Silicon nitride (Si3N4) based ceramics were fabricated with β-SiAlON and Si3N4 powders synthesized by combustion synthesis method via power injection molding (PIM). In the PIM process, the solids loading for each material was first determined from the results of the torque rheometer experiment. The mixing process was repeated to produce the homogeneous feedstock, and homogeneity of feedstocks was evaluated by observing the shear viscosity with time at a constant shear rate. The rheological behavior of feedstocks was investigated using capillary rheometer. It found that both feedstocks have no problem in injection molding. The binder decomposition behavior was also investigated, and a wax-polymer binder system was nearly removed by the optimized solvent and thermal debinding processes. Thereafter, the debound samples were sintered at 1750 and 1800 °C for 4 h in nitrogen atmosphere. Regardless of sintering temperature, the relative density of higher than about 96% was achieved. When comparing mechanical properties including bending strength, Vickers hardness and fracture toughness, Si3N4 with 2 wt% Y2O3 and 5 wt% Al2O3 (Si3N4+2Y5A) had higher values than β-SiAlON with 4 wt% Y2O3 (β-SiAlON+4Y) regardless of sintering temperature. It was supported by observing the microstructures of the plasma-etched samples.  相似文献

In this study, a chelating agent is introduced to prepare CeO2–ZrO2 nano-composite through a precipitation process. The physicochemical properties of the oxide precursors, nano composite materials are strongly dependent on the preparation method and whether a chelating agent is used. Adding an appropriate quantity of chelating agent SO42− can facilitate thermal stability and phase structure uniformity of CeO2–ZrO2 mixed oxides. The calculation results showed that the Gibbs free energy of chelating complex of [ZrSO4]2+ (ΔG = −127.2469 kJ/mol) is higher than the [Ce(III)SO4]+ (ΔG = -29.8279 kJ/mol). The precipitation chemical potential of Zr4+ moves close to the precipitation chemical potential of Ce3+. The novel and low-cost chelating precipitation method can modify the homogeneity of the compounds at the atomic scale, which can offer a powerful opportunity for, and provide direction in, the design of materials with exceptional properties.  相似文献

High performance of electrocatalysts for direct methanol fuel cells was demonstrated by three-dimensional (3D) graphene (GR) decorated with platinum (Pt)–gold (Au) alloy nanoparticles (3D-GR/PtAu). The 3D-GR/PtAu composite with a morphology like a crumpled paper ball was synthesized from a colloidal mixture of GR and Pt–Au alloy nanoparticles with aerosol spray drying. The 3D-GR/PtAu had a high specific surface area and electrochemical surface area of up to 238 and 325 m2/g(Pt), respectively, and the electrocatalytic applications of the 3D-GR/PtAu were examined through methanol oxidation reactions. The 3D-GR/PtAu had the highest electrocatalytic activity for methanol oxidation reactions compared with commercial Pt–carbon black and Pt-GR. The 3D-GR/PtAu was also highly sensitive electrocatalytic activity in the methanol oxidation reaction compared with the 2D-GR/Pt–Au. Furthermore, the electrocatalytic activity of the 3D-GR/PtAu had the highest performance among the catalysts containing Pt, Au, and GR for the methanol oxidation reactions. The increased electrocatalytic activity is attributed to the high specific surface area of the 3D formation and the effective surface structure of the Pt–Au alloy nanoparticles.  相似文献

Measuring nonlinear optical response of a specific material in a mixture, not only leads to investigate the behavior of a particular component in various circumstances, but also can be a way to select suitable combination and optimum concentration of additives and therefore obtaining the maximum nonlinear optical signals. In this work, by using dual-arm Z-scan technique, the nonlinear refractive index of Disperse Red1 (DR1) organic dye molecules inside the core of prepared polymeric nanocapsules was measured among various materials which prepared nanocapsules were made of them. Then the measured value was compared with nonlinear refractive index of DR1 solved in dichloromethane.  相似文献

