The high resolution Stark spectra of the singly deuterated methanol isotope, CH3OD, have been studied using the HCN laser with Stark fields up to approximately 60 000 V/cm. Numerous families of absorption lines have been observed in both parallel and perpendicular polarizations, resulting in the following assignments: with the 311 μm line – J K = 181 ← 180 E 2, υ t = 1; and with the 337 μm line – J k = 64 ← 53 E 2, υ t = 0 and J K = 146 ← 135 A, υ t = 1. Zero-field frequencies for the assigned transitions are in agreement with Fourier transform measurements and those calculated from the available molecular constants.  相似文献

This paper presents new absolute measurements for the thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity of gaseous argon obtained with a transient hot-wire instrument. Six isotherms were measured in the supercritical dense gas at temperatures between 296 and 423 K and pressures up to 61 MPa. A new analysis for the influence of temperature-dependent properties and residual bridge unbalance is used to obtain the thermal conductivity with an uncertainty of less than 1% and the thermal diffusivity with an uncertainty of less than 4%. Isobaric heat capacity results were derived from measured values of thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity using a density calculated from an equation of state. The heat capacities presented here have a nominal uncertainty of 4% and demonstrate that this property can be obtained successfully with the transient hot wire technique over a wide range of fluid states. The technique will be useful when applied to fluids which lack specific heat data.  相似文献

Oil migration is responsible for the poor keeping qualities of composite confectionery products. Quality defects arising from oil migration include softening of the coating, hardening of the filling, deterioration in sensory quality and a greater tendency toward fat bloom formation. For this reason, oil migration has been extensively studied, and yet a clear understanding of the oil migration mechanisms still remains a challenge.Traditional MRI techniques are unable to acquire images from the solid lipid in chocolate. In this paper we employ a newly developed one-dimensional, centric-scan MRI technique to acquire images from the short lived signal components from the solid lipid, as well as the longer timescale components of the liquid lipid in a chocolate sample. We present one-dimensional images of a dynamic hazelnut oil absorption experiment, and one-dimensional solid and liquid distribution maps in a 5 mm thick chocolate sample in which oil migration occurs.  相似文献

High-resolution infrared (IR) and far infrared (FIR) Fourier transform absorption spectra have been employed to investigate assignments of FIR laser lines reported from optically-pumped13CH3OH. The spectroscopic measurements are used in conjunction with the reported IR pump and FIR laser frequencies to form closed combination loops for several systems, serving to confirm the assignments and in some cases to improve the accuracy of the FIR laser frequencies. Frequency predictions from combination differences are also presented for a number of potential new FIR laser lines.  相似文献

Staphylococcus saprophyticus is a common contaminant in meat and poultry, and causes urinary tract infections after colonization of the gastrointestinal tract, followed by accidental transfer of contaminated feces to the urethra. There is limited information regarding the inactivation kinetics of S. saprophyticus in meat and poultry. When S. saprophyticus was suspended in ground chicken meat (GCM) the thermal processing D10 was 6.26, 0.60 and 0.09 min at 55, 60 and 65 °C, respectively. When S. saprophyticus was inoculated into GCM and subjected to high pressure processing (5 °C, 0–25 min) at 200, 300 or 400 MPa the HPP D10 was 15.5, 9.43, and 3.54 min, respectively. When the S. saprophyticus cocktail was inoculated into GCM and irradiated (5 and −20 °C) the gamma radiation D10 were 0.64 and 0.77 kGy, respectively. When S. saprophyticus was inoculated into chicken purge which was then placed on food contact surfaces including stainless steel, and high density polyethylene and polypropylene and treated with UV-C (0–60 mJ/cm2) the UV-C D10 ranged from 14.9 to 18.5 mJ/cm2. These results indicate the inactivation kinetics for S. saprophyticus are consistent with those for other foodborne pathogens and could be controlled in poultry meat and purge without difficulty.  相似文献

