New relationships between energy efficiency, illuminance uniformity, spacing and mounting height in public lighting installations were derived from the analysis of a large sample of outputs generated with a widely used software application for lighting design. These new relationships greatly facilitate the calculation of basic lighting installation parameters. The results obtained are also based on maximal energy efficiency and illuminance uniformity as a premise, which are not included in more conventional methods. However, these factors are crucial since they ensure the sustainability of the installations. This research formulated, applied and analysed these new equations. The results of this study highlight their usefulness in rapid planning and urban planning in developing countries or areas affected by natural disasters where engineering facilities and computer applications for this purpose are often unavailable.  相似文献

随着公路隧道数量和里程的增加,隧道运营过程中的照明将会消耗更巨大的电能,这是运营单位所承担的主要负担,如何有效的降低该能耗已经成为重要的问题。国内外专家学者对此作了大量研究,通常使照明灯具达到最好的照明效果是降低电能消耗的有效途径之一。采用DIALux照明仿真软件,分别建立隧道照明灯具两侧对称布置和交错布置模型,以洞内路面亮度、照度和均匀度满足交通安全要求为约束条件,分析了不同布灯形式和灯具不同照射角度情况对隧道内照明环境的影响,通过综合分析比较,得出当灯具交错布置、发光轴线与竖直面夹角为15°时的照明环境最好。  相似文献

PMMA material is widely used in LED-based luminaires due to several advantages such as excellent optical transparency, durability against radiation, surface hardness (scratch free), rigidity and strength and can be completely recycled. However, few studies have been reported on the colour shift and failure mechanisms caused by this type of material. This paper experimentally investigated PMMA materials with different aging conditions. The following conclusions could be drawn. (1) Discolouration was not observed for any sample subjected to aging of 85 °C for 5000 h, or with additional blue light irradiation for 5000 h, or with additional humidity of 85%RH for 5000 h, or even with aging of 100 °C for 3000 h. (2) The specimen subjected to aging of 150 °C for 360 h has a surface discoloration and has a significant wavelength dependent degradation in the transmission spectrum caused by oxidation. The specimen with aging of 100 °C for 3000 h has a less oxidation, although no significant transmission spectrum reduction was observed. (3) Using such aged specimen as a diffuser mounted on a LED-based luminaire, the radiant flux peak intensity in the blue light area has a more severe reduction than that in the yellow light area, which results in a reduction of the radiant flux intensity ratio of blue light to yellow light and hence induces the colour shift to yellow. The colour shift investigated is 0.005, very close to the general failure criterion of 0.007, while the lumen decay is 10.2%, far less than the failure criterion of 30%.  相似文献

An investigation of how emergency vehicle lighting (EVL) can be improved is reported with reference to an analysis of police vehicle road traffic accidents (Study 1). In Study 2, 37 regular drivers were shown film clips of a marked police vehicle, in which flash rate (1 Hz, 4 Hz) and pattern (single, triple pulse) were varied on the blue Light Emitting Diode (LED) roofbar. Results indicate a 4 Hz flash rate conveys greater urgency than a 1 Hz rate, while a 1 Hz, single flash combination was ranked the least urgent of all combinations. Participants claimed they would leave significantly more space before pulling out in front of an approaching police car (gap acceptance) in the 4 Hz single pulse condition in comparison to other EVL combinations. The preliminary implications for which flash characteristics could prove most optimal for emergency service use are discussed with regard to effects on driver perception and expected driving behaviour.  相似文献

We report on efficient solution-processed phosphorescent white polymer light-emitting diodes (WPLEDs) with tunable color-correlated temperature (CCT) and color rendering index (CRI), through rationally controlling the composition of the emission layer (EML) based on a near-infrared (NIR)-emitting dinuclear cyclometalated platinum (II) complex bridged with NˆS anionic ligand, named (niq)2Pt2(μ-C8PhOXT)2 (Pt-1, in which PhOXT is 5-(phenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole)-2-thiol, niq is 1-naphthylisoquinolinato), a sky-blue emitter iridium (III) bis[(4,6-di-fluorophenyl)-pyridinato-N,C2] (picolinate) (FIrpic), and a yellow emitter bis[2-(thieno[3,2-c]pyridin-4-yl)phenyl]iridium(III)(acetylacetonato) (PO-01). One of the best three-color WPLEDs shows a CCT of 3246 K as well as an excellent high CRI of 87, which are greatly beneficial in reducing deep-blue light damage and simultaneously meet the requirement for good color reproduction. Meanwhile, the relevant WPLED also achieves a maximum current efficiency of 12.1 cd/A, corresponding to an external quantum efficiency of 10.6%. This work presents an effective approach through rational combination of sky-blue, yellow, and NIR emitters towards high-performance solution-processable WPLEDs with a physiologically-friendly CCT and a high CRI.  相似文献

Abstract

We present a progressive refinement system for rendering direct illumination at interactive rates for dynamic scenes using available graphics APIs. We achieve the progression by subdividing object surfaces using a quad‐tree approach. Integrating the visibility and illumination, we can render scenes with soft shadows, taking into account the BRDFs of the scene objects. Our system allows a user to specify the desired frame rates, and the system will achieve such rates with the available time budget. Our system can also render dynamic scenes where the system restores the initial meshes and calculates illumination, producing finer but accurate soft shadows during iterative refinements.  相似文献

The accurate prediction of the visual comfort zone in an indoor environment is difficult as it depends on many parameters. This is especially the case for large compact urban areas in which the density and shadow from neighboring buildings can limit the accessible daylighting in indoor spaces. This paper investigates the satisfaction range for illuminance regarding indoor air temperature in office buildings and the significant parameters affecting this range in six office buildings in Tehran, Iran. Lighting comfort has been evaluated by a subjective survey (509 total responses) and field measurement. The questionnaires were filled out in 146 and 109 rooms in summer and winter, respectively. The results show that the illuminance should not be less than 550 lx, while illuminance between 600 and 650 lx provides the highest satisfaction level. The satisfaction with lighting level is affected by individual parameters such as age, type of activity, and environmental parameters such as window orientation, external obscurations, and season. A relationship was observed between lighting level satisfaction and thermal condition acceptance, and the overall comfort depends more on thermal conditions than the lighting level.  相似文献
