Building a right digital twin with model engineering

In recent years, the concept of digital twin (DT) is attracting more and more attention from researchers and engineers. But there is still no consensus on what a right DT is. On one hand, some common models are renamed as DTs. On the other hand, some DTs extremely pursue ‘the same’ as physical objects, which bring unnecessary complexities to them. In this paper, we try to answer two questions from the point of view of model engineering: how to define a right digital twin, and how to build a right digital twin. The concept and related technologies of model engineering are introduced. Some basic principles and a set of metrics for a right DT are given. An evolutionary concurrent modeling method for DT (ECoM4DT) is proposed not only inheriting the theory from classic M&S methods but also highlighting the characteristics of DT compared with traditional models to systemically guide the DT modeling process.

Input‐to‐state stability of min‐max MPC scheme for nonlinear time‐varying delay systems

This paper studies the robustness problem of the min–max model predictive control (MPC) scheme for constrained nonlinear time‐varying delay systems subject to bounded disturbances. The notion of the input‐to‐state stability (ISS) of nonlinear time‐delay systems is introduced. Then by using the Lyapunov–Krasovskii method, a delay‐dependent sufficient condition is derived to guarantee input‐to‐state practical stability (ISpS) of the closed‐loop system by way of nonlinear matrix inequalities (NLMI). In order to lessen the online computational demand, the non‐convex min‐max optimization problem is then converted to a minimization problem with linear matrix inequality (LMI) constraints and a suboptimal MPC algorithm is provided. A hybrid stock selection model using genetic algorithms and support vector regression

In the areas of investment research and applications, feasible quantitative models include methodologies stemming from soft computing for prediction of financial time series, multi-objective optimization of investment return and risk reduction, as well as selection of investment instruments for portfolio management based on asset ranking using a variety of input variables and historical data, etc. Among all these, stock selection has long been identified as a challenging and important task. This line of research is highly contingent upon reliable stock ranking for successful portfolio construction. Recent advances in machine learning and data mining are leading to significant opportunities to solve these problems more effectively. In this study, we aim at developing a methodology for effective stock selection using support vector regression (SVR) as well as genetic algorithms (GAs). We first employ the SVR method to generate surrogates for actual stock returns that in turn serve to provide reliable rankings of stocks. Top-ranked stocks can thus be selected to form a portfolio. On top of this model, the GA is employed for the optimization of model parameters, and feature selection to acquire optimal subsets of input variables to the SVR model. We will show that the investment returns provided by our proposed methodology significantly outperform the benchmark. Based upon these promising results, we expect this hybrid GA-SVR methodology to advance the research in soft computing for finance and provide an effective solution to stock selection in practice.

引入漂移特性的用户兴趣模型优化研究

根据用户浏览网页时的操作行为,通过量化的方法建立起用户兴趣模型来反映用户兴趣,从而针对不同用户推荐其可能感兴趣的文章。基于兴趣模型的更新效率问题和用户兴趣的漂移特性,引入兴趣模型的时间分段机制和时间衰减机制,对兴趣模型进行了持续优化。实验表明,优化的兴趣模型在系统性能上有较大的提升,并能较好地反映出用户的兴趣变化,对于用户兴趣的表征更加准确,从而进一步提高了兴趣模型推荐文章的准确率。     

领域驱动模型的WEB软件系统设计研究

首先分析了J2EE3层架构的特性及局限,说明了领域驱动设计模型中的充血模型的优势。通过运用最新JDKI．7及Tomcat的相应改造,设计出能实现以充血模型结构为基础的新型WEB系统开发框架,并通过一简单实例说明架构如何支持系统开发。     

一种应用于设施农业的有源RFID系统设计

设计了一种应用于设施农业的有源RFID系统。系统选用TI公司的超低功耗芯片CC430,利用分布在设施农业大棚中的各个有源RFID系统标签节点,来监控作物生长的各种环境因素。同时,设计了上层应用软件,能有效实时的将各个标签捕获的信息存储并显示,并参照一些农作物生长模型合理提醒报警。     

智能家庭混合能源管理的动态建模与优化

智能电网使家庭由静态的能源消费者向动态参与者转变,需对多种不同的供能设备进行协同优化控制。以电网、光伏发电、太阳能集热器及储能电池4种能源为智能家庭的供给源,以室温控制、热水供应为两大主要服务目标,以最小化能源费用支出为优化指标,建立了家庭能源管理的优化控制模型,并提出基于粒子群算法的智能求解策略。通过对某虚拟家庭的仿真,验证了模型和算法的有效性。     

需求分析与软件可靠性保证

通过对软件测试过程中产生的数据进行分析,对照软件设计过程中需求分析中的错误或缺陷,对有关可靠性指标进行反复度量,明确软件错误的分布以减少其对软件需求分析可靠性的影响,进而对相关的错误或缺陷进行控制。
