Design for pressure die casting—A DFM example

The designer makes many maufacturing decisions that influence the production cost and the quality of the product. It is therefore important to ensure that the designer has a good foundation for these decisions. When talking DFM, it is important to realise that there are large differences between companies in how product design and production are carried out. The objective of the present research is to investigate and to improve the communication flow between design and production for a selected area: pressure die casting. This area is characterised by many subcontracting producers, and design and production are therefore often placed at different geographic locations. This makes an efficient communication flow even more important and it also makes the communication interface more visible. This paper discusses how manufacturing considerations are made in different design situations and how information supporting tools should be formed accordingly. Results from an investigation of DFM in a number of pressure diecasting companies and companies that design products for pressure die casting are presented. The investigation focuses on the type, the detailing level and the accessibility of the part information passing from design to production and on the manufacturing guidelines and suggestions coming from production to design.

2005年10月27日通过的《公司法(修订案)》,是对我国1993年《公司法》的全面修改和完善。其对公司刑事责任的整合规定,体现了立法技术的进一步成熟;对公司注册资本制度的修订,将会对虚报注册资本罪、虚假出资罪的认定产生不容忽视的影响;对一人公司的增加规定,将会产生如何正确界定一人公司犯罪是公司(单位)犯罪还是自然人犯罪问题。     

O2 reduction at the Pt/Nafion interface in 85% concentrated H3PO4

The kinetics of oxygen electroreduction have been studied on a smooth platinum electrode coated with Nafion® in concentrated 85% H₃PO₄. The effects of Nafion® coatings of different thickness on O₂ electroreduction at a smooth Pt rotating disk electrode with 85% phosphoric acid as the bulk electrolyte were examined. The kinetic current increases with increasing Nafion® film thickness while the diffusion limiting current decreases with increasing Nafion® film thickness. A O₂ concentration profile model for the Pt/Nafion®/bulk electrolyte has been established, and this model can be used to explain the O₂ reduction polarization results. The performance of Nafion®-modified, high surface area Pt/carbon air cathodes for use in the H₂–air concentrated phosphoric acid fuel cell was also studied.
