Formation of high-density scintillation ceramic from LuAG:Ce + Lu2O3 powders obtained by co-precipitation method

The results of formation of the high density effective scintillation ceramics consisting of two compounds of the cubic symmetry, LuAG:Ce and Lu₂O₃ (LuAG:Ce + Lu₂O₃), are described. Powders of a novel material LuAG:Ce + Lu₂O₃ were synthesized by co-precipitation method. The introduction of Lu₂O₃ into LuAG:Ce was shown to increase the density of the ceramics obtained and modify its scintillation properties.     

On the local behavior of spaces of range image patches

We focus on the quantitative and local topological properties of range images. We consider the spaces M_m of m × m high-contrast patches of range images for m=?3, 5, 7, 9, 11. Using computational topological tools to analyze range image patches, we detect that M₃ (M₉, M₁₁) has core subsets with the topology of a circle, M₃, M₅, M₇, M₉ and that M₁₁ have some subspaces with the topology of a Klein bottle. We also discover that the largest subspace with the Klein bottle’s topology decreases as the measurements of patches increase, which generalizes the results in the paper of H. Adams and G. Carlsson, and demonstrates properties among optical images and range image patches, which are more similar than those established by Lee et al.

文章首先对暑期学校的发展历史和现状进行了分析,指出了现阶段国内高校暑期学校发展中的问题和瓶颈。针对提出的问题,文章剖析了开设暑期学校的理论支撑和实践基础,并结合山东大学九年办学实践经验说明暑期学校在深化教学改革、创新人才培养模式、提高教学质量和办学水平、扩大学校影响力,全面提升学校国际化的积极作用。     

基于多因素耦合分析的冲击地压卸压技术研究

为有效预防ZF2803工作面的冲击地压,本文采用多因素耦合分析法研究了初次来压、见方、煤柱、断层、邻近空区支承压力、煤层厚度变化及巷道底煤等7个因素的单独影响区域及叠加效果,确定了7个危险区:中等冲击危险区4个、强冲击危险区3个,给出了相应的煤层及底板大钻孔预卸压措施,工业性应用取得了良好的防治效果。     

Effect of Ba nonstoichiometry on the phase composition,microstructure, chemical stability and electrical conductivity of BaxCe0.7Zr0.1Y0.1Yb0.1O3−δ (0.9≤x≤1.1) proton conductors

The perovskite proton conductors Ba_xCe_0.7Zr_0.1Y_0.1Yb_0.1O_3−δ (x=0.9, 0.94, 0.98, 1.0, 1.03, 1.06, and 1.1) have been successfully prepared by the conventional solid state reaction route. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns of the samples indicate that Ba_xCe_0.7Zr_0.1Y_0.1Yb_0.1O_3−δ (x≥1.0) samples possess a single phase orthorhombic structure, but a secondary phase (Y,Ce)O_2−δ exists in Ba_xCe_0.7Zr_0.1Y_0.1Yb_0.1O_3−δ (x<1.0) samples. SEM photographs show that the grain size of Ba_xCe_0.7Zr_0.1Y_0.1Yb_0.1O_3−δ increases and the porosity decreases with Ba²⁺ content varying from x=0.9 to 1.1. Because of ZnO addition as sintering aid, the sintering temperature of the samples reduces from 1550 °C to 1250 °C. The chemical stability of the samples against CO₂ decreases with the increase in Ba content from x=0.9 to 1.1. All the samples show a excellent stability against water vapor at 850 °C. The conductivities of the samples increase and the activation energies reduce with the increase in Ba content. The present results suggest that it is very important to control the stoichiometry of cations to obtain desired perovskite type high temperature proton conductors.     

Crystallization and spectroscopic properties in Er3+ doped oxyfluorogermanate glass ceramics containing Na

The Er³⁺ doped oxyfluorogermanate glasses, with a composition containing Na element, were synthesized by the conventional melting–quenching technique. When Na element was introduced into the composition of oxyfluorogermanate glass, the crystals behavior was investigated in details. Depending on the annealing procedure supplied, thermal annealing of precursor glasses in the system GeO₂/BaF₂/AlF₃/Na₂O/NaF/ZnO/GdF₃/ErF₃ led to the precipitation of different crystal phase nanocrystals. It was confirmed the nanocrystals in GC600 is orthorhombic NaBaAlF₆ which led to enhance obviously in the UC luminescence of Er³⁺. However, the nanocrystals in G585 led to decrease in the UC luminescence, which indicated few Er ions enter into the lattice of this nanocrystal phase. The reason of the decrease in UC emission intensity of GC585 was analyzed.     

Electrochemical synthesis and electrochromic application of a novel polymer based on carbazole

The compound containing carbazole and thiophene, named as B1 was synthesized with 4-(9H-carbazol-9-yl) phenol and 3,4-dibromo thiophene. Additionally, the electrochemical polymer of B1 was synthesized and coated onto an ITO-glass surface via electrochemical oxidative polymerization. The electrochemical synthesis of the polymer was performed both in 0.05 M LiClO₄ supporting electrolyte in AN/BF₃EtE (1:1, v/v) and an AN/LiClO₄ solvent/electrolyte solution. The compounds were characterized by FT-IR and NMR techniques. The spectroelectrochemical and electrochromic properties of this polymer were also investigated for two electrolyte solution systems. The switching ability of this polymer was measured as the percent transmittance (%T) at its point of maximum contrast. According to the electrochromic measurements, the synthesized polymer had a blue color when it was oxidized, and also when it was reduced, it had a transparent color. Additionally, redox stability measurements indicates that the polymer had a high stability and it could be used to produce new polymeric electrochromic devices and also, it was a good candidate for electrochromic devices (ECDs) applications.
