LR-fuzzy numbers are widely used in Fuzzy Set Theory applications based on the standard definition of convex fuzzy sets. However, in some empirical contexts such as, for example, human decision making and ratings, convex representations might not be capable to capture more complex structures in the data. Moreover, non-convexity seems to arise as a natural property in many applications based on fuzzy systems (e.g., fuzzy scales of measurement). In these contexts, the usage of standard fuzzy statistical techniques could be questionable. A possible way out consists in adopting ad-hoc data manipulation procedures to transform non-convex data into standard convex representations. However, these procedures can artificially mask relevant information carried out by the non-convexity property. To overcome this problem, in this article we introduce a novel computational definition of non-convex fuzzy number which extends the traditional definition of LR-fuzzy number. Moreover, we also present a new fuzzy regression model for crisp input/non-convex fuzzy output data based on the fuzzy least squares approach. In order to better highlight some important characteristics of the model, we applied the fuzzy regression model to some datasets characterized by convex as well as non-convex features. Finally, some critical points are outlined in the final section of the article together with suggestions about future extensions of this work.  相似文献

We present two error-tolerance transmission protocols of a single-photon polarization state when bit-flip error is taken into account. For achieving the transmission target of the single-photon state, the first protocol needs to encode it to a nonmaximally entangled Bell state. Exploiting the interaction of the polarization entanglement with spatial entanglement between two photons, its success probability is 100 %. Different from the first protocol, the second one utilizes the idea of teleportation with an auxiliary Bell state. By performing quantum nondemolition measurement to analyze the parity, conventional measurement, and unitary transformation operations, the success probability of the second protocol is approximately unity. Furthermore, the second protocol can be generalized to the error-tolerance transmission of an arbitrary mixed state or the distribution of an arbitrary multi-photon entangled state.  相似文献

Liquid crystalline (LC) polyurethanes were made from two diisocyanates (flexible HMDI and stiff TDI) (DIs), mesogenic diol (D) and a polybutadiene-diol (B) with stoichiometric ratios of reactive hydroxy (OH) and isocyanate (NCO) groups ((NCO)DI/((OH)D+(OH)B)=1/1). Two- (B/DIs, D/DIs) and three-component ((D+B)/DIs, D/B=1/1 by weight) polymers were prepared and their dielectric, dynamic mechanical and DSC behavior was investigated. For neat B, the glass transition temperature TgB (∼−46 °C) was detected. Two-component B/HMDI and B/TDI polymers have exhibited a homogeneous structure with the glass transition temperatures TgU∼−9 and 2 °C. On the other hand, for D/DI polymers on cooling from the melt and subsequent heating the glass transitions at TgU∼41 °C (D/HMDI) and 58 °C (D/TDI) together with nematic and smectic mesophases were found. In three-component systems, additional glass transitions at TgB∼−41 °C (B/D/HMDI) and −31 °C (B/D/TDI) were observed. This means that the polymers exhibit a distinct two-phase structure with soft polybutadiene (B) and hard polyurethane (D/DI) phases. In hard polyurethane phase, the glass transitions at TgU and LC mesophases similar to those found in two-component D/DI polyurethanes were detected. Dielectric and dynamic mechanical results correlate well with DSC measurements.  相似文献

Context: The emergence of the long-tail in the market of software applications is shifting the role of end-users from mere consumers to becoming developers of applications addressing their unique, personal, and transient needs. On the Web, a popular form of such applications is called mashup, built out of the lightweight composition of Web APIs (reusable software components delivered as a service through the Web). To enable end-users to build mashups, there is a key problem that must be overcome: End-users lack programming knowledge as well as the interest to learn how to master the complex set of Web technologies required to develop mashups. End-User Development (EUD) is an emerging research field dealing with this type of problems. Its main goal is to design tools and techniques facilitating the development of software applications by non-programmers.Objective: The paper describes the design and evaluation of NaturalMash, an innovative EUD tool for mashups (a mashup tool). NaturalMash aims at enabling non-professional users without any knowledge of programming languages and skills to create feature-rich, interactive, and useful mashups.Methods: The design of NaturalMash adopts a formative evaluation approach, and has completed three design and evaluation iterations. The formative evaluations utilize usability testing, think aloud protocol, questionnaires, observation, and unstructured interviews. Additionally, we compare the expressive power of naturalmash with the state-of-the-art mashup tools.Results: The results from the formative evaluations helped us identify important usability problems. From an assessment point of view, the results were promising and sggested that the proposed tool has a short and gentle learning curve in a way that even non-programmers are able to rapidly build useful mashups. Also, the comparative evaluation results showed that NaturalMash offers a competitive level of expressive power compared with existing mashup tools targeting non-programmers.Conclusion: As the evaluation results indicate, NaturalMash provides a high level of expressive power while it is still highly usable by non-programmers. These suggest that we have successfully achieved the objective of the proposed tool, distinguishing it from existing mashup tools that are either too limited or highly specialized for non-professional users.  相似文献

