor systems. These results demonstrate that AHL-production is common among psychrotrophic bacteria isolated from milk, and indicate that quorum sensing may play an important role in the spoilage of this product.  相似文献

We present two error-tolerance transmission protocols of a single-photon polarization state when bit-flip error is taken into account. For achieving the transmission target of the single-photon state, the first protocol needs to encode it to a nonmaximally entangled Bell state. Exploiting the interaction of the polarization entanglement with spatial entanglement between two photons, its success probability is 100 %. Different from the first protocol, the second one utilizes the idea of teleportation with an auxiliary Bell state. By performing quantum nondemolition measurement to analyze the parity, conventional measurement, and unitary transformation operations, the success probability of the second protocol is approximately unity. Furthermore, the second protocol can be generalized to the error-tolerance transmission of an arbitrary mixed state or the distribution of an arbitrary multi-photon entangled state.  相似文献

Response time (RT) of Networked Automation Systems (NAS) is affected by timing imperfections induced due to the network, computing and hardware components. Guaranteeing RT in the presence of such timing imperfections is essential for building dependable NAS, and to avoid costly upgrades after deployment in industries.This investigation proposes a methodology and work-flow that combines modelling, simulation, verification, experiments, and software tools to verify the RT of the NAS during the design, rather than after deployment. The RT evaluation work-flow has three phases: model building, modelling and verification. During the model building phase component reaction times are specified and their timing performance is measured by combining experiments with simulation. During the modelling phase, component based mathematical models that capture the network architecture and inter-connection are proposed. Composition of the component models gives the NAS model required for studying the RT performance on system level. Finally, in the verification step, the NAS formal models are abstracted as UPPAAL timed automata with their timing interfaces. To model timing interfaces, the action patterns, and their timing wrapper are proposed. The formal model of high level of abstraction is used to verify the total response time of the NAS where the reactions to be verified are specified using a subset of timed computation tree logic (TCTL) in UPPAAL model checker. The proposed approach is illustrated on an industrial steam boiler deployment.  相似文献

Employing a polarization-entangled \(\chi \) state, which is a four-photon genuine entangled state, we propose a protocol teleporting a general two-photon polarization state. Firstly, the sender needs to perform one Controlled-NOT gate, one Hadamard gate, and one Controlled-NOT gate on the state to be teleported in succession. Secondly, the sender performs local nondemolition parity analyses based on cross-Kerr nonlinearities and publicizes the achieved outcomes. Finally, conditioned on the sender’s analysis outcomes, the receiver executes the single-photon unitary transformation operations on his own photons to obtain the state originally sit in the sender’s location. Due to the employment of nondemolition parity analyses rather than four-qubit joint measurement, it can be realized more feasible with currently available technologies. Moreover, the resources of Bell states can be achieved because the nondestructive measurement is exploited, which facilitates other potential tasks of quantum information processing.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of parameter-dependent robust H filter design for uncertain discrete-time systems with output quantization. The uncertain parameters are supposed to reside in a polytope. The system outputs are quantized by a memoryless logarithmic quantizer before being transmitted to a filter. Attention is focused on the design of a robust H filter to mitigate quantization effects and ensure a prescribed H noise attenuation level. Via introducing some slack variables and using the parameter-dependent Lyapunov function, sufficient conditions for the existence of a robust H filter are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

针对兼类样本,提出一种增量学习算法.利用超球支持向量机,在特征空间对属于同一类别的样本求得一个能包围该类尽可能多样本的最小超球,使各类样本之间通过超球隔开.增量学习过程中,只对新增样本以及与新增样本具有相同兼类的旧样本集中的支持向量进行训练,且每次训练只针对一类样本,使得算法在很小的样本集、很小的空间代价下实现兼类样本增量学习,同时保留了与新增样本类别无关的历史训练结果.分类过程中,通过计算待分类样本到各超球球心的距离判定其所属类别,分类准确快捷.实验结果证明了该算法的有效性.  相似文献

In this paper, a finite-time optimal tracking control scheme based on integral reinforcement learning is developed for partially unknown nonlinear systems. In order to realize the prescribed performance, the original system is transformed into an equivalent unconstrained system so as to a composite system is constructed. Subsequently, a modified nonlinear quadratic performance function containing the auxiliary tracking error is designed. Furthermore, the technique of experience replay is used to update the critic neural network, which eliminates the persistent of excitation condition in traditional optimal methods. By combining the prescribed performance control with the finite-time optimization control technique, the tracking error is driven to a desired performance in finite time. Consequently, it has been shown that all signals in the partially unknown nonlinear system are semiglobally practical finite-time stable by stability analysis. Finally, the provided comparative simulation results verify the effectiveness of the developed control scheme.  相似文献

It is a useful method in research of group theory to construct a new group by using known groups. Lower and upper approximation operators of rough sets are applied into group theory and so the notion of a rough group has been introduced. In this paper, we first point out that there are still some incomplete propositions in [N. Kuroki, P.P. Wang, The lower and upper approximations in a fuzzy group, Inform. Sci. 90 (1996) 203–220] although some authors have showed several incorrect statements in the literature. We then present improved versions of the incomplete propositions and continue to study the image and inverse image of rough approximations of a subgroup with respect to a homomorphism between two groups.  相似文献
