In the present work a comparative study for thermal and electrical performance of different hybrid photovoltaic/thermal collectors designs for Iraq climate conditions have been carried out. Four different types of air based hybrid PV/T collectors have been manufactured and tested. Three collectors consist of four main parts namely, channel duct, glass cover, axial fan to circulate air and two PV panels in parallel connection. The measured parameters are, the temperature of the upper and the lower surfaces of the PV panels, air temperature along the collector, air flow rate, pressure drop, power produced by solar cell, and climate conditions such as wind speed, solar radiation and ambient temperature. The thermal and hydraulic performances of PV/T collector model IV have been analyzed theoretically based on energy balance. A Matlab computer program has been developed to solve the proposed mathematical model.The obtained results show that the combined efficiency of collector model III (double duct, single pass) is higher than that of model II (single duct double pass) and model IV (single duct single pass). Model IV has the better electrical efficiency. The pressure drop of model III is lower than that of models II and IV. The root mean square of percentage deviations for PV outlet temperature, and thermal efficiency of model IV are found to be 3.22%, and 18.04% respectively. The calculated linear coefficients of correlation (r) are 0.977, 0.965 respectively.  相似文献

Cobalt oxide thin films were fabricated by means of electrospray deposition. The obtained films were characterized by Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and Scanning electron microscopy. The solution that was used gave the Co3O4 phase at different growth temperatures. The best granular surfaces were obtained at 250 °C as verified by all characterization techniques, while flaky surfaces were obtained at higher temperatures. The surface morphology is mostly granular except for high temperatures where the cobalt oxide is formed as flakes instead of grains.  相似文献

This article investigates the tribological behavior of nanoparticles (NPs) of titanium dioxide anatase TiO2 (A), graphene, and TiO2 (A) + graphene added to the pure base oil group ΙΙ (PBO-GΙΙ). The morphology of these two nanostructures of TiO2 (A) and graphene was characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Oleic acid (OA) was blended as a surfactant into the formulation to help stabilize the NPs in the lubricant oil. A four-ball test rig was used to determine the tribological performance of six different samples, and an image acquisition system was used to examine and measure the wear scar diameter of the stationary balls. Field emission–scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) was used to examine the wear morphology. Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), element mapping, and Raman spectroscopy were employed to confirm the presence of (TiO2 (A) + graphene) and the formation of a tribolayer/film on the mating surfaces. Moreover, a 3D optical surface texture analyzer was utilized to investigate the scar topography and tribological performance. The experiments proved that adding (0.4?wt% TiO2 (A) + 0.2?wt% graphene) to the PBO-GΙΙ optimized its tribological behavior. These excellent results can be attributed to the dual additive effect and the formation of a tribofilm of NPs during sliding motion. Furthermore, the average reductions in the coefficient of friction (COF), wear scar diameter (WSD), and specific wear rate (SWR) were 38.83, 36.78, and 15.78%, respectively, for (0.4?wt% TiO2 (A) + 0.2?wt% graphene) nanolubricant compared to plain PBO-GΙΙ lubricant.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the main determinants (criteria as well as sub-criteria) influencing the adoption decision of cloud computing (CC) in the healthcare sector. In the present study, qualitative interviews and the Delphi method are used to find the relevance of identified determinants (criteria and sub-criteria) from literature. Further, an integrated hybrid approach of interpretive structural modeling, analytic hierarchy process, and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (ISM-AHP-TOPSIS) have been employed to identify interrelationships among criteria, rank critical criteria as well as subcriteria, and find the most suitable cloud service provider (CSP) respectively. This study analyses seven criteria and twenty-one sub-criteria that offers a roadmap to decision-makers before CC-adoption (CCA). The analysis of ISM and AHP revealed technology as the most critical and human-environment as the least critical criteria. The vital sub-criteria associated with each criterion are Management Strategic Planning (under Organisation), Government Policy (External Environment), Security (Technology), Financing of IT in Hospital (Economic), Perceived Visibility (Social), and Attitude of Colleagues about Cloud Computing (Human Environment). The results from TOPSIS revealed CSP5 being the most suitable service provider followed by CSP2. Finally, this research makes methodological contribution in terms of an integrated hybrid method, to select a suitable CSP for the healthcare sector and the theoretical contribution in terms of criteria & sub-criteria. This article answers an important question, i.e., whether the benefits of CCA outweighs its barriers, thereby exploring the potential (and future) of CC for the advancement of healthcare provision.  相似文献