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has estimated that a proportion ranging from 20% to 30% of campylobacteriosis in humans may be attributed to the consumption of broiler meat and a reduction in the numbers of Campylobacter in the intestines of infected birds at slaughter by 3 log units would reduce the public health risk by at least 90%. In this study, a stochastic model was implemented to reproduce the dynamics of Campylobacter transmission in broiler flocks and explore the effects of several management conditions and/or on-farm mitigation strategies on the estimated level of contamination of infected flocks at slaughter. Results were expressed as ‘proportion of highly contaminated flocks’ (%HCFs) and estimated as a function of the proportion of infected birds in the flock the day of final depopulation and the individual level of contamination in infected birds. The effects of the mitigation strategies aimed at reducing the level of contamination in infected birds were modelled assuming that those effects are exerted on the distribution describing the bacterial load in infected birds. The impact of management conditions such as the adoption of enhanced biosecurity measures (B+) and/or partial depopulation during the production cycle (T+) were quantified using results of an extensive epidemiological study conducted in UK. A standard broiler flock was reproduced and used as baseline to make comparisons and simulate the effects of the mitigation strategies of interest. The baseline model predicted 18.8% probability of HCFs at slaughter. A positive effect ranging from −32.44% to −4.78% was attributed to B+ while T+ had negative effect ranging from +17.55% to +86.70%. When both the effects were tested simultaneously (B+T+), results were not conclusive with %HCFs ranging from −20.21% to +77.65%. When mitigation strategies operating on Campylobacter concentration in intestine were tested, a reduction of 100% and 99.6% in %HFCs were estimated following a generic treatment with bacteriocins and bacteriophages. Reduction in %HCFs as a function of immunization measures were explored and a reduction of 15% in the rate of transmission led to a %HCFs at slaughter reduced by almost 50%. The model was developed to be flexible, easily reproducible, updatable and adaptable to several baseline scenarios. The main parameters and assumptions underlying the baseline model were tested and a sensitivity analysis was performed to identify and discuss the impact that the uncertainty in the baseline information might have on the outcomes.  相似文献

Injury to peripheral nerves can occur as a result of various surgical procedures, including oral and maxillofacial surgery. In the case of nerve transaction, the gold standard treatment is the end-to-end reconnection of the two nerve stumps. When it cannot be performed, the actual strategies consist of the positioning of a nerve graft between the two stumps. Guided nerve regeneration using nano-structured scaffolds is a promising strategy to promote axon regeneration. Biodegradable electrospun conduits composed of aligned nanofibers is a new class of devices used to improve neurite extension and axon outgrowth. Self assembled peptide nanofibrous scaffolds (SAPNSs) demonstrated promising results in animal models for central nervous system injuries, and, more recently, for peripheral nerve injury. Aims of this work are (1) to review electrospun and self-assembled nanofibrous scaffolds use in vitro and in vivo for peripheral nerve regeneration; and (2) its application in peripheral nerve injuries treatment. The review focused on nanofibrous scaffolds with a diameter of less than approximately 250 nm. The conjugation in a nano scale of a natural bioactive factor with a resorbable synthetic or natural material may represent the best compromise providing both biological and mechanical cues for guided nerve regeneration. Injured peripheral nerves, such as trigeminal and facial, may benefit from these treatments.  相似文献

In the present paper, Amberlyst-15 resin was used for the removal of malathion. Various experimental parameters such as effect of pH, contact time, resin dose, initial malathion concentration and temperature were studied to find the optimum conditions for malathion removal. The removal rate of malathion by Amberlyst-15 was rapid and equilibrium was established within 30 min. Kinetic studies showed better applicability for pseudo-second-order model and equilibrium data was best fitted to Freundlich isotherm model. The thermodynamic parameters showed that the adsorption of malathion was feasible, endothermic and spontaneous. The concentration of malathion was determined using ultra-performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry.  相似文献