Greenish yellow organic light-emitting diodes (GYOLEDs) have steadily attracted researcher's attention since they are important to our life. However, their performance significantly lags behind compared with the three primary colors based OLEDs. Herein, for the first time, an ideal host-guest system has been demonstrated to accomplish high-performance phosphorescent GYOLEDs, where the guest concentration is as low as 2%. The GYOLED exhibits a forward-viewing power efficiency of 57.0 lm/W at 1000 cd/m2, which is the highest among GYOLEDs. Besides, extremely low efficiency roll-off and voltages are achieved. The origin of the high performance is unveiled and it is found that the combined mechanisms of host-guest energy transfer and direct exciton formation on the guest are effective to furnish the greenish yellow emission. Then, by dint of this ideal host-guest system, a simplified but high-performance hybrid white OLED (WOLED) has been developed. The WOLED can exhibit an ultrahigh color rendering index (CRI) of 92, a maximum total efficiency of 27.5 lm/W and a low turn-on voltage of 2.5 V (1 cd/m2), unlocking a novel avenue to simultaneously achieve simplified structure, ultrahigh CRI (>90), high efficiency and low voltage.  相似文献

The oxidation of glucose during the reductive leaching of pure MnO2 and manganese ore in sulphuric acid at 90 °C MnO2 was investigated. The aim was to identify the derivatives and the chemical pathway of glucose oxidation. Organic derivatives were monitored by HPLC using an Aminex HPX-78H column and UV detection. Chromatographic patterns of leaching solutions showed that major compound formed was formic acid. Minor quantities of glycolic, glyceric and traces of gluconic acids were identified. Results suggest that during the leaching reaction, the carbon chain of glucose is shortened by detachment of one carbon atom as formic acid.  相似文献

Depositions of decorative and wear resistant single layer coatings like TiN, Ti(B,N), CrN, NbN, NbON, (Ti,Mg)N and multilayer coatings like Cr/CrN, Nb/NbN, CrN/NbN and NbN/Nb-C:H were performed using reactive magnetron sputtering. The corrosion behaviour of the coated high speed steel substrates was studied in sodium chloride containing media by open-circuit-potential measurements, potentiodynamic corrosion tests and salt spray tests. Up to now, the best improvements with respect to the corrosion resistance in salt spray tests could be obtained for the system (Ti,Mg)N/high speed steel.  相似文献

Through a study of Ni–YSZ interfaces it is shown that time-of-flight-secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS) is a powerful and convenient tool for the analysis of ultra thin layers of segregated material at the interfaces and on free surfaces. Two different types of Ni, “pure Ni” (99.995% Ni) and “impure Ni” (99.8% Ni) were investigated. The contact areas on the YSZ and areas outside the contacts were examined with XPS and TOF-SIMS. The impure nickel causes a relatively larger amount of impurities to accumulate at the contact area, e.g. oxides of Mn, Ti, Si and Na. Some impurities migrate to the area outside the contact area. Even though on a larger scale the impurities seem to be homogeneously distributed, detailed analyses in and outside the contact area show the presence of impurity particles, and that the surface species are inhomogeneously distributed amongst the different grains. The extremely low detection limit, the small probe depth, the image capability, and the ease of elemental identification make TOF-SIMS an obvious choice as an analytical tool for studying segregation phenomena at metal–ceramic interfaces such as Ni–YSZ interfaces. XPS, being a quantitative technique, was used as a complementary technique to TOF-SIMS, which is not directly a quantitative technique.  相似文献

Organisms of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (TBC) are responsible for tuberculosis, a chronic disease which represents a serious public health problem in the world. The most common means of contracting the disease are through inhalation of aerosols, drinking of unpasteurised milk from an infected cow and the sharing of common water or feed sources.In this study a rapid, sensitive and reliable PCR-based method for specific detection of the Mycobacterium TB complex directly from raw milk samples was developed. The DNA extraction method was effective and able to remove inhibitors and allowed the isolation of amplifiable DNA. The procedure demonstrated the presence of the TBC mpb70 gene in 36/50 (72%) of Albanian milk samples tested. The study highlights the need to screen extracommunitarian milk to define an epidemiological background and to guarantee the quality of the raw milk in countries lacking a suitable TB-infection control plan.  相似文献

The formation of anodic film of AZ91D magnesium alloy has been investigated by means of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic voltammetry, anodic polarization curve, current-time transients and SEM technique. The results show that, under our experimental conditions, the formation of AZ91D anodic film follows the mechanism of 3D nucleation with diffusion controlled growth. With the increase of applied anodizing potential, the nucleation type of anodic film changes from progressive to instantaneous. The results also show that the initially formed anodized film is threadlike and porous, and high potential is essential for the formation of good anodic film with excellent properties.  相似文献