ObjectiveCreate a visual mobile end user development framework, named Puzzle, which allows end users without IT background to create, modify and execute applications, and provides support for interaction with smart things, phone functions and web services.MethodsDesign of an intuitive visual metaphor and associated interaction techniques for supporting end user development in mobile devices with iterative empirical validation.ResultsOur results show that the jigsaw is an intuitive metaphor for development in a mobile environment and our interaction techniques required a limited cognitive effort to use and learn the framework. Integration of different modalities and usage of smart things was relevant for users.ConclusionPuzzle has addressed the main objective. The framework further contributes to the research on mobile end user development in order to create an incentive for users to go beyond consuming content and applications to start creating their own applications.PracticeUsage of a mobile end user development environment has the potential to create a shift from the conventional few-to-many distribution model of software to a many-to-many distribution model. Users will be able to create applications that fit their requirements and share their achievements with peers.ImplicationsThis study has indicated that the Puzzle visual environment has the potential to enable users to easily create applications and stimulate exploration of innovative scenarios through smartphones.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Polyelectrolyte complex (PEC) of chitosan (Chi) and poly (acrylic acid) (PAA)-modified iron sand leachate were prepared and considered for applicability as a proton exchange membrane in fuel cells. Chi-PAA-hematite blended in different weight ratios and the resulting membranes were treated to enable the formation of the polyelectrolyte. The membranes of Chi-PAA polyblend were treated using iron sand leachate and reveal high ion exchange capacity (IEC), proton conductivity, water uptake, and good mechanical stability. The result of research indicated that the membrane with 40 wt% of Chi and 60 wt% of PAA blend which its conductivity of 6.10 × 10?2 S cm?1 was potentially for a proton exchange membrane in fuel cell applications.  相似文献

We have applied Delaunay triangulation to models of the known zeolite frameworks. We show that this well-established technique from computational geometry provides for each framework; (i) the location and shape of the open pores and channels, (ii) the diameter of the largest possible included sphere, and indirectly (iii) the diameter of the largest-free-sphere that can diffuse through the framework by at least one lattice translation. Since Delaunay triangulation naturally locates the empty spaces within a set of points, it provides a powerful computer-automated tool for determining the physical characteristics of pores and channels of zeolite frameworks. Such tools will further enhance the usefulness of large databases of hypothetical framework materials.

Here, we tabulate results for the 165 zeolite frameworks that are presently listed in the Atlas of Zeolite Frameworks. Of the known zeolites, refined as pure silicates, the largest included sphere occurs in the TSC framework, with a diameter of 16.39 Å. The largest-free-sphere has a diameter of 11.33 Å, for diffusion along the [0 0 1] direction in the VFI framework.  相似文献

为了对舰船尾流产生的大量气泡进行实时探测,对气泡的密度分布进行了分类判别,利用灰度图像直方图统计矩法,分析了随着压强增大,灰度直方图的峰值由较暗向较亮方向移动.应用图像处理技术对不同压强下模拟尾流气泡幕的统计特性参数(均值、三阶矩、标准偏差、归一化、一致性、熵)进行分析,研究结果表明:随着压强的增大气泡幕图像的均值递增说明平均灰度级在递增;三阶矩呈递减状态反映了图像灰度直方图的"歪斜程度";在其他4个参数的曲线中0.025 MPa所对应的值说明了所采集的气泡幕图像的纹理特征比0.02 MPa,0.03 MPa,0.035 MPa压强下的要粗糙;所提取的六个特征参数准确的表征了不同压强下气泡幕的特征.  相似文献
