本文提出一种与现有以太网兼容的综合话音/数据协议.描述了协议模型及实现方法.并用PASCAL语言在IBM-PC机上模拟研究了该协议的性能.模拟结果表明,该协议能满足话音的实时要求,性能良好,且数据传输性能没有明显下降.协议克服了以太网传输话音延迟不确定的缺点.

Comparative Study of Different Adaptive Window Protocols

We study an Adaptive Window Protocol (AWP) with general increase and decrease profiles in the presence of window dependent random losses. We derive a steady-state Kolmogorov equation, and then obtain its solution in analytic form for particular TCP versions proposed for high speed networks, such as Scalable TCP and HighSpeed TCP. We also relate window evolution under an AWP to workload process in queueing systems; this observation gives us a way to compare various AWP protocols.

The social consequences of expressive suppression.

At times, people keep their emotions from showing during social interactions. The authors' analysis suggests that such expressive suppression should disrupt communication and increase stress levels. To test this hypothesis, the authors conducted 2 studies in which unacquainted pairs of women discussed an upsetting topic. In Study 1, one member of each pair was randomly assigned to (a) suppress her emotional behavior, (b) respond naturally, or (c) cognitively reappraise in a way that reduced emotional responding. Suppression alone disrupted communication and magnified blood pressure responses in the suppressors' partners. In Study 2, suppression had a negative impact on the regulators' emotional experience and increased blood pressure in both regulators and their partners. 如何对接入网络的用户进行身份认证、授予相应权限并进行计费,是卫星移动通信系统网络管理需解决的重要问题。简要介绍认证、授权、计费(AAA)的基本概念,分析Diameter协议框架、协议原理以及协议应用于网络接入的特点。阐述协议中包含的各种应用,给出Diameter NASREQ应用的一种系统模型。重点研究Diameter NASREQ协议在卫星移动通信系统中的应用,详述应用中客户机和服务器中各模块的功能和工作原理。通过分析,说明该应用的可行性及有效性。     

嵌入式Web服务器在中小水电信息采集系统中的应用

中小水电站大多数建在偏远山区，并网管理难度非常大，解决中小水电站的信息传输是主要的技术难点之一。随着计算机技术的发展，嵌入式Web服务器技术在远程监控和实时通信系统中的应用越来越广泛。将Web技术引入中小水电站信息采集系统中，可以实现对中小水电站基于浏览器方式的远程监控。文中结合中小水电站通信结构，介绍了嵌入式Web服务器技术在中小水电站信息采集系统中的应用。     

Weak coin flipping with small bias

This paper presents a quantum protocol that demonstrates that weak coin flipping with bias ≈0.239, less than 1/4, is possible. A bias of 1/4 was the smallest known, and followed from the strong coin flipping protocol of Ambainis in [33rd STOC, 2001] (also proposed by Spekkens and Rudolph [Phys. Rev. A 65 (2002) 012310]). Protocols with yet smaller bias ≈0.207 have independently been discovered by Ambainis (2001) and Spekkens and Rudolph [Phys. Rev. Lett. 89 (2002) 227901]. We also present an alternative strong coin flipping protocol with bias 1/4 with analysis simpler than that of Ambainis [33rd STOC, 2001].
