A structural approach for modelling the hierarchical dynamic process of Web workload in a large-scale campus network

A new structural approach based on hidden Markov model is proposed to describe the hierarchical nature of dynamic process of Web workload. The proposed approach includes two latent Markov chains and one observable process. One of the latent Markov chains is called macro-state process which is used to describe the large-scale trends of Web workload. The remaining latent Markov chain is called sub-state process which is used to describe the small-scale fluctuations that are happening within the duration of a given macro-state. An efficient parameter re-estimation algorithm and a workload simulation algorithm are derived for the proposed discrete model. Experiments based on a real workload of a large-scale campus network are implemented to validate the proposed model.

Deformation Uniformity of Cold-Rolled Q235 Steel Rebar by FEM in Bending and Rolling Processes

 An analytic model based on ANSYS/LS-DYNA has been developed on the cold rolling process for Q235 steel rebar with 12 mm in diameter. The elastic-plastic finite element method (FEM) and the cold deformation resistance model of Q235 steel were adopted in this model. Deformation uniformity of the final product has been analyzed using this model. The results indicate that the uniformity of the final product is obtained only as the centerline of the bending rolls is vertical to the centerline of the driven roll and parallel to the centerline of the drive roll in the whole rolling process. Besides, the number of the bending rolls must even realize the continuous bending and reverse bending process. Also, the number of the bending rolls must match the deformation degree of the workpiece in the cold rolling process. The validity of this finite element model was verified by the size and distribution of grains from the billet to the rebar in a practical cold rolling process.

一个钢筋混凝土损伤塑性本构模型及工程应用

以ABAQUS大型程序为平台,采用应变协调假设和强度等效假设,给出了一个描述钢筋混凝土材料与结构损伤塑性分析的本构模型。这里的钢筋强化特性是通过定义强化了的拉伸塑性应力-应变曲线来实现的。模型中的钢筋不再以独立的金属材料形式出现,而是被等效钢筋混凝土代表体元模型包含进去了,用拉伸应力-应变曲线峰值后区的硬化-软化强度曲线直接定义强化功能。这个模型着重对ABAQUS软件中给出的损伤塑性模型的拉伸强化-软化阶段的特性进行了完善。采用试件受单向拉伸和简支梁受集中力载荷两个简单算例说明了模型的有效性。最后该研究将这个模型用于一个受地表堆积载荷、土压力和地下水压力联合作用下的钢筋混凝土墙体结构的ABAQUS有限元损伤塑性数值分析中。