This work focuses on infrastructure-less ad hoc wireless networks where multiple transmitter/receiver pairs share the same radio resources (spectrum); transmitters have to choose how to split a total power budget across orthogonal spectrum bands with the goal to maximize their sum rate under cumulative interference from concurrent transmissions. We start off by introducing and characterizing the non-cooperative game among transmitter/receiver pairs when the network topology is deterministically given. The corresponding Nash equilibria are derived, highlighting their dependency on the topological parameters (distances between wireless nodes, propagation model, and background noise power). The analysis is then extended to the case of random network topologies drawn from a given spatial stochastic process. Tools of stochastic geometry are leveraged to derive a statistical characterization of the equilibria of the spectrum sharing game. Finally, a distributed algorithm is proposed to let the players of the spectrum sharing game converge to equilibria conditions. Numerical simulations show that the proposed algorithm drives the users to stable points that are close to the equilibria of the game requiring limited information exchange among nodes.  相似文献

A process has been developed for the synthesis of a new photochromic alkylene sulfide derivative. The process involves the synthesis of an alkylene sulfide with terminal free amino groups and a novel unsymmetrical photochromic diarylperfluorocyclopentene containing an aldehyde group, which coupled together to produce the corresponding Schiff base. In this paper we introduce the Kurdish BLARK (Basic Language Resource Kit). The original BLARK has not considered multi-dialect characteristics and generally has targeted reasonably well-resourced languages. To consider these two features, we extended BLARK and applied the proposed extension to Kurdish. Kurdish language not only faces a paucity in resources, but also embraces several dialects within a complex linguistic context. This paper presents the Kurdish BLARK and shows that from Natural language processing and computational linguistics perspectives the revised BLARK provides a more applicable view of languages with similar characteristics to Kurdish.  相似文献

The present work presents teaching–learning based optimization (TLBO) algorithm as an optimization technique in the area of tuning of the classical controller installed in automatic voltage regulator (AVR). The proposed TLBO algorithm is applied with an aim to find out the optimum value of proportional integral derivative (PID) controller gains with first order low pass filter installed in the AVR. The voltage response of the AVR system, as obtained by using the proposed TLBO based PID controller with first order low pass filter, is compared to those offered by the other algorithms reported in the recent state-of-the-art literatures. The advantage of using this control strategy may be noted by providing good dynamic responses over a wide range of system parametric variations. For on-line, off-nominal operating conditions, fast acting Sugeno fuzzy logic technique is applied to obtain the on-line dynamic responses of the studied model. Furthermore, robustness analysis is also carried out to check the performance of the designed TLBO based PID controller. An analysis, based on voltage response profile, has been investigated with the variations of the model parameters. The simulation results show that the proposed TLBO based PID controller is a significant optimization tool in the subject area of the AVR system. The essence of the present work signifies that the proposed TLBO technique maybe, successfully, applied for the AVR of power system.  相似文献

Currently, foam molding technologies are widely adopted for most bra styles, which demonstrate the incomparable advantages in the contemporary intimate apparel industry. The determination of proper molding conditions, such as molding temperatures and length of time on the basis of cup sizes and styles, is crucial in achieving the required cup shape with high stability, which is regarded as the most challenging part of the molded bra making process. To determine the optimal process parameter settings, numerous process trials are generally required to evaluate the molding variables and their interactions. This study proposes a novel systematic methodology to identify the optimal molding process parameters based on design of experiment (DOE) and a parameterization-based remesh method to evaluate the 3D shape conformity of molded cups. By solving the regression equation obtained from a BoxBehnken design (BBD) and analyzing the response surface plots, the results prove that molding temperature has greater influence than the length of the dwell time on the 3D shape conformity of molded cups. The optimal molding conditions can be determined for the cup depths of different sized mold heads, which are validated by the experimental results.  相似文献

The catch can method is traditionally used for evaluating performance of drip systems. Two variations of this method are commonly applied in laboratory testing of drippers: the sequential and the simultaneous method. This study compared uniformity and measurement uncertainty of the two methods, with the overall aim of improving irrigation water management. The simultaneous method was found to have a lower coefficient of variation (Cv) and measurement uncertainty, indicating that it is more accurate than the sequential method. In all the tests, however, the Cv was determined to be <5%, which is acceptable as per the current reference standard.  相似文献
